A skid steer with a bucket and forks would be more worth it imo
I’d say skid steer for flexibility, can also move trucks around with it.
I was ganna say the same at the very least something with a bucket for system
Definitely a skid steer!!!
Greg just set a record for UA-cam. I've never seen a 19 minute long commercial, while weaving in half a dozen other different commercials.
Take care not to loose sight of your mission Greg . Too many ( sponsored ) products will cost you
cheifbob1 whole video was a commercial
I'd look into a compact tractor with a 3 pt and quick release bucket and forks. Much more useful than a forklift. And can run it off road aswell.
Trev3813 , I agree , I just wrote something similar.
I'd say skid loader over tractor. Compact tractors can't lift much at all.
I've picked up so pretty heavy shit with a compact. Plus all the attachments make it more useful and user friendly than a skid loader.
@@Trev3813 I looked up the operating capacity of a kubota compact tractor loader, its 827lbs. A cummins 6.7 engine weighs over a 1000lbs dry. Most skid loaders can operate well over 2000lbs. We have over 20 attachments for our skid loader that has hydraulic locking pins. It doesn't get any more easy than that.
I don't know how small of a tractor you were looking at, but the few I've used have picked up entire engine/tranny/case combos. Each to their own.
Greg finish a project 😂😂
I'd go with a skid loader man get a lot more use out of it!!
Charles Vondenhuevel exactly!
I can’t wait to see Andy in the vids. He always cracks me up!
Get a skid steer so you can grade the gravel in your parking lot too when needed
Lots of rambling on this one lol I skipped quite a bit not gonna lie
Adiel Cerriteño me too lol
felt like just product placement for the whole video.
That’s every single video now.. there’s like 7 unfinished projects..
Pretty sure Gregg's brain is like that of a cat squirrel hybrid that either ran up the stairs or tree and forgot why.
I’ve stopped watching so much because he rambles on and on almost every vid
I like your videos but let’s be honest this whole thing was basically one big ad.
It was a youtube informercial. But wait! There's more! (on instagram)
The dually needs to get ceramic coated
You could also get a two post lift to put stuff on. You would have to move stuff in the barn to use it but you could also use to lift vehicle.
30-40 hp kubota compact tractor for the win. 🙌
Welcome to Kentucky, don’t like the weather just stay it changes seasons every other day. Love the D200 build.
I love that you have a friends of coal tag. As a former coal miner it makes me proud. I wish I could get one here in SC
Awesome awesome video Greg A, the wind is bad here in WV too lol, I think we’re getting y’all’s left over wind. Finally some Dually content, been awhile since the Dually has showed itself on the channel. Different Compound turbos from Fleece would be sweet it’s already the ultimate tow rig, can’t imagine much more of anything to come to the Dually, unless you wanna go to a Eaton-Fuller 10 speed manual transmission, then you’d be talkin some tow power. But the Dually is also double duty the family rig for going to the races and stuff, best to keep it as is.
I ran Amsoil 15-40 diesel and marine in my Cummins it had 450000km plus on it changed the oil once a year oil looked new still with 25000km and it still looked gold
What's an oil change my 350 has a self changing system. All I have to do is top it off
I feel like my 318 has the same system lol the drain plug is the remnants of the front main seal
No def but getin about 2 tanks per quart!
Lol fuckin hillarious I love it!!! U know wat Chevrolet stands for right? CHEAP HEAP EVERY VALVE RATTLES OIL LEAKS EVERY TIME!!!!! I MEAN AT LEAST U HAVE CONSTANT CORROSION CONTROL UNDERNEATH UR TRUCK NO RUST HERE ITS A FUCKIN OIL SLICK UNDERNEATH!!! JUST LIKE THE EXXON VALDEZ!!!
@@misconceptionindustries2968 no my truck has rust enough to where I don't care to wash it at all
Same
Just stopped by the local amsoil for the first time and got the full fluid change for the truck. The truck loves the regular heavy duty oil much better over Rotella obviously and the filters are top notch. I'll be buying amsoil for everything from now on
Thanks to Greg I’ve been running the black market fuel filter set up too. Probably one of the best upgrades I’ve done so far. But I had mine powder coated so it doesn’t stand out like neon lights on a civic
But neon underglow was legit on civics bro!!!
Carter Scott yea back when fast and furious franchise was all about the street racing scene, not mission impossible lol
Lol Tokyo Drift for life!!!
Lotta people say skidsteer or ctl with forks but I have three in my shop and if I wasnt a landscaper i'd sell them all for a forklift in a heartbeat lol. yeah it's nice outside but unless you have a need for a machine just get the forklift. Way more maneuverable. Forks on a bobcat move up and down in an arc and can tilt. On a forklift they move striaght up and down, forward and back, left and right, and tilt. You can lift the same weight in a smaller footprint with a forklift.
Bringing some of the OG style music back
You should plant some trees at the front edge of your property by the road. They would help break the wind, block some road noise, and give you a bit of privacy
I know a guy that ran amsoil in his 2000 24v he would go 50000miles on his oil changes with amsoil bypass kit. I had to reseal the front cover on it at 264000miles. It was the cleanest engine I ever seen in side no joke.
Well this was a cool infomercial
Id get a small tractor with front end loader so you could use it for multiple purposes different attachments etc. Fork lift would kinda only be for one reason and they don't work well off payment lol
Big dually hauling the little bumper pull haha. I have a 2 axle bumper pull. Truck makes it look small. I also own a 2018 dodge 3500 dually. Big truck. Stock yes too. It has a lift. Kinda like yours. Little higher. It’s got tires, forces also. Not extreme expensive. Just to make it look mean. It’s also blacked out too. Great tow rig!
this dodge ram dually very beautiful.
I use a aluminum gantry to lift and move things pulling motors etc but a fork life is always nice skid steers are cool but hard on payment harder for a helper to run visibility sucks but I'd grab a gantry they. An do it all
Since when did these videos become advertisements for products? I swear the whole video was an advertisement.
Was putting 18k on that oil and filter on my 04. Did my analytics through Blackstone labs.
I feel like the AMSOIL Heavy Duty Diesel and Marine would be a better choice for non-emissions intact diesel trucks. This oil meets earlier standards that have higher lubricity ratings from the additive packs in them. A lot of these additives have been removed from higher rated oils to reduce the emissions and help to keep emissions equipment (DPFs and EGR valves) from clogging up as bad. My thoughts but it would be interesting to hear it from AMSOIL!
I change my oil filter from the bottom those lil spots at bottom of filter fit into a oil filter socket really nice 👌 not a drop on me or the floor..
Me to I don’t like the pumice in hand cleaner and so far mule head is by far the best I’ve ever used
Me reads title- Ah yes might as well take the last running and complete truck apart. 😂🤣😂
Hey Greg you should plant some trees on your property line to help with the wind
You’ll get more use out of a skid steer with a bucket and then get forks too, more versatility.
Skid/bobcat for sure Greg
You don't need a skid steer or loader, you need a service body with a solid 10k+ crane. Way more useful.
And I’m about to start on the old 7.3 I have to tear it down and find out what’s wrong and possibly rebuild it but love the videos Greg a keepm comin man✌️
The dually is awesome! If you got or built another, would you do a single float tire up front and duals in the rear or stay traditional?
You should just get a skidsteer, they are a lot more useful! I’d recommend a cat 247b b2 or b3
Get a tractor you can use it to move stuff pickup pallets keep the gravel driveway flat. Would need a Deere 3 series and up to lift a Cummins. Or a kubota L series.
alcoas on the dually would look amazing
Mike Mackenzie it had alcoa style wheels on there stock. He didn't like them.
@@steveboy3021002 oh ya i forgot duallys came with them, i meant 22.5 alcoas though
I bet it’s quite the step to get up in that truck
My dad has been running his 02 5.9 about 10 to 20 thousand miles on an amsoil oil change since he got it in 02 and hasnt had any problems and hes at 140,000 miles
Ya and I've been running Shell Rotella in a 6NZ Cat for 1.9 million mile and I ain't had no problems either!!! Sorry ur little 6BT ain't even broke in yet!
Put the first gen cab on the dually frame, slam it on tarmacs and daily it.
Hell yeah, I was just thinking u should get a forklift!
Skid steer all day!
Finishing a project would be sweet too
Soon as he nearly finishes a project he changes his mind and made plans
I LOVE THIS TRUCK!
Better get use to the wind around here we get it and straight line winds a lot in in bowling green area
I love amsoil run it in everything I have. Never had an issue leaving it in for the yr or 25,000 miles. Always change the filter when its time. Also sent you a DM on
Please do a 30k service video. Would love to see what you do to that g56
Without only staying on concrete I wouldn’t go with a forklift unless it’s off-road, ours get stuck with any moisture in our compacted gravel lot
I run power driven diesel oil and I love it.
Skid steer would be better
Definitely need a 2 post lift for the garage!!
It's funny how the oil filter sticker is upside down when the filter is mounted
Discount code reminded me I need to change my oil. So big thanks
Fork lift is definitely worth it
A forklift is very limited in what it can do , especially if it has hard wheels , you can only use on hard surfaces and it is all lift , no power down which comes in handy some times . You might want to consider a small wheel loader like an old ford , Deere or Case , you can get forks for them but if you weld a hook on the bucket you can chain lift most things using slings. You could also find a tow behind mower for it and cut your mow time way down. A backhoe is great too , it dose most anything you want you just can’t use rear implements.
Backhoes suck dick! Get a skid steer idiot!!! Rubber tire boucney pile of shit that's wat a fuckin backhoe is a huge pile of shit can run circles around a goddamn backhoe with a skid steer on tracks an have tons of attachments that backhoes never will have!
Carter Scott , what the fuck is wrong with you asshole , it’s just an opinion shithead. I know damm well you would tone that shit down if you were standing in front of me. So , get a skid steer , I have a Komatsu myself.
Oh ya big boy let's go!
Carter Scott , what a fucking dummy , there are advantages to a regular loader for what he wants to do but you just want to talk shit so fuck off.
#1 you should get a skid steer. You could do yard work with it aswell as all your shop projects, #2 you need to second gen swap the dually 👍🏼🤘🏼
Liam Devlin gordon uhhhh....did you look at it?
Luke Miller like ditch the compounds and get a s647 turbo and manifold. Uhhhhh I can tell by the sound dude. All compound setups look like that 😂 doesn’t mean it’s a 2nd gen swap
Why bother with a second gen swap when he already has compounds? He tows heavy, so compounds are going to work much better than a large single.
Luke Miller you got your opinion and I have mine
I would get a tele-handler or skid steer.
I think the longhorn grille would look good.
You could get a little tractor with fork attachment
2 ton hoist in the shop!!!! Steel i beam across the shop and 2 ton chain hoist and solves all your problems
I worked on a farm that ran Schaffer oil he would send a sample in every 100 hrs last I knew it had 1000 hrs on a oil change
Soooo like if you not gonna finish the second gen ill take it 🤷🏻
I’d go far a small tractor over the forklift. You have a decent chunk of land there, so it could have more than one use
Keep up the great videos Greg!
U should look into bobcats skid steer
That's a real common cat filter u should check at the cat dealer chances are your paying more for the filter not getting them stright from cat
@Greg_A I have always used a 10k interval for my diesel oil changes and have never had any issues. When I switched over to full synthetic I began doing 15k intervals and for the past 3 years I haven't had any issues doing it that way as well. I use Motorcraft filters on my 4 Ford trucks and Mopar or a Wix filter on my Ram 5500. They are bucket trucks so the are semi loaded at all times and have lots of idle time along with the mileage.
just pull a durrymax jack move and go skid steer brother. its way more usable than a forklift.
I feel like I just watched one long commercial. I kept looking for the skip ad button.
DO A GARAGE UPDATE ON ALL YOUR VEHICLES AND UNIT
Haha, I've tried the engine hoist plan myself. Mine started splitting at the end of the square tube.
Anyone remember when he was running that filtered oil stuff? I knew that he’d switch amsoil.
Weekend Warrior Garage yup but he never ran it it the 4th gen or the 05. Probability smart.
This video was one big ass ad. Come on Greg
The dually is awesome. I need to hit the lottery so i can get mine deleted and set up a bit. Its an 18 with about 50k and its still bone stock. I would opt for a skid steer over a forklift. Safe travels👍👍👍👍👍
Skiddsteer fork lift attachments
You'd probably be better off with a skid steer and get forks for it rather just getting a forklift... atleast you could plow snow with it if you get it there
Your shop makes me so anxious! Can I come clean and organize it?!?
Derrick Klassen you get anxious over someone else’s shop? That’s about the most beta thing I’ve ever heard.
I would say a tractor or skid steer. Its more multi purpose.
There's so much going on I can't even remember where "we" are on the 05.
Tate B it was suppose to be getting a new engine
Skid steer check out Weston Champlin channel. He got a kobota and that would serve u well.
dually needs an oil filter relocation kit....
My neighbor clears snow with skid steer .
I honestly almost forgot about your dually it’s been so long lol
why not have an over head gantry crane in your work shop
Thats the ticket , an I beam and a chain hoist on a slde is good enough.
Spare tire for the trailer Greg A?
Sure wish i had the mlney like greg. I can only afford the truck. Everything else, forget it.
Curious why you went with 68RFE over AISIN with how much you tow? I see a lot of duallies with 68s in them than Aisins.
Got my amsoil order in!
I see a lot of projects getting started but..........
The oil is great but being a mechanic by trade I don’t care what anyone says nothing will beat a factory oil filter.
Time to see muscle man Andy savage
How does your truck not have a bunch of rock chips Bc I have a 19 with after market wheels and tires like yours and mine chipped all to hell
2nd gen swap with fleeces new exhaust brake incoming.
When you moving back to Jersey or do we have to wait for further videos
