I’ve learned over the years the hard way. When a truck has been sitting for awhile. You have nothing but problems. I just stay away from trucks sitting over a year and specially ones that people have been robbing parts off of.
Normally anyone getting into something like this already knows that it needs to be gone through top to bottom with essentially new everything. Anyone who thinks they are gonna be able to put some batteries in something that's been parked and run it down the road even if it was tip top and parked inside is a fool. To even attempt to run something that's been parked requires full air line and hydraulic line replacement thoroughly inspecting everything in the electrical system for corrosion n rodent damage tires brakes wheel seals bearings airbags suspension n steering components cooling system water pump hoses unless something that is "parked" gets a 100 or so miles a month put in it it's gonna need a ton of work before you can run it or you are only asking for endless headaches n breakdowns as all the stuff thay should hsvr been replaced starts to fail bit by bit piece by piece week by

Tim Gentry & Sons Trucking, i just think that anyone with a heart would not be able to walk right pass those cute ponies without being heart broken. 👈👺👀👀👍
I would just fix what needs fixing or replacing and make her a good reliable money-maker. Of course, it needs paint and maybe a few shiny goods, but I wouldn't go crazy with it.
Pretty sure he was sorry when it was moved out not in high he didn't want to see it go not hating I love em he is the best truck builder around here for sure
@@RichardThorburn hundred bucks a week if that. Anyone who is self employed drops that much behind the couch. As if having a baby is going to change much. 🥸
I can see a whole new channel. Gentry and sons “gave truck rescue”. About trucks that should have been for the scrap heap Brought back to life by Tim gentry and his GOAT crew!!
Hey Tim, what's Rob doing with the Ford LTL 9000 dump truck. The Pete looks nice, can't wait to see the finished product. Stay safe out there my friend and keep the videos coming and always travel safely catch you on the next one.
Tim I've been watching you since the stolen truck. The cabover is definite one that I would love to see be done. It's one of the things that's kept me watching your channel.
Get the new to you black Pete cleaned up and road ready. Work it for a few months put it through its paces on some good short runs and then start making it look good put some black fender on the front and a good detailing on the truck polish the tanks and steps put some of the old stacks you have laying around it will look really good the paint doesn’t look horrible. It’s a good straight truck id think about wrapping it.
Frame stretcher and put it to work I think you should frame stretch rooster and put a lift axle under and make it the Heaven Hall truck for the big boats and yets
I say you really go through that truck inside and out make it road worthy new tires lights front and back tune up and freshin up the motor and transmission and gears
completely fix up the inside now for a driver. gut it out new seats cabinets so he can drive in comfort and just clean up the outside. buff and polish it
Stretch it, take the Fahrenheit. Leave the Virginia, paint the top of the hood to match. And I think you'll have one nice truck if you put even if you put some pin strips on it.
Just like your black one with one door I love that this one is not an ultra cab.. I’m looking forward what you’re going do with this one. Love all what you do
Hey, Mr. Gentry, I love your videos. Keep doing it. Go with the heaters, bug it down. Keep doing what you're doing. By the way, this is John in Utah. Have a great day hope to see you guys real soon
Tim you just keep on doing what your doing . Things will work out for the best in the end don't worry what other people are saying. There are always going to be many people with various options lol. From Saskatchewan Canada
You have ALL the luck with trucks. You findcthr most GORGES ONES. Can't wait to see what you do to it. Damn I hate living in California, I want to just be able to buy a truck and not worry about a payment. Keep it up Tim and Gentry Family.
hopefully with your tow company you can start your own salvage yard business and body shop and repair business. Your son Braxton is so advanced at a young age you are never going to have to worry about him much and i am sure the others are very smart children as well. Brings back old memories of my father and i when i see you and Braxton together working and running the trucks together. My father is 94 now and still going strong. he was like a little 4 year old kid with a new toy last year when i let him drive my 4900 western star around in the yard.
Tim l absolutely LOVE your addiction it's the best one to have next to a Beautiful woman NEVER stop your addiction. Really like the New Pete for the company Yes it will be a good Truck for one of your drivers. The only thing about the Truck I wish it had a CAT 😺 MOTOR in it instead of a Detroit it would have been more like Roster then Roster would have had a little brother.
I am an old driver My favorite tuck I drove was a international eagle cabover it was a 9670 I'm 67 but would love to get back behind the wheel of a rig. I have been watching you and Braxston since you became a u tuber I have great respect for you
Put a couple of silver fenders on and a bumper , stacks and buff it out and roll on. Thats all the pete needs
Totally agree
You need that LTL dump truck sitting next to it!
That's what i was thinking too lol
Maybe one day you’ll finish a project until then I guess we’ll never know I’d hate bring westen waiting all this time I’d hope you build it better than what you built so far
More stuff to put in the Gentry Yard.
I glad he got someone to paint westons truck. Hope weston has someone go thru it when (if)he gets it back
Lol. 🤣🤣🤣
He will lucky if he gets anything at all
You do realize that West's truck was sent to the scrap heap?
@OOpSjm yeah but tim and crew are still touching it
ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY THAT TIM DOSE NOT KNOW WHAT HE IS DOING .
I like the old ford beside it
I actually like the graphics on there, very 80's.
Reminds me of Mario Kart
What ever you do! Just don't stretch it!!!
glad to see it being saved, that’s a mid roof cab i would throw a flat top bunk on it
Keep that paint scheme it's really old school cool
I'm a 20 year Air Force Vet. Glad to see the AF truck coming together.
What channel was you watching?
Get it road ready and put it to work don't worry about the fairings and how it looks. It's a hood and a Pete that is all that matters.

i have faith in yall getting all the trucks ready for the truck show. love ya
I would keep the paint scheme with a modest stretch and polished fenders
& wow, it sounds like the black Peterbilt from the movie!!
One of the best looking trucks you got is the red classic please get that truck going.
Get the black Peterbilt mechanically sound, get some good seats in it, and run it to make some money and earn its upgrades. Good purchase, sir.
I like that paint job on that truck I would leave it on there
Love the old school graphics. Take the faring off don’t look good or needed unless you haul a box trailer.
Keep the same paint theme for the 379 it is cool as hell!!

Give SH TUBE a call. Mr Rob will sell the 9000 dump truck if it belongs to them. REMEMBER EVERYTHING 4sale there for the rite price

I drove a Ford ltl when I went to Alberta in 2008 it was a 1982 with a 425b cat and a 15 overdrive it was a good truck
Id like to see you turn that pete into your own smokie and the bandit truck. Just need a trailer to match it
