It boggles my mind as to what the creators were thinking when they made the pairing button the doorbell button. I just ordered the Eken T7. After having it all set up and installed on my door, the first person to press it caused the button to stick which resulted in the unit trying to enter pairing mode!
The pairing button should never be a control accessible by the end user. It should always be something accessible ONLY from the back of the unit, just like the reset button. This is a major flaw that I have found in many of the Eken models.

Hi, The push notification to my Huawei smartphone Does not work .Does anyone know what could be the reason for this issue
Very nice video. How long is the response time when someone rings the bell, from when you open the app, till it show the live feed?
If Immy phone is on the same network then it will be quick 3-4 seconds but when i am on data takes a while maybe 30 seconds approximately. Btw i have old phone so ymmv.

Have you tried to scan the qr code from your phone with the door bell?
I have the gray model of this same brand, but I have not been able to record with the sd card. I tried formatting it but it keeps loading with the iaiwit app
The model I have does not support memory card and it always saved footage on the cloud.
hi, how do you enable the microphone access?
Hello , in the app live view you tap on the microphone icon.
Can you still receive the notifications even the app is fully closed in iPhone or u need to keep the home app always open?
You need the allow the app always in the iphone settings and this will make a push notification even the app is not running or open.

Should not have issues with both IOS and android. Possibly you are connecting to 5ghz network, connect to 2.4 ghz on your wifi.
@@Matinikk am connecting to the 2.4 ghz am doing exactly as the instructions. We charge the doorbell for 3 hours maybe we need to put it back to fully charge. When am scanning the doorbell with the barcode isn't responding keep saying wifi fail connection thanks
I have a similar doorbell and it worked for 3yrs. I took it off when the battery died and for the 1st time it's saying camera is ready to pair. No matter what I've tried including another app it will not accept it. I never changed anything in my wifi settings. My service provider told me altho my wifi says 5ghz if a device needs 2.4 it will find it and use what it needs. I'm thinking that is my issue because at one point i had both but then i was told that only one was needed and whatever device needed whatever it would work 😞
Bro, is the Google Cloud Free forever or you need to pay subscribe after certain Month or after you used certain amount of virtual storage space? Can you record the Video to your Handphone memory? Can the device pair up more than 1 chime?
Yes free cloud storage for 7 or 14 days and it will automatically deleted and write over it. Yes you can record and save to your phone memory. I only have 1 chime bell so i think you can pair multiple chimes.
I have the door bell but it didn’t come w/ batteries and it seems like no stores have them
It depends where you bought yours. Mine is from Aliexpress and I chose the one that comes with battery. The battery type is 18650 and you can only buy it online.
can it be paired to more than one phone at a time ?
You install the app to another phone and cannot use 1 account to view. You have to create different account then you share the access. Answer is yes.
Can I just use rechargeable AA batteries to power this?
No you can’t. It uses 16850 type batteries. When ordering this choose the one that comes with batteries.

how long does the battery last? how often do you need to recharge the battery? thanks
For me it last for a month and and a half I dont have much activity and it depends on the milliamp battery that you will use.

Does hp have to keep connected to 2.4g ? What if i change battery and overtime the double side tape just won’t stick anymore?
The doorbell ring function still works if you lost wifi connection but it would not upload recordings and you can’t view it. Changing batteries still holds your wifi settings so when you turn it back on it will reconnect to your wifi.
@@Matinikk does that mean my i have to stick to 2.4g wifi and not 5g wifi? The promotion video i saw somewhere online even claim user could communicate to doorbell ringer when user is away from home?

I have had my doorbell since January and it still does not work correctly. I bought 2 sets of the correct batteries, 18650 2600mah 3.7v for this doorbell and I think the doorbell drains the batteries shortly after they are installed, I get a voice that says" low batteries please charge in time." But it still will not work. What I suppose to do or am I doing something wrong between the batteries and the device? Please advise.. Just noticed that when I remove 1 of the batteries the doorbell will work but once I unplug the doorbell, nothing happens. No activity at all I don't know what to do, I can't leave it plugged in on the outside. The internet connection is not the problem because I can actually see myself, talk through the intercom but it will not stay charged without the cord. Thank you in advance
Check the sensitivity settings and try setting to meduim and observed the battery status this should last a while. Otherwise your doorbell might be malfunctioning.

Toy647 look for the motion icon then change the sensitivity settings to medium
@@Matinikk, thank you for helping me. but there is no motion icon on my bell and my instructions tells me to, go to my home screen, settings icon then motion, PIR motion sensitivity and change it. Except there isn't a motion icon on here on this bell instructions. The only icons that can be changed are the ring alert/off & on, doorbell ringer volume and the time zone. This is frustrating. I tried to send you a screenshot but i wasn't successful. Can you still help me?
How do I save the videos on the Camara ?
The doorbell uploads the video to the cloud and you can download a copy from the Live home app.

The doorbell itself has one ringer tone. The optional ringer has I think 14 tones.

Does anyone else have a problem connecting to WiFi? I use an Apple Airport 5th generation router and even with the simplest SSID and password the doorbell won't connect to my WiFi. It keeps saying that the WiFi password is incorrect. I have been trying for a month now to get this to work but i think i am going to toss the doorbell away soon if it does not work soon...
Make sure your Airport is set to 2.4 ghz because if they are mixed this would cause problem to connect a 2,4 ghz device. You need to check your Airport configuration also the bandwith settings on your Airport should be set to 20Meg if this set to higher this would also cause problem with 2.4 ghz device. just saying because I did troubleshoot Airport before.
If your doorbell doesn’t ring can you still see the video?
Your DB should ring if you press the button. You should be able to do live view unless you DB is broken.

hi i also have a problem connecting this door bell to wifi when i first connected it worked with out the batterys from the charging port but having the battiers in srill dont connect
Make sure to connect the doorbell to a 2.4 ghz network. I had trouble connecting before and did not realize that I am connecting to a 5Ghz band of my wifi router.

How long the life of battery???
Depending on the milliamps battery you use also the motion sensor settings. Mine lasted a month with minimal settings and I lived in apartment so not busy and not using a lot of motion sensing.

This doorbell don’t support sd card. This has free 14 day cloud service.

Try registering by using your smartphone data and turned off your wifi for creating an account only.

It works on both. However It only works on 2.4 ghz wifi network.
In my case Eken V5 not connecting in 4G network, but in wifi connection works great, and they from customer support dosent now solution
How to switch to 2.4ghz?
You switch your wifi connection to 2.4ghz to connect the doorbell.

I only see 5ghz wifi for my home. There is no 2.4ghz 😞

Bought it hate it . Response time ..... by the time you see live feed, the driver will be on his way to next delivery. All you see , if you are lucky is some smoke from the exhaust of the van. So wast of money
Sorry to hear that bro, Mine works ok, there is a delay but not much is because my DB is close to my router. I have also upgraded to nooie doorbell and There is also a delay and i think that is the nature of wireless doorbell.
Don’t buy it everytime you charge the batteries you’ll need to reconnect it again with wifi

I am recharging it on a separate charger and I don’t have to reconfigure to my router. There must be something wrong with your doorbell. Anyhow this is a $30 doorbell and can’t expect much. Sorry to hear that yours doesn’t work right.

Thanks for the feedback, I dont use this doorbell anymore since I upgraded to Nooie doorbell. If no more free 7 day cloud sptrage then it is bummer. There a lots of options now outhere.
