I just bought one, it’s quite a cool car to be fair. Gearbox is whining as they do, drives alright and I paid £650 for it with the bola 19 inch wheels on it and 4 brand new tyres. It’s also got a Cortney induction pipe and massive air filter and a powerflow exhaust on it. It’s very loud!
You ever tried taking on an EP3 civic type R? How much did the map cost? 220 is actually sick numbers from a 1.6 Sri turbo but wondering whether it could keep up with a focus ST225
I haven’t mate I’ve had a 2.0 litre Clio rs thoe 200bhp and that was when my car was standard after the map the car pulls like crazy the focus st 225 I wouldn’t mind giving a go
@@rhyshill2197 is the Astra faster than the clio in a straight line? ST225 are proper iconic beasts defo need to get on it before prices go up too much
Hi mate, did you install a blank for the old recirculated valve before installing the dump valve? Also any issues like warning lights come up after the valve installed?
@@rhyshill2197 in the video yours still sounded pretty loud so wanted mine to sound similar to that! did you just t-piece the dump valve vacuum line to the same line as the recirculating one?
I used the vacuum line behind the engine but from the turbo area shouldn’t be a problem and yes was still pretty loud but with a cone filter sounds epic

I left the recirculating valve in didn’t cause any issues no lights would of got a louder woosh from the dump valve if blanked thoe
