I tune into your channel every day because I like how you get things done consistently and have fun while doing it your channel is not all over the place and you get things done especially on projects keep doing it and I'll keep watching
You did a good job, Bruce, on the pulling truck upgrades . Whatever shifter you go with, Bruce, get the lights with it.I like the way you're going with it .Appreciate you, buddy 👍
Bruce I think the name for this one should be the "Psychobilly Cadillac" cause you built it One Piece At A Time. I mean I like "Business Expense" but maybe just think about it. All in all looks good, truck has come a long way and I like where its going.
one of the trucks i drove was a 1980 peterbuilt cabover 400 cummins 13 speed with air ride i loved that truck it was copper metallic with 3 stripes and brown leather interior it was a huge step up from the 400 cummins 13 speed transtar i had far as the ride the transtar2 was dependiable though but it was rough riding on deadheads
My dad had a 77 352 with a 350 sc or bc 13spd. I'm just amazed because it had the exact same paint scheme from what you described. Copper metallic with a gold, light and dark brown strip? That was his anyway.
I love the chrome! I also love the lights. Your making the pulling truck exactly how I would. Not that it matters at all. Just saying I’m loving the changes to the pulling truck.
The pulling truck is looking better and better I like the vision u have for it thats my vision î picture it also the cab panels will make it look even better and the air breathers it will be sweet
Put " Business Expense" 🤔 in Blue lettering on the visor or across bumper... plus it's time to fix the exhaust by making it CUSTOM 2" bigger for POWER FLEX😉👍
'Business Expense' is looking great. I like the more traditional look you're doing with it. On a side note: I believe the 'Tratter Taxi' would look awesome if you paint the headlight housings blue to match the rest of the painted features. An awesome example of the painted housings is the battleship gray Pete right in front of the pulling truck in that bay.
Bruce, Go with the long shifter it will look sweet & weather your pullin or drivin can't go wrong with it! Add the lights too hell the more the merrier i always say!
im just a old late 70s and 80s trucker mostly cabovers i drove hauling gas tanker linseed oil malt o meal ceraal and stuff but I like your guys love of tractors semis and garden tractors.i built a old allis chalmers puller with 2 thundercat motors out of snowmobiles that thing pulled hard but spun to much im a old bodyman and painter now and someone wanted it so bad they gave me 2800 for it so i let it go 13 years ago t was a rush.I Had a showpaintjob on it im sure i sold it way to cheap but i was broke
Bro...get some Industrial Metal Grip Plate...that metal plating with the lines sticking up on it...check grip plate... for the side step and secure that...
On the shifter do whats practical for what your doing you know comfortable. This is mike we met in Nacogdoches texas. Hey maybe use blue collar to pull to a couple sled runs would be cool. Maybe put one of those units on blue collar that you put on the tractortaxi for over knight
Bruce that thing looks great. I am looking for a 1978 Mack with a cummins to turn into my welding rig. Right now I have a Ford Ranger xlt that I put a flatbed on it and am doing the spring over shock so that I can lift it enough to put a set of 38" super swampers. I have a V-6 in it right now and it runs really well. I miss living in Florida. I hate the cold. I lived in Siesta key while I went to school at USF for chemical engineering. After the plandemic I realized I hated everyone I worked with in big Pharma and they were out to get everyone. I decided after I recovered from getting run over by a F350 on my 1957 Panhead that I was going to do something I love. I started a small engine repair shop along with mobile welding and fabrication and also a machine shop. I will be back down with my 32 foot trailer and find a place in Tampa. I hope to get to catch up with you at the Flywheelers. We talked about going down with a few people from up here that do that sort of stuff.Take care brother.
That Hendrickson rubber ride would be good pulling truck suspension find that on a set of 46s and you would be in good shape. New way would be decent too that’s about the only heavy duty air ride
It was really disappointing watching Ryan struggle with how to interlock two wrenches… You’d think he’s worked there long enough now to pick up on some things!
You know I hope I'm wrong but the only problem I see with those new steps you're putting on is loading and unloading off the trailer. Are they going to be high enough and out of the way.
That bus is from a European manufacturer. Setra makes top class buses and are well known for their smooth ride. They say if a driver once drives a Setra he never wants to drive anything else
Great video bruce. On the shifter part that's up to you. But might look sweet with a stick between the bottom of the window and the middle part. I guess you say face high.
Business Expense lookin Awesome Bro 💯💯💯starting to look more like a classic semi again 😎😎…get rid of the hood stack and put some 7in Miter cut stacks and you’d be golden🤟🤟also maybe in the future make it like a 240WB other then that nice work brother! You/Tim is my top favorite channels hands down 🤙🤙🤙keep up the good work!
I watched a Mecum car auction last month there was a old Ford bronco the guy used a 10 gauge shot gun 1/2 caulked for a shifter that might be a idea for this totally awesome truck Bruce, but whatever you decide will be cool I'm sure.
I think it wood not only look but wood sound better with strate pipe stacks back on it ...im not a fan of the hood stack or the way it sounds but thats just my preference
Should make those cab “Sleeper” panels drop down pretty low in the front to cover up the air filter and fuel filter systems which will also help hide a lot of the hoses and electrical lines.
Now it's really looking good love to hear more lights and making it more original may pull better with bit more weight, at least what I heard, I'd say on the shifter dash high, have some custom tanks built between steps and front rear axle or have the tank big on top frame behind the cab like the old ptos idk either way your truck, your show and I love it man. Oh I almost forgot since you bought it, painted the fire wall few others, you gotta paint the bottom front fenders I think it's an eye sore but up to you
I like the hub covers! They give a finished look over the painted hubs. Does anyone make real chrome plated lug nuts for semis like Mcgard does for cars?
I once drove one of those Setra coaches, it had a big v10 Mercedes engine and boy was it a machine, it could beat cars off the line 😂 In fact it had that much power, I once drove it half an hour with the handbrake on without even noticing 😂😂
Dealing with all the electrical. A box cutter with a hook blade . U can slide the hook in insulation cut it open real easy . Just makes job real easy ! Broken back? I’ve dealt with the same thing for 37 yrs . No damn fun at all !
I believe that set of aluminum walking beam suspension you saw was probably made by Hendrikson, could be wrong on that though. Hendrikson is pretty well known for their walking beam suspension system.
Bruce knows the shxt on the engine for the old trucks that's my guy 🔥 I like the Johnny Cash joke 1 piece at a time your showing your age Bruce old boy,lol lol, why not get an old full tank from Tommy or Brian they must have one tank in the back of you Bruce?
It’s nice seeing what you’re doing with the truck it’s come very far and I wouldn’t worry about tool box clearance loading it up on the trailer they’re higher than what was on there and I know how you feel about the tap snapping off I snapped three off one time keep up the good work
I’m just here for the comments

If you pay for it you can do what you please to it. I just appreciate the chance to watch the progress. Thx Bruce.

I like that!
Hey Bruce I watch your channel from Sydney Australia, I think twin stacks on the pull truck would look super cool
It’s all looking good Bruce.
one of the trucks i drove was a 1980 peterbuilt cabover 400 cummins 13 speed with air ride i loved that truck it was copper metallic with 3 stripes and brown leather interior it was a huge step up from the 400 cummins 13 speed transtar i had far as the ride the transtar2 was dependiable though but it was rough riding on deadheads

Great video. Tall shifter with LED lights. Truck is looking like a peterbilt again. Now u need stock mirrors.
Love the Briscoe hat!!! Known chase for years
Tim Gentry and Bruce Wilson both at shtube at the same time would be great!
Put " Business Expense" 🤔 in Blue lettering on the visor or across bumper... plus it's time to fix the exhaust by making it CUSTOM 2" bigger for POWER FLEX😉👍

I agree
You should do the big rat fink style shifter ( tall shifter would be cool for a pulling truck )
Bro, I would do a short stick for the pullin truck. Might suck driving down the road, but you'll like it out there pulling
Isolate that braided air line from touching metal...ours rub through if we dont. Friendly tip. Great video as always.
Bruce, Go with the long shifter it will look sweet & weather your pullin or drivin can't go wrong with it! Add the lights too hell the more the merrier i always say!
That gray and black truck ooooo boy that thing look good.
Ryan trying the old double wrench trick😁
im just a old late 70s and 80s trucker mostly cabovers i drove hauling gas tanker linseed oil malt o meal ceraal and stuff but I like your guys love of tractors semis and garden tractors.i built a old allis chalmers puller with 2 thundercat motors out of snowmobiles that thing pulled hard but spun to much im a old bodyman and painter now and someone wanted it so bad they gave me 2800 for it so i let it go 13 years ago t was a rush.I Had a showpaintjob on it im sure i sold it way to cheap but i was broke

Should’ve brought some exhaust brackets and put a set of pipes, Would be nice to see all that smoke coming outta two stacks
Bruce that thing looks great. I am looking for a 1978 Mack with a cummins to turn into my welding rig. To bad he don't care for Blue Collar anymore. Blue Collar is a awesome ride
The intro was great lol that's how it always works for too.
That Hendrickson rubber ride would be good pulling truck suspension find that on a set of 46s and you would be in good shape. New way would be decent too that’s about the only heavy duty air ride
Opravdu Ti fandím ale chce to méně zbrklosti ! Jsi velký divoch . Ale opravdu přeji jen to nejlepší Tobě a Tvé rodině !👍👍👍
Big ole shifter in that boy. Through the top of the roof. Folks in the crowd should be able to see you bangin gears when you're rollin down the track.
A short shifter you get spinning and hopping that long shifter will be bouncing around and out of gear starting to look good 👍
use the short shifter that is what i used on my 1997 kenworth pull truck
I like when the shifter is just above the door. Still looks good and not obnoxious
It was really disappointing watching Ryan struggle with how to interlock two wrenches… You’d think he’s worked there long enough now to pick up on some things!
it wasn't disappointing to me, it was just hilarious. well maybe just a little disappointing
And the way Bruce put it on the first time was the wrong direction
He's ah kid he catch on eventually
I was pissing my self laughing
He is a chick that's why his winey voice😂
We have that exact fork lift as you were entering the wrecking yard.
This video 📹 is just cool 😎 👌 Bruce so educational for people who is willing to learn about trucks 🚚 bro
You know I hope I'm wrong but the only problem I see with those new steps you're putting on is loading and unloading off the trailer. Are they going to be high enough and out of the way.
That bus is from a European manufacturer. Setra makes top class buses and are well known for their smooth ride. They say if a driver once drives a Setra he never wants to drive anything else
hi great vid keep them up defo do the long shifter and put the lights in them
That long frame would look awesome with a old junk yard build truck/ratrod
Great video bruce. On the shifter part that's up to you. But might look sweet with a stick between the bottom of the window and the middle part. I guess you say face high.

Bruce I got a set of breathers but their for a 359 one has a pancake top the other has a Bonet and the bottom is a little rough on one of them
Short shifter and rounded classic single headlights would look ABSOLUTELY awesome on this truck!
All you need is a short 1/2” line coming out one hole going right back in to the other. You didn’t need the plate but
I watched a Mecum car auction last month there was a old Ford bronco the guy used a 10 gauge shot gun 1/2 caulked for a shifter that might be a idea for this totally awesome truck Bruce, but whatever you decide will be cool I'm sure.
I think it wood not only look but wood sound better with strate pipe stacks back on it ...im not a fan of the hood stack or the way it sounds but thats just my preference
The Grey lorry looks mint!
Nice air horns would look great on the pull truck.
I love that truck you boys rock
Should make those cab “Sleeper” panels drop down pretty low in the front to cover up the air filter and fuel filter systems which will also help hide a lot of the hoses and electrical lines.
I think one a little longer than the one in it would look good they do some amazing work at SH T
Oh I almost forgot since you bought it, painted the fire wall few others, you gotta paint the bottom front fenders I think it's an eye sore but up to you
If anything do a bed liner paint for underneath to help reduce rock chips and paint chips.
You should rebuild the Ford Semi truck
I say go with the short shifter. If you plan on doing the simi drag racing with it. I think rhe truck is coming to gether really nice
A shifter like the blue 389 would be really good on it, really like how it’s looking
its awesome youre going back to a more conventinal look. i vote tall shifter.
I love that fact that your making it look like a truck actually!
I like the hub covers! They give a finished look over the painted hubs. Does anyone make real chrome plated lug nuts for semis like Mcgard does for cars?
Yes I believe so. I think they would be a billet style so as far as chrome thats the best you'll get for it not being a plastic piece.
Put a stripper pole shifter in that unit with all the bells and whistles
If you feel like traveling they got a semi junkyard in Tomkinsville ky they have plenty of Pete's
You want a short shifter for pulling. The longer it is the more it works like a lever when bouncing around and knocks it out of gear.
Lookin good Bruce.
Question
Will the pulling truck still load onto trailer with its appendages hanging so low?
Sure you have it figured out but …
If you put the name in the cab panels you could also have blue leds to make it light up at night
My dad did that for his truck.
Looks good I do think you might have an issue putting it on the trailer with those low toolboxes though. I hope not
It needs some Chrome Stacks on it
I know nothing about pulling put if you have to shift while pulling you might want a shorter shifter. Just my thought.
I once drove one of those Setra coaches, it had a big v10 Mercedes engine and boy was it a machine, it could beat cars off the line 😂
In fact it had that much power, I once drove it half an hour with the handbrake on without even noticing 😂😂
Bruce "they wouldn't even know" yea until they go to crush the bus. Lol
plz put sum chrome stacks on it
I'd love to see a will it start video of that setra bus!!
Yall need put chrome window drops so it will match the visor 🤘
It's rough sometimes watching this guy work on stuff......
@George 😆
Well don't watch then, no one's forcing you...
@L Wilcox no really?
Leets see ur builds einstein
Dealing with all the electrical. A box cutter with a hook blade . U can slide the hook in insulation cut it open real easy . Just makes job real easy ! Broken back? I’ve dealt with the same thing for 37 yrs . No damn fun at all !
I would put the tall shifter. I think would look good in it
Didn't know Ryan did the voice for family guy ooo paper boy lol
I believe that set of aluminum walking beam suspension you saw was probably made by Hendrikson, could be wrong on that though. Hendrikson is pretty well known for their walking beam suspension system.
I think you are correct that is exactly what it was
Bruce knows the shxt on the engine for the old trucks that's my guy 🔥 I like the Johnny Cash joke 1 piece at a time your showing your age Bruce old boy,lol lol, why not get an old full tank from Tommy or Brian they must have one tank in the back of you Bruce?
Your pull truck will never be better looking than when you bought it oh, you're making sure that!
Hi dud wre is now the blue cabover.....i miss it
I like it and doing great Bruce you should make it your own
Try doing a light stick shift if possible
You had blue coller, its not the same its a K 100 but its still a cabover
You don't want a tall Shifter gonna be uncomfortable Or really short one Just put one of those Really cool Shifter knobs on
Great videos
keep the clips coming
Personally I think I would go with a shorter shifter just because It would be a little easier to handle when sled pulling
big tall lighted shifter for sure
Rib cage High shifter for the pulling truck.
It’s nice seeing what you’re doing with the truck it’s come very far and I wouldn’t worry about tool box clearance loading it up on the trailer they’re higher than what was on there and I know how you feel about the tap snapping off I snapped three off one time keep up the good work
now you need some chrome fenders for the pulling truck!!
I believe it is a Chalmers suspension
Newway suspension is found on ford LTL 9000 or older western star trucks
Looking good
Normal chrome shifter
I really hope you change out those headlights!
Cool video man 👍
gotta get that there led shifter boy
the way you looked at Ryan on that tiktok 🤣🤣
