An excellent performance by a couple of living legends and rock n roll pioneers! Robby is a good vocalist and easily one of the greatest guitar players in music history! John Densmore is also a brilliant musician and one of my all-time favorites on his respective instruments.

Legends. Robby, although he's not a celebrated guitarist when looking at rock & roll holistically, is absolutely brilliant to listen to. He manages to play a role where he sits back and lets everyone contribute whereas most bands of that era were about noisy guitars. But at the same time, when he comes to the forefront, he manages to weave a mellow, beautiful tune. He doesn't go for speedy, noisy, complicated solos, but he just manages to play something so eloquent that just works.

That's amazing! As a guitar player myself. I love Robby for that... No pick and because of his use of his fingers, it makes the notes that much more powerful... For instance "Not To Touch The Earth".. That song is the best Doors song EVER. But Robby's bends in that song along with Ray's carnival-esque organ playing and John's crazy shit amidst the chaos. The Doors were a band, not just Jim. Although, Jim made the frontman a frontman. People don't talk about the musicianship of the Doors enough...

Robby STILL HAS A THING FOR THAT BOTTLENECK I love it. I have been a huge doors fan for all of my 48 years. And the doors are not just Jim Morrison to me. In a lot of ways, and people who do not know as much about this band may not realize it, he was really kind of like a remote controlled car that John and Robbie and Ray controlled on stage with their instruments. Now I've always had a lot in common with him. My writing was very similar, scholarships etc. Unpredictability with a strong love for shock humor. But as cool as he was, they all needed each other. I love to see these two jamming like this and they still sound great. They still have that intangible it Factor

Robbie's flamenco, jazz and blues styles take up all of the space needed for the two to sound as one. This is a superb performance by the two Doors. Every element to this band was key.

Inventive, creative and quiet genius all wrapped up in a pretty package. Thanks guys, I came to the Doors music late in life. Sheltered by drugs and alcohol I had to get clean and sober to be able to listen and hear. Now I play my flute and happily report that I am no longer afraid of Jim Morrison.

Wow these guys still have it. Fantastic guitar playing by Robbie and John still captures the Doors atmosphere with his hypnotic beats. You guys are living legends. Thanks for this great video and thanks for all the amazing music you have given the world. There has never been a band like The Doors before or since. So unique. Such great guys I love you man. Jim and Ray would have been so proud of you guys. Much love

This is half the remaining living Doors Unplugged! And its great!
The Door music is of such quality that it can survive 50 years and the loss of two of the main members and it still sounds good!
Amazing show that I’m grateful someone recorded and uploaded to UA-cam.
    Thanks!

I discovered The Doors almost 30 years ago and have become my favorite band ever, is very difficult to explain to my friends why i love that band so much until they listen to when the music is over or light my fire, my wife and kids likes the band too now but the weird part of the story is that I’m from Dominican Republic, it looks like The Doors music is mesmerizing!!

I'm 34. Love the doors but never took the time to see who they are. Now I can't stop finding these new videos. Robby is so incredibly unique. I've never seen anyone who plays like him. Seeing these two together is awesome.

Normally I wouldn't want to see a reunion, they can be embarrassing, but this is kind of a revelation of how vital these guys were to the sound of the Doors. They kind of got lost in the shadow of Jim Morrison, but they are both really great musicians. Ray Manzarek was great too. The four of them were magic.
