That’s what I love about the 1st gen Ram trucks, the W250 frame is extended at the joining of the rear clip. So shortening the frame to fit a Ramcharger is easy.
Problem is LT isn't on the show anymore 😕. They go through hosts like underwear. And for some reason think they need 25 projects all at once never really finishing any... not like it used to be that's for sure
Wont happen, bully dog doesn't even make tuners that actually improve power anymore after they got smacked by the EPA. You have to get a 3rd party tuner to do it, or do it yourself. Even then it's HIGHLY restricted.
great series. I am one that welded a gmt400 frame after a 1 ton and gmt800 HD for guidance. LOL. this is right up my alley. No one will guess HD rails until they look, and actually know these trucks.

I get it's for TV. Buys the truck with a S&B cold air intake. Takes it off and replaces it with Bully Dog. Then replaces it again off screen with the final one. Nice!
I like how LT pointed out the original wasn't really a cold air intake and then wound up swapping out the real cold air intake for another hot air intake off camera due to the parts sponsorship.
The factory oil pressure sending unit is a check valve kinda sensor. Oil pressure on a aftermarket gauge wont hurt. But if the stock gauge comes off its starting point it has pressure. And for future searches take a look at LMR, American muscle and cj pony parts. As far as future tuning if you ever decide to change tuners look up Mo’s speed shop out of Dallas Georgia. They are really good with mustangs in general. You can figure the gear ratio by rpm at 55mph with it in 4th o/d locked up. Id turn tcs off at all times, its a early tcs system and it will actually cause you more trouble than it will prevent. It pulls engine timing a ton, and doesnt exactly abs like it needs too in order to help traction. Ive had em sideway and tcs kick in and the car dead hook and go straight in a bad way. Ive even seen tcs activate when its turned off by the button. Could ask the tuner to eliminate it completely if he is capable.
Great build would’ve done few things different though as far as performance. You guys should’ve added keys on the crank that small dowel pin is a major weak point, also you might’ve been able to get a few more gains in stage one and overall if you upgraded the Y bridge to a 3inch the stock one is just as restrictive as the downpipe, one other thing is when trying to push more fuel you could also add higher flow rate injectors and another major upgrade is 2 piece motor mounts keeps it held tight which when your truck pulling you don’t need to rely on a chain to keep it from torquing under load just few things. Anyone with an lb7 should also do wire tuck the stock covering is a major pain… tucking and loosing the OE plastic will save time when pulling 👌
Check out a battery tender desulfator, my dad has brought back many batteries with one. It basically shocks the battery on and off constantly. Maybe it will work 🤷♂️
ppe is a sponsor but if it was me id throw that ppe diff cover in the trash and get a banks ram air diff cover its deigned for better cooling a the fins inside help cool it better without introducing air in the oil. and it has a patented ram scoop that cools the diff
Im only guessing, but based on all the details you provided... I would bet the first hard yank caused damage at both ends. Whether a visual inspection would have helped or not, who knows. The second pull damaged your recovery point and the soft shackle at the jeep even more...to the point of complete failure. When i saw your video teaser still shot i would have guessed the jeeps recovery point broke and that was the mass and weight that caused so much damage and injury. Thank god that was not the case, or this could have been a complete tragedy for you or your passenger. Thank god you are recovering and learning from this experience. I learned a few things I've assumed and done many times without realizing I've just gotten lucky. First step for me is throwing away my cheap Chinese soft shackles and only keeping my better ones.
You didn't even take the trim panel off the dash and clean under it... Well I guess it's a quick build and that's a difference between a detail bill and a quick build
The look of the street tires on a truck sticking out the sides is horrible imo. Every piece of dirt and every puddle sprays crap all over the side of that nice paint job.

Mine is above about an inch or so but it’s dead center with rear sprocket my question is would that cause a problem ? Should I lower the engine to be center with swing arm bolt ?
