Fallout has a lot of Eldritch horror in the world, for example multiple entities on the same level as old ones from Lovecraft exist in the Fallout world. You also have a immortal family, due to a artifact (suspected to be from the old ones) found before the great war.
What entities are you comparing to the old ones? Theres some very powerful creatures and ghosts, but I dont think we have anything at quite that level.

In 76, if I remember the lore correctly since it has been a while since I read the notes and listened to the holotapes, the Moth man was good, and some still are. The hostile ones are called something like "vengeful", or they are mutated/scorched and their cult is taken over by the interloper, which ties into the dunwich stuff.
I still remember my first encounter with a Deathclaw, then the humanoid centaurs and stuff like that had me shook, but man, so many more creepy crawlies in store for you to see
Fun fact: the most interesting aspect of Wendigos, is that after becoming one, the host develops an instantiable hunger for human flesh. No matter how often, or how much flesh they devour, they will never be rid of the gnawing hunger. In trying to satiate their hunger, they just became forever hungry. Becoming a Windigo is a fate worse than starving to death.
It's a crime they didn't mention ug-qualtoth. A literal eldritch deity worshipped by people before the war and after (some of whom were immortal) and they didn't even mention it in passing.
My favorite fallout theory has been that the vaults were created as a codeveloped plan by the U.S. government and the Zetan aliens. The government wanted the technology of the Zetans, and the Zetans wanted the resources of the earth and to study the many species.
Oh maybe there was a kind of deal between them. America thought they ruled the world so maybe they interacted with the Zetans, “Give us your technology and you can have resources here and here.” So the aliens just sped up the war more because they were taking so many resources.

The reason West Virginia has so many cryptids is due to the Appalachian mountains. They're one of the oldest parts of the world with massive cave systems in the mountains. I don't believe in every cryptid but the ones around those mountains... they're more likely than others.

Well, the appalachian mountain range, of which West Virginia is in/very very nearby was ancient when the Rocky's formed which leads a lot of people to suspect that ancient monsters still skulk the forests and mountains. Couple that with poorly identified animals/tracks/noises easily leads to a cryptid. Of course, the fact that you can find and fight the cryptids in this video means that they are not, in fact, cryptids. As the whole point of cryptids is that they "exist but cannot be found"
There are many things that aren’t covered, and other things that are important. As many comments have said, most of these creatures are from 76 and are unique cryptids, not typical monsters. On top of that, you still haven't learned about important Fallout factions or individuals like Mr. House, Frank Horrigan, President John Henry Eden, and so on.
What I love about the Aliens in FO is it confirms that Fallout Humans are literally HFY "Humanity Fuck Yeah". The Zetans are literally weaker in every way to Humans, I mean in a post-nuclear holocaust of the planet they launch literal land invasions and are repelled. 2 entire motherships were destroyed (1 captured) by a handful of humans who broke containment. Their weapons tech seems on par if not slightly better than the average energy weapon fielded by the Brotherhood and Enclave and their armor is in no way even slightly comparable to combat armor used by most Humans. Hi. I'm new here. Anyway, get this: those Mothman cultists were told a flood was coming, so they stood on the rooftops, right? Well, they died because the bombs fell that day. Then, almost 25 ish years later, a bunch of Raiders destroyed a nearby Dam, causing that same town to flood. The more you know!
53:10 in his original story, Ingrid Cold is a human from a different planet which is more advanced and peaceful. That all. He’s just here to check things out and try to give good advice. He’s also very religious and his planet is a communist utopia. It’s honestly just weird sci-fi that the author tried to pass off as real for some reason
Yeah, the wendigo that's depicted with antlers is inaccurate. Until Dawn and FO76 are one of the few pieces of media that has the accurate depiction. In fact, Until Dawn is praised for its accuracy.
NUX you need to react to the many awesome characters in Fallout such as Joshua Graham, Mr. House, Ulysses, Caesar, Frank Horrigan, John Henry Eden, Legate Lanius etc. to that point I would ask that you would react to Shoddycasts Storyteller series about all things fallout.

Just so you know the clop music was very distracting… I think I skipped some of it because it was louder than you… Take it as feedback you actual blue devil
Wi-nteku-wa or Owls, are wendigos, which is the French pronunciation, which is an evil spirit that will possess someone at thier rock-bottom, and forces them to be abominations against life, or a family of canabals that were eventually killed by a hero of the people, just depends on what tribe you ask, some only know of the European idea, because that is what was told to them, but what we see in most media is wrong, and in Fo76 they are kinda close, instead of a bad spirit, it is just the greedy hunger of humans mutating from radiation and something else, maybe F.E.V. or maybe some chinese chemical.
I think the fact that we get explanations on some only makes the unexplained ones more intriguing. If they were all explained or all uncertain it would take some of the impact out, I think.
29:32 "The Wendigos were bad enough before they were mutated by nuclear fallout." That is such an awesome concept just by itself. Imagine a world where all myths are true, and it had to deal with nuclear fallout when humanity dropped the bombs on each other.
There are SO many more things in Fallout than this, i hope you can find a video going over the rest… and the ones we know from lore but have yet to actually meet
12:00 one of these things is not like the others. The rest could be either a bear or an undiscovered species of great ape, the chupacabra however is described as a scaly cannid with quills along its spine, from most witness testimony, although it's apparent gait would lean more towards marsupial origins. That being said, it's probably just a stray dog with mange that's missing on of it's canine teeth.

Because Fallout 76 based in Appalachia, even though it have subpar gameplay Fallout 76 have solid Appalachian cryptids theme.
I'm not sure if this explains anything . But if you make a mothman egg omlette you get plus 5 charisma .
As I understand, you have to succumb to cannibalism first, THEN you become a wendigo.
This is correct
Also I hope you react to all the different creatures and enemy beings found in the Wasteland since this vid just covered cryptids in the Fallout World 👌
3:24 I was waiting for this moment
Gotta love how often Nux gets pretty clear info on something and then he just keeps on repeating it wrong, keeps asikg questions that were clearly anwered or makes assumptions that dont make any sense if he actually paid attention.
Anyways fun vid as always.
Nux needs to watch the eldritchian aspect of fallout like by far my favourite part of the lore
Can’t forget the master
Gotta check out "Villainpedia: The Master" and "Villainpedia: Frank Horrigan" by Ghostcharm got some real great lore for the final bosses of Fallout 1 & 2. Man those games are old and can be seen as slow but are lots of fun when you figure it out
At level 22 in fallout 76 I ran into the Ogua I had to run because I did not stand a hell of a chance only got away because I got cut off by a deathclaw. Somehow I ran around it and they started fighting from a distance I watched with my binoculars Neither could see me. I saw the damn thing kill the deathclaw by blowing the damn things head off
"Nobody says salutations"
Nux, one of your favorite characters does. 😂
So vaulttech is straight up in lore connected to an eldritch patron from LONG before the war, like they are straight up the straight outta the necronomicon Cthulian Cult members, if you have watched agents of shield, that cult is Far more tame and logical, and has less tentacles and dark deals.
Now the much more interesting real life version Wendigoon's doing
Nux needs to watch an actual video explaining every mutant in fallout cause this barely scratched the surface
Just so you know the clop music was very distracting… I think I skipped some of it because it was louder than you…
Take it as feedback you actual blue devil
One of my favorite parts of fallout is definitely the Zeitas and the Lovecraftian part of it hopefully he watches some on those.
When you hear the creature was human that was my great-uncle peter
Welcome to the rabbit hole Nux it just get more crazy frome here
i recommend n_orte's fallout iceberg videos
Ghostcharm has some videos on the Fallout villains that covers their whole story it’s great.
Dude i cant help but notice how much the smilling man and alistar have in common
I think the fact that we get explanations on some only makes the unexplained ones more intriguing. If they were all explained or all uncertain it would take some of the impact out, I think.
Never thought I’d see nix watch a uranium fever video
29:32 "The Wendigos were bad enough before they were mutated by nuclear fallout." That is such an awesome concept just by itself. Imagine a world where all myths are true, and it had to deal with nuclear fallout when humanity dropped the bombs on each other.
a strong alien in a floating wheelchair? Sounds like frieza.
"This implies there is some spiritual influence to it."
Just wait until you get to all the Dunwich stuff.
There are SO many more things in Fallout than this, i hope you can find a video going over the rest… and the ones we know from lore but have yet to actually meet
Lmao the Sqwank sounds like the prince who got turned into a pig on disenchanted "sad" lol
You should do a deep dive into math lore next, that would be great
He needs to watch a video about the lovecraftian Eldridge horrors of the Fallout universe
😂 28:59 “It’s not gay if you eat your bro” 😂
12:00 one of these things is not like the others.
The rest could be either a bear or an undiscovered species of great ape, the chupacabra however is described as a scaly cannid with quills along its spine, from most witness testimony, although it's apparent gait would lean more towards marsupial origins. That being said, it's probably just a stray dog with mange that's missing on of it's canine teeth.
Hey nux, dont know if youll see this, but id recommend looking into the dunwich and lovecraftian mysterys next! Its some of my favorite lore and would love for you to see it too!
hope he looks into the shoddycast fallout lore vids.
Noone tell him about Radking covering everything from power armor to junk food.
