As a biker, thank you for dealing with Tinted Windows. It's really tough to be able to see where the driver's attention is when you can't see them, making it dangerous to pass in front of them. I wish people could see how dangerous tinted windows are, and put aside their own vanity.
The Cybertruck guy sounded like he is thinking of keeping the tinted windows and just pay a fine for it from time to time. No big deal to him. Just have to look as cool as possible even if it means paying some extra money for it.
Many (my bet is 25-40%) don't have insurance. Police agencies would have to hugely increase budget to deal with arresting/towing such a volume of offending drivers and my bet is there'd be little public support for it, since there are so many drivers doing so many more bad things on the roadway.
Mandating insurance extortion??? Tell that to the family that an uninsured motorist that crashed into them causing a fatality or serious medical injuries and least of which totaling their vehicle. Who should pay for the loss if not the driver that doesn’t care about paying for insurance?
Deputy Sloup, I used to stream your Fridays with Frank videos with a criminal amount of speed and without mud flaps, I have since realized they are much more enjoyable viewing them at the posted speed limit.
Virginia used to ticket for illegal window tint. I can't tell you how many I have seen in the last year. Everywhere. That and expired tags. Everywhere.
Frank made great a great point, not to give LEO’s any reason to pull you over for seatbelts or tint. I just bought a new Jeep this year and went in to have the front tinted. The Tint shop was automatically going to match the front window tint to the back. I asked if it was legal and she said “Oh No”. In fact most people even go even darker the problem is that even legal tint in my state might be illegal in Franks state.
Seatbelt is a secondary offense in AZ meaning they aren't supposed to stop you for it but it can be added as a violation if you get stopped for something else
In Texas, you can get a medical exemption for darker tint and tint on your windshield. It’s very easy if you’re a radiographer and work in a darkroom all day. Sunlight doesn’t feel good when you spend the majority of your time either in the dark or under red lights. Sure I could just get some dark shades, but the blacked out civic looks good 😂
It does not take two months to get in to see an eye doctor for a prescription. I think more his problem is trying to find an eye doctor who will write him a prescription for illegal window tint. I wish they would ticket illegal tint in Oklahoma. Not to mention the black covers that everyone is putting over there brake lights and turn signals so their entire vehicle is black. Those lights are there for a reason. They are not decoration. They are there for everyone else's safety even if you're too stupid not to care about your own.
I’m not sure if you already know, but incase anybody tries to tell you that they come factory tinted, the window has an etched in description of the level of tint percentage in one of the bottom corners. Usually it’s 20% rears and 70% front.
@@stevenfarley4738 Looks cool and isn't a heavily enforced law. I think it's a dumb law to a point but literal limo tint like that cybertruck had is an actual safety hazard for nighttime driving. 50% tint on windshield not so much.
@@redtra236 dumb or not, it's still the law. You can still achieve significant heat reduction with a good (legal) ceramic tint, however, as you state, it's mainly for the looks as to why you would want darker (and illegal) tint.
Arizona changed the law to eliminate the ability to impound a vehicle for a suspended driver's license on January 1, 2019. The change was made by Arizona Session Laws, Chapter 113 in 2018. They only tow if the driver never had a license or it was revoked.
The thing about insurance is a lot of people have it but lost the paper proving it which has personally happened to my dumbass. He's gonna be towing a LOT of cars if no proof of insurance is an automatic tow.
In Arizona tint should be mandatory. The was not even that dark when you can still see though the windshield from the back. Plus he was trying to get a prescription for it. Getting anything through the doctor is going to take more than 2 months. I have been trying to get hearing aids for over 8 months. A citation for speeding I understand, having tint in the Arizona heat is insane. I think when I retire I'll be moving back to Texas. At least there they don't care about window tint.

Current proof of insurance...
Let's sleep with him and find out...
I wanna visit Arizona so I can shout hi to Frank and hear him shout "Hi Citizen" back.
Franks pen game is tiiiiiight.
I admire the way you've got pens loaded like ammunition in a bandolier.
I noticed that, too! He’s ready to do some writing 😎
Like an accountant
He won't take the pens back that people sign their tickets with. He said it in a video with Sheriff Lamb. Lamb asked him about his bag of pens and he explained why lol.
@@Yaya2214CJ I wonder if he has pens engraved with his name.
He doesn't trust people to have clean hands . Easier just to let them have a cheap pen and keep moving.
I would imagine that it wouldn't be very comfortable in those vests in the heat
I feel that Frank needs some reflective material to help make him more visible to motorists. In Pima County, if I'm out of the car for as long as he is...I wear a High Viz Vest. The almost "Camo" green vest seems to be a tad more dangerous while standing on the side of a busy road. Stay Safe Frank...Arizona needs you ! America needs you.
Wow Frank!!!... 7 pens in in your vest....must need them for all that ticket writing...stay safe
He mentioned in a video long ago he has that many pens as when he gives someone a pen to sign their ticket, sometimes he really doesn't want it back 🤮😄
Ive actually heard him say, in a past video, that the reason he keeps so many pens on him is bcuz sometimes when someone needs to use his pen, that he doesn't even want his pen back! Lol (For whatever reason?) So he'll tell em "Just keep it" 😅
UPDATE: Someone else just posted same thing I just did only 2mins before I did 😂
Yes. Another Deputy Frank Sloup. Video. Just started my day off. Be safe out tgere Sir
If Frank was in KCMO he could stand on a street corner and never stop writing tickets.
If he was in Detroit he could write them until he used up the ink in all of his pens.
Or that Charleston, South Carolina intersection!!!
keep doing what you do frank, love the work
As a biker, thank you for dealing with Tinted Windows. It's really tough to be able to see where the driver's attention is when you can't see them, making it dangerous to pass in front of them. I wish people could see how dangerous tinted windows are, and put aside their own vanity.
Much respect sir!! Thanks for your service. 😊
Frank giving warnings? Wait - what?!! 😆
Hey Frank since you supposedly don’t know and for when others ask, In Arizona, the fine for an illegally tinted window is up to $250 per violation.,
All cops know what the fines are. I love when Cops say they dont. Just like they deny there isnt a quota that must be met every month.
The Cybertruck guy sounded like he is thinking of keeping the tinted windows and just pay a fine for it from time to time. No big deal to him. Just have to look as cool as possible even if it means paying some extra money for it.
I think this was the first time I noticed the "please be patient, student driver" decal on your trunk. That's hilarious!
Why do they call it a truck when it can’t even carry a refrigerator?😢
😂😂
But it can. It can carry snowmobiles, atv, etc. it just can't do real truck stuff like pull out a stuck f150 without destroying the frame.
@@JeffRobertson-m7vthat truck is absolutely useless
I love this man. Ohhh, you're one of those digital people had me cracking up! 😂😂😂❤❤❤
No insurance should be vehicle off the road
Unfortunately still not the case in Arizona
Many (my bet is 25-40%) don't have insurance. Police agencies would have to hugely increase budget to deal with arresting/towing such a volume of offending drivers and my bet is there'd be little public support for it, since there are so many drivers doing so many more bad things on the roadway.
Mandatory insurance is legalized extortion.
Mandating insurance extortion???
Tell that to the family that an uninsured motorist that crashed into them causing a fatality or serious medical injuries and least of which totaling their vehicle.
Who should pay for the loss if not the driver that doesn’t care about paying for insurance?
@@glockbx877 I'm not sure what you are trying to say here
It was in reply to the comment that mandatory insurance is legalized extortion
I just love Friday's with Frank !!!!
Cybertrucks are so ugly. I truly don't understand why someone would buy one aside from showing off how much money they can throw away.
From the reviews I've seen online the ride and drive is top level in them.
@@guzzijack9714 Doesn't make up for the bad esthetic, in my opinion. Or the company CEO.

@guzzijack9714 when they turn on that is 😂
Driver: "Officer do you have an extra pen?"
Frank: "Hold my beer..."
Stop calling that thing a truck, it is NOT a truck, just call it a cyberdumpster.
I've never heard that before. Damn that's appropriate, and funny.
Lmaoooo oh my gosh you’re so hilarious!! That’s so funny I’ve never heard that one before hahaha. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Well, yeah. It looks like a malformed, old tuna can.
Frank just pulling over the black cyber was awesome. Tesla can turn their logo upside down and sit on it.
I am going to buy a 10 pack of BIC pens for Mr. Sloup for Christmas
Everywhere.
I love the way you tell people you don't do what you do for money. Some people think traffic stops are cash cows.
They are.
Why are you pulling over black refrigerators?
🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Music is distracting while listening to what is said. Not a bad idea but maybe should be toned down a bit. Great videos as always Frank!
The car Homer Simpson designed is nicer looking than that cyber truck. Ugliest vehicle ever!
Canyon-erooOoOOoOooOo!
I don’t know how people can drive at night when their window tint is so dark. Love Friday’s with Frank. 👍
I love that answer, "we don't do what we do for money, it all goes through the courts". I wish I had that answer 25 years ago 😂
Cybertruck: How much does it cost for me to keep doing the wrong thing? Typical Tesla owner.
Frank just takes the whole package of ink pens and jams them into his vest.😂😂😂
Great video, but I do have a question,
as a traffic unit, do you also respond to 911 calls, respond to back-up requests and so on? Including pursuits
He has a few times...
He is also on the SWAT team.
Frank, You are my hero!!
Tesela "Truck" is the most ugly thing on the road.
“We don’t do what we do for money.” I like that phrase - it really pushes the safety aspect.
That Cybertruck is doing its best impression of a F117 stealth fighter. 😎
Another busy body retard, what else is new?
If you need something that black, just get a Midnight Edition Nissan
I’m not sure if you already know, but incase anybody tries to tell you that they come factory tinted, the window has an etched in description of the level of tint percentage in one of the bottom corners.
Usually it’s 20% rears and 70% front.
Thanks for marking the streets safe
🌵✌️😎🌵
"Hi, Frank!"
"Hi, Citizen!" 😆 🤣
Don't understand why folks continue to put illegal tint on their windows.
Why not?
DO AS YOUR GOVERNMENT OVERLORDS COMMAND
@@desertrat1831 uh, it’s illegal?
@@stevenfarley4738 Looks cool and isn't a heavily enforced law. I think it's a dumb law to a point but literal limo tint like that cybertruck had is an actual safety hazard for nighttime driving. 50% tint on windshield not so much.
@@redtra236 dumb or not, it's still the law. You can still achieve significant heat reduction with a good (legal) ceramic tint, however, as you state, it's mainly for the looks as to why you would want darker (and illegal) tint.
Ever since I retired, Fridays didn't have quite the same importance as they used to. Then I discovered FWF.
Arizona needs to make it a law ,,NO INSURANCE YOU GET TOWED AND OR NO LICENSE ALSO
Arizona changed the law to eliminate the ability to impound a vehicle for a suspended driver's license on January 1, 2019. The change was made by Arizona Session Laws, Chapter 113 in 2018. They only tow if the driver never had a license or it was revoked.
Democrats!
The thing about insurance is a lot of people have it but lost the paper proving it which has personally happened to my dumbass. He's gonna be towing a LOT of cars if no proof of insurance is an automatic tow.
Thanks, Frank! You be safe out there!
Owner a cybertruck is a citation in and of itself.
Lol! Agree!
There is anti-glare film available that is transparent and legal. Having limo tint on a windshield makes it nearly impossible to see at night.
@pacificcoast101 he didn't have limo tint on the windshield. You could see though it from the back. Limo tint darker than that.
