    Now go get a Spectre intake 45* intake tube to replace the intake silencer/baffle just before the turbo inlet. Or get a full intake.
    Nice how to vid 👍🏼

      Thanks for your comment! I look forward to do that mod, waiting for the right moment to change the whole intake system including the turbo inlet silencer.

    I tried doing mine today and messed up pretty badly and don’t know what to do.. I got 2 bolts off but the one that might be hard for everyone which is in between all the plastics and frame if that’s what it is. Long story short I ended up stripping that bolt trying to loosen it and getting it out but nothing. Just ended up putting everything back to how it was and thats that. Please any guidance would be appreciated!!

      I’m sorry to hear that! If the bolt got stripped, there are ways to take it out, but you should have replacement bolts in hand because that one might no longer work. Those bolts are very tight, is important to have the right size allen wrench and preferably the T type like the ones I included the link for in the description.

      @harrisq2046 take out the rubber hood stopper above the screw/on top of plastic and u can stick a long Allen key down into it and grab top with some channel locks & turn just enough to get it loose then twist rest of the way with your fingers. Had this issue myself til I remembered to remove stopper. Hope this helps!

    How long was the ratchet extension you used to get to the inner, hard to reach screw? And would you advise a flexible extension or a rigid one for that step? Thanks!!

      Hi, I didn’t have the right tools for that part of the process, I had to use creativity applying leverage to my small allen with an adjustable wrench. But I recommend more adequate tools in the description of the video. I recommend a rigid one

      Here’s the Amazon link to the recommended allen set.

    Can’t u just disconnect the Mass Flow Sensor during the progress then reconnect it when u are done?

    • @ALLVEHICLEOWNERS
      @ALLVEHICLEOWNERS  7 місяців тому

      I didn’t disconnect it, but I have seen comments of people that have disconnected it during installation. The important part is to make sure you take picture of the correct orientation before so you have a reference when you install back. Also ensure that the wiring connector is put back in correctly.

      My man that HOT air intake definitely lost you some power

    • @ALLVEHICLEOWNERS
      @ALLVEHICLEOWNERS  8 місяців тому

      Not really, the car still feels powerful enough. I kept the air intake guide that brings air from the front to where the intake filter seats. I don't feel like there's any heat soak during winter and cooler months, might be a different story during summer.

    its the install the same for the 23 gt k5?

    • @ALLVEHICLEOWNERS
      @ALLVEHICLEOWNERS  7 місяців тому

      The install I show is only for the EX, GTLine and lower trims with the 1.6T engine. It doesn’t apply for the 2.5T GT

    The GT line intake is the exact same one used on the GT model with the 2.5T with 290hp and you can simply unhook the diverter tube and cap the hole on the intake for the same BOV effect. No need to spend money on these name brand companies.

      I tried that first, adding a BOV does improve the sound and loudness of the turbo blow off

      @ I added a BOV trumpet to the tube and it’s louder than the spacer
