Quick correction, The Chameleon wasn't ever hired as a hitman by Snaptrap. He just had a vendetta against Kitty because she was the first agent to arrest him.

I remember T.U.F.F. Puppy, and I personally enjoyed it for what it was. Nothing spectacular, but it had a certain charm that drew me in. Snaptrap was easily my favorite character in the show because I found him to be a very entertaining villain to watch, in my opinion.
Jerry Trainor was easily the best part of the show though, right next to Daran Norris. Their performances were an absolute delight.
I definitely remember it I was always watching the cable and alot of Nick shows that folks never seen or remember I've seen them cause I was always watching Nick or cn or disney
I also like t.u.f.f puppy and snaptrap always felt like rattrap from word girl
I think the main problem with this show(and why most people don't really remember it) is because the main character wasn't really character driven or had anything desirable or relatable about him, he has it the easiest out of all the characters and constantly does dumb things and doesn't really have a desire for anything major, the character Chameleon was honestly more character driven then Dudley and I actually rooted for him more becuz he was a sympathetic character
I also like T.U.F.F. Puppy.

I really liked how Dudley and Kitty were written as partners and close friends but never as romantic interests. It’s incredibly rare on TV for a pair of close friends of the opposite sex to be allowed to just be best friends with no romance subplot.
How do you explain two examples, where Duddley had a nightmare of marrying Katswell to wake up from SnapTrap's attempt to keep Duddley asleep with Good Dreams, and they did a similar idea of Duddley and Katswell being married for when the Chameleon was stealing Wedding Gifts? Of course, both examples are of a negative outcome, but it certainly gave shippers ammo.

The main thing I remember about this show is looking at its fan wiki way back when and like every page had at least one entry shipping Dudley and Kitty.
"This episode proves that they are more than friends because they save each other from being frozen, etc."

I think one of the laster episodes they were posing for a fake wedding, until it was revealed that Keswick is a licensed officiator, meaning that they technically were married.

I loved that Dudley and Kitty never got together romantically and just stayed friends. It was nice to see especially when they acted as each other's wingmen
I feel the best way to describe Tuff Puppy for me is lost potential, they characters, for the most part, we’re pretty interesting and entertaining and I feel with a little more time the series could’ve reached an actually satisfying ending, but sadly as with most canceled shows we will never get to see what that ending may look like
Still better than how The Fairly OddParents ended, though.
One of the clever moments of the show was when Dudley and Snaptrap are under witness protection from a guy called The Weasel. So naturally, they had to have The Chief (who as mentioned is voices by Daran Norris) say, "Weve got to find a way to catch The Weasel." And I immediately thought, wow, I never thought I'd hear him say that outside of Ned's Declassified
I remember enjoying this show when it was airing. Especially the art style and its voice talents.

Out of all the Butch Hartman cartoons I watched as a kid (aka Tuff Puppy, Danny Phantom and Fairly Oddparents), Tuff Puppy is the one I remember the least. I just remember Jerry Trainor being the voice actor of Dudley Puppy.
I honestly like Butch Hartman's animation it's kinda nostalgic sometimes.
@@YakkoWarnerTower Yet it's sad that Butch show his true color that everyone hates him. As much as I like his work, he's pretty much of a fraud due to the Oaxis scandal. He's not as close as John K, but what he did is a sham.

I just realized she doesn’t voice anyone in Spongebob. I mean she did appear in a scene on the 20th anniversary and she voiced 2 characters in the spin-off, but that doesn’t count.
She also voiced Emily Elizabeth in Clifford the Big Red Dog.

I loved Tuff Puppy it was one of those shows I had to sit down and binge a couple episodes before I fully got into it also once you notice Jerry Trainer's voice it's a deal breaker.
I kinda agree with you, as much as I love Jerry Trainor, somehow his voice didn't fit a character as energetic as Dudley when on paper is a match made on heaven.
1 of the things that I absolutely love about the show is Dudley & Kitty's brother-sister relationship.
Yeah, and it's also good that they got their own separate love interests instead of each other.

I really enjoyed TUFF Puppy! It was a fun show. It wasn't reinventing the wheel but it was fun a watch, classic cartoon comedy, the characters were fun. I wasn't obsessed but I watched it when it was on. A nice casual cartoon, ya know?
I’d even argue that TUFF Puppy is the only good Butch Hartman cartoon from beginning to end.
My favorite characters from T.U.F.F Puppy are Keswick, The Chief, Snaptrap, Bird Brain and The Chameleon.
I liked TUFF Puppy, I just felt like it needed more time in the oven to be a great show, I felt like there wasn’t enough scenarios or characters that could’ve made the episodes more interesting.

I do agree that the show's ending made it feel incomplete in a way. I had been following TUFF Puppy since 2012 and it did inspire me to do some fanart of the characters as well as fan characters that some people on DeviantArt had made and have been writing my own stories on how this series could have continued on. I personally think there were some things planned that never made it due to the show ending a lot earlier than intended. As far as I know, I think the popularity of the show was good and even today it is as fan art of the show is still being made today.
One character in particular that I didn't like so much was Eric since lots of people including myself ship Dudley and Kitty. Sure the show just says that they are partners in crime-fighting and not partners, period. But Kitty's relationship with Dudley is much stronger than with Eric, at least from what we've seen. I also feel as though there was going to be a proper finale with Eric being revealed as the hidden true villain of the series and honestly, I would have liked to see that. Although there is one person in particular who is pro-KittyXEric and anti-KittyXDudley who I had to block for some time for not respecting my opinion. He thinks that Eric was too nice to be a villain, but I think that is only because we never found out who he really was.
TUFF Puppy was also what had gotten me to write my own fanfiction series that is meant to take place in the same world as TUFF Puppy but takes elements from Power Rangers and Super Sentai called Super Animal Squadron. I had started that series with Woodland Squadron: Foresger in 2015 and since then would bring out a new storyline yearly once the last story had come to a conclusion, which I did bring in proper conclusions to each of those series without leaving too many questions. I even went as far as having the lead male and lead female protagonists of Foresger had a semi-immediate romance and didn't bring in a character like Eric to get in the way of that. Although that isn't to say I won't do that for a future series, I just might, although maybe not for the lead protagonist couple, but with some other couple in the series.
I remember this show. One of my first thoughts from when it was airing was "Wait, is that Daphne's voice?" in regards to Kitty Katswell. That's about all I remember from it.
My only thoughts on the show now are "Yes, yes it was Grey DeLisle voicing Kitty". Maybe my Scooby-Doo obsession was/is good for something after all.

This show brings back good memories. I want to associate it with my late grandmother, since some 10+ years ago I spent the night and this was on for a little bit. She fell asleep 🤣 but I just specifically remember watching this and eating a PB&J with some chicken noodle soup from a can. It all tasted better that night.

Glad you finally came around to this one. I've kinda said my piece on this already, but while I do enjoy a good handful of episodes that actually work with the spy formula it originally was set out for, most of the time just felt like shoehorning in humor. I feel there should've been a better balance between comedy and action with this show, but for what it is, I like it well enough. 👌

I absolutely love T.U.F.F Puppy. The villains were easily the best part of the show for me. I do wish we got a better ending for the show, though. There were a lot of stories that could’ve been done.
Honestly, this show needs some work, but, honestly, is just fun. It’s not trying to take itself too seriously and just wants to make the viewer laugh.
Some things I enjoyed where the fact that Snaptrap and Dudley where basically the same person on different sides, the fact that Dudley and the Chameleon can get along despite being enemies, Ollie not being so bad despite being a Villain, and Etc.

So much in fact back then whenever I came home from middle school, I always checked and re-checked the TV guide to see if there are any upcoming episodes. I’m an adult now and I still love the show to this day along with a friend of mine who wants to work on a fan project with me to potentially revive the series.

I liked the show, most of the characters were very energetic and for me unforgettable.
I remember enjoying the show, even if not actively hunting it out. at it's air time, it was often the lesser poison of the options in my mind, and i grew to enjoy the show as one of the few things worth watching. At the same time, i never found it as anything special outside its airing conditions. The biggest problem i can remember with the show is getting mostly condemned to a side channel, which of course was going to hurt ratings. From memory, the only time it was on the main channel was for premiers, with the reruns that made up the longevity of the show being on the side channel.

Honestly this series was one of my favorites. The style, the voice cast, the characters, the setting. It all just gave me something fun to watch. Also when I was around five, one of my favorite shows was special agent O.S.O. I’m a bit of a sucker for spy shows. Also it wasn’t all serious. It really was a unique idea and I loved the fact the characters had this charm to them. It was my favorite show next to fairly odd parents for sure.
