@shottti475 I agree!!! It would look amazing
The caps are for the BPV ports on the BOV and Intake. You’ll only need those if you intend on fully venting to atmosphere which you don’t considering how the GFB BOV was initially set up for 50/50.
@@khau.cr2 thanks for the info! I just realized at the end of the install but unfortunately forgot to include that info in the video. If I’m not mistaken I believe it’s only safe to go full vent to atmosphere if you have the piersberg solenoid installed right?
@ It shouldn’t matter regardless of how it’s configured, but the Pierburg solenoid is heavily considered as part of the BOV installation because it’s more robust, precise, and quick to react which makes it more suited for aftermarket BOVs (like the HKS) than the OEM solenoid. Sometimes, a car might pull a CEL from using an aftermarket BOV, but the GFB BOV doesn’t really need one if you just want sound. For full functionality, I would recommend installing the Pierburg solenoid.
For the piersberg solenoid, will the car run fine or will you need to be tuned?
I’m new to all this, used to have a 20’ GT, now I’ve got a 24’.
I’m just tryna figure out what I should start getting etc.
@@btchidz Installing the solenoid does not require a tune.
@ awesome thanks for the info! I think that’s the next mod for my friend. I’ll probably install that for him as well
Carnal does it fit the 2024 forte gt ??
@@joahangallardo4802 yes it does!
Sir Petrol Juice, is this the best one to get you think?
I’ve seen a couple of these “BOV” on Panda Motorworks and they confuse me lol.
@@btchidz There are so many available it can get confusing lol. I can only speak for this company GFB and it seems to be an amazing quality BOV with lots of adjustment and great sound. Since it’s hybrid, it’s configurable in terms of the venting. Adjusting to “vent to atmosphere” will create more whoosh sound vs adjusting to full circulation will create less whoosh sound.
@@PetrolJuice thank you man!
Keep up the great work 🫡💪
@@btchidz thanks! And thank you for watching!
will all these mods work on the AUTO TRANS
@@Alxxcpc yes they will!
I drive the 6spd and there was a CEL issue with these, but I'm hoping it was corrected.
@@jch00lig4n damn, I only heard that happens if you run full vent to atmosphere since it’s not good for the turbo without proper modifications
I drive my 22' GT2 Full Atmosphere with the adjustment screw about two turns clockwise and run in Smart mode. Also run a Racechip GTS on setting 5
