I started to wonder how many times I've said/wrote these and other related plurals like oysters, persimmons, lobsters, fawns and etc. It turned out they were mostly actual words but the list goes on and on
Those nouns change their pronunciation AND THEIR SPELLING TOO when forming their plural, I mean, goose, mouse, tooth, foot, child, person, man and woman
Hello , please make a video about plural and singular nouns. Do we use plurals with some mountains and islands when we use them with the names of them and to imply different meanings ?. 🙂
When [referring to/talking about] a specific range of mountains, we typically use the plural form, like the Himalayan Mountains, the Andes, or the Rocky Mountains, because these names describe multiple peaks grouped together.
Great video! But: Fishes: More than one kind or species of fish, both 'fish' and 'fishes' are OK. The zodiac sign Pisces is also often referred to as fishes. Persons: Legales uses the plural person.
I ve always used "a footer" to talk about measures of objects, feet tall refering to ppl Lmao... I think that's the shortest and easiest way to sum it up all.

Love the Futurama thumbnail. 😂
In Europe, we use both, imperial and metric.
Boats, ships, and all kind of materials +++ are always imperial.
This guy is a robot! He hasn't blinked once! I couldn't put my "eyes" on what was wrong with him, but now I know.
