30k for a reliable 600 ponies to whip everyday is pretty good. Nice work guys, I really enjoyed and appreciated watching your build come together... now is the time to convince the bank manger for a loan. 🤠
Awesome! Thank you for your feedback!! much appreciated, definatelly paid off now time to enjoy! 👍
Excellent work. Inspirational to be sure.
Thank you kindly! Really appreciate it!!
Great work guys! And really enjoyed this series and actually wanted more videos lol. This video will help me start my build soon and hope you wouldn't mind if I could ask you a few questions throughout it?
Thank you my man! Glad you enjoyed! Deffinatelly more Supra videos coming soon, just being a self funded build gets a little difficult with casual job salary 😂
thanks so much for this detail, much appreciated and will help with my build
Thank you for watching!! Glad to help! Good luck with your build, will be deffinately worth it once its done
Hey guys, loved the series, I’m torn between either a t56 like you guys did or the r154, I’m also planning on 600HP, how’s the mccloud clutch feel?
Hey man glad you enjoyed it!! T56 is so good, we can't fault it at all, it takes whatever we've thrown at it with ease. The r154 is also another great and cost effective option, heaps of supras are running with it also! The clutch feels great and has held up very well, although the last time we took the Supra to the drag strip we burnt it by slippinh it too hard on the start line. So I'd maybe recommend going 1 step higher than the standard clutch mccloud kit we went for.
@@AutoMotiv8ed awesome cheers for the info, how’s the ratio on the gears? Like is first gear useless? and what’s highway cruising rpm’s? Cause on the w58 it’s just under 3k RPMs
Hey guys awesome video! How many hrs labour went into the build?? How much more do you think I would have to factor in paying someone to do all the work on top of 30k for all the parts
thanks for the support! lots and lots of hours, in saying that, we mainly worked on it on week nights and weekends. i would say this could all be done in a couple of weeks, and depending on labour costs from your local workshop, cant really put a price on it..
i’m no expert but my suggestion would be if you’re going to pay a shop to do all the work and not do anything yourself, you would be far better off buying a gte and getting it swapped by the shop. you’ll probably end up with the same result and for a very similar price.
LOVING THE VIDS also is the heat wrap on the exhaust mani n dump worth it
Thank you my man!! We just wrapped it for peice of mind, and to keep heat as low as possible
Any real pain installing the Golebys cam trigger kit? Just purchased mine and wondering what to look for?
main thing you have to make sure is you have a gte oil pump so you can read crank trigger, other than that you should be all good
@@AutoMotiv8ed bought that first! Thanks!
What GR t56 kit did you end up getting?
Hey Scott we ended up going with the GR700 kit
But i reccomend the new GR700A, with the cast bellhouding. wasn't available when we purchased ours though 😩
Did you have sponsor for that build or have you self pay everything for the build ?
Wish we had a sponsor... everything is self funded from our day jobs, but one day hoping someone comes on bored for sponsor as it gets hard at times to fund all our builds
What injectors did you guys end up going with?
we went with bosch 1000cc injectors from golbeys parts
www.golebysparts.com.au/collections/2jz/products/2jzge-non-vvti-bosch-1000cc-kit-980-1150cc-fits-factory-rail
Damn seems like y'all got ripped off... It's way over priced parts and labor
