I was watching this on my break at work and literally laughed out loud. Other people around me were looking at me a little strange.
No, the worst thing about being Blind is the SIGHTED. I am blind, brain, and I KNOW. I do Cross Fit and everything in total black, becoming blind made me a better man. I laugh and enjoy life to the best
I love Tommy's attitude on life.

I have kind of an interesting question, since you were blind from birth you have never seen anything in the world. I just wonder how that alters how you form memories and "see" things in your mind. Its interesting because we look at things and associate them with other things so when we aren't actively looking at them we can "imagine" them. It would be interesting to know how he "imagines" things.

I guess with all of the other senses, like when you can smell a certain perfume or mama's lasagne and it takes you back to when you were a kid :)
It's not that hard to imagine actually. Just close your eyes for 20 minutes and try to do some stuff, talk to your friend, take a shower, DO NOT open your eyes for entirety of that 20 minutes. And there you go, your own memory deprived of visual impressions.

When I grew up I had a grandmother that was blind. it was around the time between 6 and 9 years old, and It took me a while to BELIEVE or comprehend if you will that she couldn't see. I loved her much and miss her. Your stories bring back so many great memories of her. She had a great sense of humor, like you do. She just played the cards she was dealt....but popped up that Joker whenever possible. Love you Tommy.

Tommy just makes me happy. i have chronic depression and anxiety but seeing his videos always makes me feel better. Tommy was born blind he's never seen anything. he missed out on life but he finds himself so happy. his smile and laugh fill me with hope and tell me that I can make it. thank you tommy, for everything you do
