Bro u got a gem!!! Probably stole that blaster!! soon as I saw that carb wasn’t tapped & the oil block off was still there! You won bro!
I got a good deal on it. I have a few other projects I’m working on at the moment also. Thanks for watching!
I've always loved the Blaster and remember a friend having one back in the late '90s. I had a Honda 300 and difficulties keeping up with him.
Nice work! Looks great. And you didn’t have to completely disassemble the bike and have everything powder coated.
Well done
Great job man. But that isn’t a 2001. With the updated front end and hydraulic brakes it’s a 2003-2006 model. Great job on it tho and great video!
Dang that is nice, I have a blaster it has been sitting it starts up and runs but it won’t stay idle I have to keep pushing the gas lever if not it will shut off
@@ApacheGarage I open up the carb learning from you’re videos, it was not dirty at all it was dry the jet was not dirty also, I’m not sure why but it will idle if I unscrew the bolt where fuel comes out from carb. I will try the Idle screw tomorrow
Since it has full disk brakes and the light in the nose cone its a 03 or newer frame but it looks like the right engine cover or hole engine is 02 older
Holy shit that thing has got a ton of piston slap…. Are u gunna throw a top-end on it??
Crazy how you don’t got more subs?
Always clean ur machines before you work on them makes it alot easier
It was easier for me to make this one run so I can drive it all the way around to clean it
hey man great video but try wd 40 when you steal wool the plastics because its a penetrant and removes oxidation and its shines them up at the same time defiantly give it a try
I dunno why people do stock suspension on these. They look awesome widen out wit +4 swing arm and a banshee axel with longer a arms
Great transformation, what are you using on the plastics what pad on the buffer ? I want to shine my Honda atc plastic back
@@ApacheGarage what brand wax ? I have tried using some chemical on my bike but I was not satisfied.
Sweet ride it will run alot better without that air box lid on it
They actually will run better and make a little more power without the lid, but you need to bump up the main to compensate for the extra airflow.
Spinning your wheels with that gas tank
So my blaster had its oil box deleted..but now I have a hole in the side of my motor..is there a way to cover it
No it was missing the oil line from the tors delete.. it ran from the tors ..they actually make a cover for that
that actually is not a 2001 with the headlight being into the wiring harness that would be a 2003-2006
looks so much better, but the motor dont sound the best at all.11:39 and then some.to much rattle.maybe piston wrist pin, crank bearings, etc.there is something not happy in your motor.then again at 12:07 and then some.2 strokes are not quit for sure but there is something else make to much noise!!!
How much did you paid for the blaster ?
I paid $100 for the blaster and I spent $150 in parts. Total came out to $250 spent
First step: clean the vehicle for easier work.
No hate towards you specifically I see other people do it too
I made it run first so I can take it to the front of my house easier and not struggle
It’s a 2005
I remember I messaged up on the title of the video but if I remember correctly it was an 03
That's not a 2001
I know I messed up on the title but I just left it like that the video did pretty good.
Thanks for watching. I will be posting quads for sale on my instagram if you want to purchase. Instagram link in description.
Thanks I live in 🇵🇹
You sell a lot of bikes? I’m looking for a kx250 of a cr250 4 stroke
How much you charge bro I need a restore asap
