Tossing a felony charge on the female would only serve to delay any deportation proceedings, and add additional burden to the courts and the taxpayers. His out-of-state warrants will be enough to keep them under the thumb of immigration, and possibly expedite their departure back to whence they came. We see a few of these cases where the state offers to dismiss minor non-violent criminal charges in exchange for voluntary deportation. Saves the taxpayers money.

In Dec. 1999 I was hit by a red light runner, unlicensed, uninsured and not her car. I fought my insurance for a fair settlement for my physical injuries that took years to recover from. Thank you for removing those people from the road before they injured or killed somebody.

1995 10:30 a.m., I am sitting at a red light admiring the sweet 1942 Chevy, baby blue, sitting in the left turn lane. The light for him turns green and he starts into the road. A car came out of nowhere, bookin' it, and slammed into the car. I see the Chevy spin, the door pop, and he tumbled out into the middle of the intersection, the car went off into the ditch. The car that hit him continued a few more yards and went into a guardrail. I pulled over and shut down, running to the guy in the road. He was bleeding, hurting his neck and back. I stayed with him, talking to him and keeping him awake. Some car drove past and dropped a blanket out the window for him. As we talked, another couple of guys ran to the other car and pulled out the driver. The guy I was with was telling me that his wife was in the hospital, very ill, and now he was going to be there too. As the ambulance was loading him, the cop walked over to the other guy and put him in cuffs. One of the guys who had pulled him out came over and told me that the guy, who was an illegal from south of the border, was drunk as a skunk to the point he didn't know he even hit anyone. At 10:30 in the morning. And that beautiful car, which the guy had just finished, was going to need a lot of work to be able to drive it again.

Over the years, I’ve helped my parents learn English and understand how things work here because it’s important to learn and respect the laws. This video just highlights the lack of accountability and respect for the process... no license, speeding, and then calling 911 on the officer trying to do his job. The fact that the daughter, who speaks good English, called the police because of her parents’ influence is even more disappointing. The key is the word "eventually." Until congress appropriates the funding to increase the number of immigration courts, immigration judges, and detention facilities, the process is so backlogged that the entire immigration system is broken. It would also be helpful for improving the authority of state law enforcement to enforce federal immigration laws. The politicians on both sides talk about fixing the problem, but always end up doing absolutely nothing other than band-aids and window dressing. You would not believe how hard it is to get an immigration detainer imposed. We have county jails loaded with illegals awaiting hearings on immigration we're running out of room for our serious US citizen felons. Whatever their issues, they are still human beings, not animals. Frank treated them no differently than anyone else he comes in contact with. He addressed their bad actions while still showing kindness and compassion. Sometimes, the best way to get through to people is to lead by example. In the end, that professionalism seems to have went a long way to getting ICE and Border Patrol to actually get involved and take action.

I keep hearing the phrase “legal US citizens”. You are either a citizen or not, there is no such thing as a legal citizen. As an immigrant you can be either an illegal immigrant or a legal immigrant with a green card but once you become a citizen after 5 years of residency you are just called a US citizen, not a “legal citizen”

I have Mexican parents, and watching this is so fucking embarrassing. I’m grateful to have been born in the United States, where I’ve grown up to love and respect this country. Over the years, I’ve helped my parents learn English and understand how things work here because it’s important to learn and respect the laws. This video just highlights the lack of accountability and respect for the process... no license, speeding, and then calling 911 on the officer trying to do his job. The fact that the daughter, who speaks good English, called the police because of her parents’ influence is even more disappointing. We’re lucky to be here in the U.S., and it's so important to honor that privilege. Great job as always Frank, this was satisfying to watch on your point

I’m only third generation in this country, which to think about it, isn’t all that long ago in the big perspective. My family came from Austria and Poland. They learned the language and set up a small butcher shop in Chicago. They were thankful for their customers and provided a service to the community. As a child, I remember going into my then Grandpa’s shop and the smell of the wonderful sausages for sale! As time went on, I was so proud of my Great Grandparents and Grandparents. They worked hard and provided a good life for their family.

The key is the word "eventually." Until congress appropriates the funding to increase the number of immigration courts, immigration judges, and detention facilities, the process is so backlogged that the entire immigration system is broken. It would also be helpful for improving the authority of state law enforcement to enforce federal immigration laws. The politicians on both sides talk about fixing the problem, but always end up doing absolutely nothing other than band-aids and window dressing. You would not believe how hard it is to get an immigration detainer imposed. We have county jails loaded with illegals awaiting hearings on immigration we're running out of room for our serious US citizen felons.
Whatever their issues, they are still human beings, not animals. Frank treated them no differently than anyone else he comes in contact with. He addressed their bad actions while still showing kindness and compassion. Sometimes, the best way to get through to people is to lead by example. In the end, that professionalism seems to have went a long way to getting ICE and Border Patrol to actually get involved and take action.

I keep hearing the phrase “legal US citizens”. You are either a citizen or not, there is no such thing as a legal citizen. As an immigrant you can be either an illegal immigrant or a legal immigrant with a green card but once you become a citizen after 5 years of residency you are just called a US citizen, not a “legal citizen”

For example: I know someone , US born citizen, who married overseas. She and her husband came to the US. The immigrant husband had to have a bond, which was posted by the wife’s parents, of $25k. The bond would have been subject to forfeit if the husband broke the law or accepted any form of public monetary assistance. I believe they said his citizenship here in the US could have also been forfeited. I was s kid and it was really complicated, but, yeah, he would have been an illegal citizen until procedures to forfeit citizenship were completed.@@stefanbucur6472

Absolutely awesome job showing courtesy and professionalism. The occupants lied, yelled, argued, and called 911 on a cop - knowing the driver was not a solid citizen. Even the English speaking occupant couldn't comprehend the gravity of the situation. Maybe try to speak the language of the officer that will be taking you into custody, as "bro" somehow just doesn't cut it.
She actually wasn’t lying about having HER licence and proper paperwork for the car. It was the fact she let an unlicensed driver speed in her car that got it towed.
And there are literally millions more just like this guy living in OUR country right now.
