Something I found out is that you can make easy curves using blueprints by turning a centered foundation in the blueprint designer. It makes the seamless corner touching curves. They snap together just like a normal foundation.
If you add a power pole at each corner of the blueprint, it helps lining the build up on foundations and the next set of buildings. Delete when finished.
Popped up in my recommended and this is inspiring me to return to the game after two years! I really like the thing you did with unlocking the blueprint immediately from that website.
Top tip for placing Blueprints. 1) Lay a 4x4 grid using the global grid, if you don't your BP wont snap to the global grid. 2) Create a 4x4 BP 3) lay the 4x4 BP onto the 4x4 grid you lay on the ground. This seems to be a duplication of effort which it is only if you don't use the global grid. 4) No when you lay the complex building BP on the BP 4x4 press 'R' and switch snapping from default to BP mode. 5} Your BP will snap perfectly to the 4x4 grid foundation

Yep - it's not needed but it can help with scaling lines, if for example you want to prioritise iron plate production, the first two smelters would lead to iron plate constructors, but if you have an influx of resources, then more smelters will turn on, allowing you to produce something else when throughout is high
@@TotalXclipseHello again, speaking of this, how do manifolds work? To me they don't make much sense as it goes 120 -> 60 -> 30 -> 15 -> 7.5 etc., so how does it eventually become equal?
@@blast.507 I recommend watching one of my special videos covering the topic. But in short say you have 4 constructors taking 15 items per minute, and a 60 item line. Not including the unique options like Wind/Water/Solar, Refined Power is the same power for a given amount of fuel input. well I learned from this video there's no real point to unlocking blueprints early cuz you aren't going to have the power systems set up to really use them until the tier they unlock at in the first place anyways.

each gen use 45 water per minute, the max throughput of a single pipe is 300. 300 divided by 45 = 6.66 which means you can supply to 6.666 coal gens per full pipe.
@@TotalXclipse oh.. yes I see I was living in world where I was using 3 pipes (two connected to 4 plants and one to the both at the end) to deliver to 8 coal plants in total which gave me 100% efficiency
I find it best to use 1 pipe and 1 water pump for every two Coal Plants. Not efficient (whatever that means) until later when I overclock the Coal Plants to the max. And I overclock the pumps to just what I need for the two overclocked power plants.

i haven't touched this game in a while. i defiantly need to come back to it. would love if just the blueprint files were made available. wonder if anyone has a rar file of there blueprints.
Why now you using experimental and not early access branch?
It might just be carryover from when U7 was Experimental. Even though Experimental and EA are basically the same at this point (I believe), if you were on Experimental before U7 came to EA, then it keeps you on Experimental unless you manually switch back to EA.
"This is my favorite animation in the game" continues to skip half the animation 😂
22:02 find the error
Yes plz!!
One of those nodes refuses to spawn into game for me even though it pings on the scanner
Same - you can still place a miner on it though
well I learned from this video there's no real point to unlocking blueprints early cuz you aren't going to have the power systems set up to really use them until the tier they unlock at in the first place anyways.
Yep pretty much the case
Do you use a controller?
Nope
No way I can afford paying for those blueprints. Guess I'm doing it the hard way then. Which is probably better anyway.
It's not that hard to set them up if you follow how I set them up 🙂
You can have 2 hubs as you killed you with hub parts
Am I missing it or does he not say which map this is on? I'm not seasoned enough to recognize the terrain
The World is all one map, but the particular start location is south of the Rocky Desert, or north west of the grassy fields :)
I noticed that the resource rock e.g. quartz, limestone are taking up a lot of RAM my game started to lag after discovering entire map after destroying every resource rock I come across the lagging stopped
I'll give that a try. I can use SCIM to find the lumps, but is there an efficient way to mass delete only those?
@@DistracticusPrime I think there is mod setting where its possible to disable only selected annoyances
i must agree with the space elevator being the most beautiful thing when its build but you muted the sounds, cryyyyyyyyyy
9:42 imagine this is a legs, thanks me later
What?
You’ve been watching LGIO havent you?
@@pyrolucky5741 yes...
"I started a new game" 13min later. 'BANG' coal power....
At this speed this series will be 5 episodes max 🤣
(relax, this comment was meant as a joke😉)
Anyone else have issue with one of the Pure Iron Nodes being underground?
Yep it's a bug, but if you run a miner over it in the build gun, you'll find it
1 pipe for 6 coal plants ?
each gen use 45 water per minute, the max throughput of a single pipe is 300. 300 divided by 45 = 6.66 which means you can supply to 6.666 coal gens per full pipe.
And I overclock the pumps to just what I need for the two overclocked power plants.
bro i started playing satisfactory 4 days ago and I just unlocked steal :c
*cries in dedicated server*
anyone else crashing trying to make anykind of blueprint? even non modded after reinstall still crashes with single splitter or anything when saving...
Will this savegame work with PAK utility mod trough satisfactory mod manager ? Pak utility mod is a replica of Brabb3i utility mod that use used creating savegame i belive.
it seems it accepted it.. as it did not ask for any mods when load savegame
How wierd is this.. this savegame is same spot i started on my new savegame from the other day.. first time i started here over all these years. (included beta)
Resetting this soon makes me not want to watch the lets play
You don't have to watch it, unfortunately the LODS are so bad on my U6 let's play that we can't continue until they fix the bug.
Man I hate when the videos spoil the map...
Girlfriend says pink
Npc tbag lol
Why not leave the offline player?
Believe it or not, the character has returned - but it had my resources that I needed
@@TotalXclipse ^_^ Yet you summoned in more.
Why not just start with all the research done? The research is not of any value after you have done it once.
Bro I beg you increase your FOV
Why? That's what it's set to in game
@@TotalXclipse if you put it to 120 FOV the game is much better to play in my opinion. give it a try!
Does ANYone actually play this game withOUT hacking and modding it? Loading a gamesave into calculator, I also consider that "cheating".
You COULD make all the blueprints in a legit save and you can access all your created blueprints in a NEW game. I'm not against modding etc....or even cheating really (IDSPISPOPD) But I would love to see a "LEGIT" build thats badass and efficient. Ive got around 180 hours in and now have enough things unlocked that doing efficient clean layouts and designs are now possible. I have MOST of the MAM researched, space elevator 1 and 2 done and all but 2 or 3 items in those are also done. So I get it, it takes time.
i am sure that puting blueprints behind a paywall is not what the devs had in mind. and personally i will not be supporting that.
Glad the devs didn‘t let us purchase cosmetics like outfits or fancy dances like some other games.
Having blueprints or savegames behind a paywall doesnt bother me at all. It‘s very nice on my side of that Wall.
Given that you could eyeball what he does and make it yourself I don't see the harm in it.
Stop moaning, you are paying for the convenience of something he made. You can find a similar one on the satisfactory site or just make your own. It's hardly difficult copy it anyway.
Again, I see your point, but this is firstly my full time job, and with it, my videos, streams, music, website are all free so are some blueprints and saves. I purposefully show off how to do these blueprints so you can choose to do it yourself. I'm just offering patreons a bonus for supporting. Alternatively I could move all of the free content onto patreon... 🤷
Wait, Satisfactory has a creative mode?
