Nico? The gent in the glasses was amazingly insightful! 👏 I'm old enough to be his dad, but I related so much with the things he said. Thank you for this.
Hello Shaan, I can’t thank you enough for the Facebook group and all these YT videos. It can be a lifesaver. I’d like to ask if the large representation of men in the videos is a conscious effort at bringing desperately needed attention to men’s mental health, something that is regarded by many as something of an epidemic and something many feel unable to discuss or admit. So much deserved attention given to women and panic/anxiety issues, but society has been a catastrophic failure at addressing men and anxiety attacks and other emotional maladies. Regardless, as a man who has been bedeviled by this, it’s a godsend to see and hear so many other males on your platforms talk about this like this! I feel ashamed to have to say that for many years I actually believed only women could suffer from panic and DP/DR. This is a gift to our society and the millions of men who have suffered in silence. Thank you.
I love this so much! Nico's story is very similar to mine- and I definitely relate to the tremors. For me they happened everywhere, and the greatest thing for me? They're going away (thanks to your videos) which I could never imagine.
Shaan you are amazing... a few months ago, listening to anxiety recovery stories made me anxious .. today I am facing my fears one by one.. I know about anxiety mechanics, I know about acceptance, and I know what limiting beliefs held me back for so long, but I still have to go a long way.. God bless you and your team xx
@@juliaz6839 I'm still working on it, but it seems to get better for most people once they are able to calm their nervous system for a sustained period of time. I know that's hard to do when you are flipping out about symptoms, that's why it's a loop. One creates the other. But I believe once the nervous system regulates, then the symptoms will fade in time.
@@juliaz6839 sorry for the delay.... it's bad but it's getting better. I basically see it for what it is now and just need to get the proper response down. Which is calm and not getting caught up in thinking.

@shaan so should I treat weed like you guys were talking about alcohol. I think it’s healthier than the booze and I’ve always really enjoyed it but I’m scared to smoke now but should I smoke anyway because I want to. Or should I avoid it. I feel so bad but I don’t wanna quit smoking as I’ve always enjoyed it. I can never get a straight answer it’s always people that are super scared of weed that will tell you don’t do it or avoid it. Like dude was saying at the round table convo which is great by the way! Thanks in advance I hope we all heal 100% be day. This is no way to live.

Dear Shaan Love your channel Going through this for 2 years and it’s still hanging around Had a bad breakup through my bad choices stuck on meds and intrusive thoughts and all physical symptoms Hard to see a way out But did have a shift last week for the first time 4 good days but then slipped back hard to get out of bed and face the day Please advise
So Recovery is all about accepting anxiety and figuring out the root cause of it And just living life how u did when u didn’t have these symptoms just let them be there without u question them just enjoying your life how u did in the past???
Yup. But also you don’t have to pretend that the symptoms aren’t there as you live your life, but acknowledge them, let them do their thing and keep living your life.

Don't give up ! I am cured of (or fully recovered from) my panic disorder for 100 %. Panic disorder is the best treatable disorder or form of anxiety issues at all.
Something I wonder about Shaan: If my anxiety started with Weed and now I am afraid of smoking because I know I will get anxious... should I completely stay away from weed because it is a trigger, or should I actually slowly start smoking a little to face the anxiety it gives me?
If it’s DPDR that it caused, I suggest to avoid it. This is what caused my initial DPDR too. It’s very common. But if it happens again, is it really worth smoking?
It really helps I enjoyed this one very much. My problem I seem to can’t get is when to apply the steps. Like in my mind I know I can do it but my body is saying no no no not today 😆

Guys. But those socks. Thoughts?

And another thing did these people have a acute Anxiety disorder for years and still healed??
Yes, they learned how to not make anxiety increase. Making room for it and not fearing it is a major step.
Can depression be causing the anxiety or vice versa 😕
Yess... no doubt about it..
@@Randomtalksss thats what I figured, one was either causing the other or making the other worse.

Yeah, it's very common after a panic disorder recovery ! It's the autonomic nervous system that gives you hard time. But it will disappear with time.
Very Simple! Go through it. I know it sounds stupid to you right now, but believe me you mustn't do nothing about / against it.
