    Great video! Oral thrush, candida albicans over grows and causes swelling of the nasal passage, usually it feeds off bad carbs and sugar, I had it caused by the mouth breathing as it is also physical muscle memory issue, you can unblock it by keeping breathing through it as it changes and the holes get bigger, no products needed really, practice breathing through it all day until you faces changes back to the human shape and holes get bigger. it is usually caused by always looking at screens and phones, especially in this day and age, shock horror lol thanks for the info.

    First... clearing nose congestion always...( Doing neti most of the time.. sometimes steaming ..)
    Starting putting tape on my mouth . Yeah i know it's funny but best decision of my life.. improved my sleep quality plus ...less dry mouth issue..
    ( Finally help of .. frequencies and subliminals)
    Improving lifestyle..
    Like stopping habits which increase nasal congestion or swelling..like late night sleeping.. dairy product or cold stuff .

    How myofascial therapy helps in muscle tension dysphonia? Do you have some tips regarding it? Btw i am not a totally dysphonic patient but may have a tad bit of that issue which has developed over the years for poor singing techniques.My vocal therapists here have ruled out any kind of physical damage by means of tests and assessment sessions but i have a tremendous tension specially right sided which do involve a congested breathing issue (unilateral;right nasal passage)
    Thanks for ur uploads.

    To unblock my nose I gently squeeze the ends of my nostrils and it opens the airways. Stimulating the nerves seems to open the airway for some reason. I only need to do this occasionally. Sometimes it lasts for days or weeks. I had one nostril blocked and after doing this it is more open than the other. It works for me. It could work the same way as reflexology, I do not know.

  • @JusBidniss

    Sometime the reason people don't get enough air through their nose is due to 'swollen turbinates'. The nose's bony divider (septum) has 3 ridges in each nostril that run front to back, and which are covered by fleshy nasal lining. With a cold or allergies, this lining gets swollen, but sometimes it's swollen all or most of the time without these conditions. Focusing on breathing through your nose for longer periods, or using a nasal CPAP mask, can help shrink this tissue and improve the airflow. If this does not work, your doctor may recommend surgery, where an RF probe is inserted into this lining, heating it and turning part of it into smaller-volume scar tissue (mine once suggested this procedure). In my case, a CPAP 'nasal pillow' mask did the trick, and I can now breath through my nose for long periods. However, I'm still a mouth breather when I sleep due to the lifetime habit, so to use my nasal mask, I have to use a chin strap and tape my lips. I came here hoping to learn how to stop my mouth breathing without all that contraption, because my nasal pillow mask really is the most comfortable and least painful I've found. A full face mask causes me facial and front sinus pain, plus leaks a lot due to the shape of my face. I've tried the tongue-on-the-roof-of-the-mouth thing, to no avail so far -- I always wake up with the CPAP air pressure blowing out of my dry-as-the-Sahara mouth.

    • @wilson7262
      @wilson7262 Рік тому

      I’m afraid a CPAP mask does not directly address the problem, surgery is the only way. And as to break the habit of sleep mouth breathing, once surgery is completed and patient recovered, used duct tape to tape the mouth shut at night to encourage nose breathing. This is important as the most important time to make breath is when sleeping

      Did you still use cpap...and your turbinates are shrink now???...please reply my father is having same problem

    • @JusBidniss
      @JusBidniss 6 місяців тому

      @@preetimittal2123 CPAP did seem to help me overcome my swollen turbinate problem. The positive air pressure and the use of a nasal-only mask choice helped enough air flow past to keep down my nightly incidents of apneic episodes.
      I'm not sure I could say how much my turbinates have shrunk, and I never got such a measurement from my doctor. I used to suffer from a lot of sinus headaches back then, partly due to the swollen turbinates. I have a lot fewer sinus headaches now, usually only during colds and such.
      So overall, I'd highly recommend CPAP, and a nasal mask in particular, assuming escaping air from the mouth can be controlled.

    If I just sit down I can do it, if I walk/run I need so much air I can't(I get dizzy if I try). I can't breathe through my right side at all, a little bit through left. I wonder if my voice is extremely nasal because of that. As a kid I'd keep my tongue in between my teeth, not anymore though but it was hard to get rid of that habit.

      Don't try it, get your nose checked, if you have a deviated nasal septum, it's a structural issue, your nose isn't giving you enough air, so you must breathe with your mouth, no amount of mewing will help that, only getting surgery would, sometimes even chiropractic readjustment works.
      Trying too hard to breathe through your nose despite feeling suffocated will affect your oxygen levels.

    I tried for a while to breathe only from the nose and I was focused a lot on closing the mouth ... but many times I feel uncomfortable and that the mouth needs to be opened to get more air ... Usually the mouth opens automatically when there is no air ... but I have to constantly open in a way Being independent of the mouth has always been automatic ... How do I change the habit of the brain stopping being aware of breathing and mouth for the restoration of the automaton?

    My tests for plugged-up nose problems were neg. no COPD, no asthma. now it seems like a bad habit. the mouth is dry and I pack water all the time. I have started snorting the gunk out of my nasal passages more often and get a lot of goop and phlegm out which seems to help a lot. another tech told me that I have shallow breathing and need to do breathing exercises to increase my lung capacity because I don't take enough air thru the nose so consequently have to mouth breath to get more air. but then again I am 75. when my mouth is closed my tongue always is in contract with the roof of my mouth, ??? thanks anyway

    Do you have any recommendations for my 6 week old? When he is sleeping I hold his jaw up to close his mouth, I make sure he’s breathing through nose of course. He had a tongue tie revision 3 weeks ago but is still a bit tight. He has a dome shaped palate, exclusively breastfed. Don’t want him to have issues later but local practitioners eg. dentist and pediatricians look at me like I’m crazy.. also any recommendations on palate shaping besides just breastfeeding.

    There are some of us that have tried a plethora of allergy tests, neti pots, sinugators, medication and dietary changes all our lives and our sinuses are still completely swollen and blocked 90% of the time, tight as a drum. For some of us, nothing works and we just have to do the best we can.
