Nice video, I have the big bend with the sas pkg., modular bumper and 2.3l engine. Plenty of power!! Getting between 16 to 17mpg locally here. Trip mileage even better.👍👍👍👍👍👍
LOL - if you want to really scratch your head, try a 2 door OBX 2.7 non-sasquatch at 4600 lbs with a Flowmaster High Clearance Axle Back exhaust. It is a little rocket on 30% E85.
We tested the Everglades as well as a 4 cylinder Badlands, have driven the 4 cylinder manuel and owned the 2.7l as a Badlands and as a Sasquatch Outerbanks. NOW I was mostly wrong about the 4cyl.
The everglades window sticker is at thirteen point four leaders per hundred kilometers in the two point seven liter wildtrack is at fourteen point one. That is less than a quarter of a gallon for sixty two point three miles.
I ordered mine in September of 2020. Still no vin, and now the dealership and customer service Ford, including their Twitter, is ignoring my emails. Huntington Beach Ford rep asked me if I'd put down an extra $100 deposit on my first call with them so they can "have an extra one on the lot" This entire ordeal has made me hate ford with extreme passion.
Ford performance, if you have it dealer installed it’s warranted for 3 years. It was 899.99, but to keep the warranty you will need Ford to install it, catch 22.
The last Ford I owned had an internal water pump built into the timing. Such a horrible design. Is the 2.3 or 2.7 designed like this or is the water pump external?
Yesterday was a pretty busy day with all the videos that we put out. The reward was state dinner on the barbecause. If we can't have any play at least we can eat steak. Next weekend we hope to get the maverick out and make a few videos on how the hybrid system works

FINISHER I would do the 2.3L if I were to need a Bronco vehicle. It is not a :"SHOW DOG" but gets the job done well.

Sorry, Johnny missed your premiere. March Madness!!
Enjoy the basketball. No worries and thanknyou for the comment
I have a 2.3l / 7mt badlands and I love it!
Awesome input. Thank you
The 2.3 is built at Cleveland engine. Its not a small 4 cylinder.
Some people say that if you get the 2.3l you should get a catch can.
Yes! Good idea
Very informative & insighful Johny. Thanks again!
Glad you enjoyed it! Glad you watched and enjoyed chatting in the live chat section. Thank you
Love it the suspension is so much a better ride for everyday drives to work. Keep beats your guts out of you
Yep. I was very tempted by a 392 jeep or a plug in 4xe but the ride always dissapointed. Even tried the Gladiator.
Short trip in the 4 cylinder going to carbon up the injector fast
No question the 2.3 is a very capable engine and lighter than the 2.7. Question is, does it get better gas mileage than the 2.7? Nice review. Thanks.

@@Johnnyscarcarereviewslol just write 2.3 and 2.7. Makes it way easier to read.
Order your 2023 This Monday March 27th. PLEASE LET us know what you ordered or will be ordering and why

Everglades is just flat out god damn awesome ride. Love mine. Deer proof right off the lot. It turns a horny buck into backstraps.
Lol. Love how you wrote that. The deer do get a little crazy at this time of year
Where do we get the ford tune for 2.3 and what is cost?
The tune can be bought from many aftermarket companies pr the Ford performance from your local Ford store parts dep

Let me add, it’s a 4door with the hardtop.

Labour for the job is estimated around 200 dollars so the water pump replacement can't be that bad for the 2.7l v6
What's up guys?
