Two things 1: 10 years later and your video is still helping new bakers so thank you! 2: that confession at the end was amazing and gave me all the confidence I need to try my new bread maker tomorrow. Thanks for the tips along the way!
Wow!!! The big reveal at the end was astonishing. We couldn't believe you would wait so long, after confidently guiding us through this entire process, to then disclose your dark secret. Was the whole video a lie? Have you ever even BAKED BREAD before, Jan? I'm truly aghast.
It would have been helpful to have mentioned the size of your machine. I found out it usually can either generally make 1 lb, 1.5 lb and 2 lbs loaves. It was my first time to use a bread machine. I figured out that mine is less than a 1 lb machine i.e. .95 lb machine (15 1/5 ounce loaf yield). I now have a half cooked loaf that looks like a mushroom. Your recipe is 3.83 cups of flour and 2 tsp of yeast and 1 lb recipes call for just 2 cups of flour and only 1 tsp of yeast. Just an fyi to any other newbies. Live and learn. If you don't know, you can measure the volume of your bucket For instance:1.5-lb. machines hold 10 cups of water; 2-lb. machines hold 12 cups or more of water; and 1-lb. machines only hold 8 cups of water.
Question. My breadman breadmaker directions for different types of bread, have some flours going in before some liquids…. Should I STILL put liquids in first? Or follow their directions to “put them in in the order listed”? I tried making the Breadman 2 cheese recipe last night. Followed the recipe to a T. 1.5 hours later I smelled burnt bread 😡 the dough had rose out of the basket and onto the heating element. And let me tell you. I spend 2 hours getting it cleaned back up. It was a nightmare. Thoughts?
thank you the video, however not all machines put the ingredients in the pan in the order you show. My Panasonic instructions list the ingresients with dry first and liquid last. Kindest regards
I don’t know if it was just me that noticed but you didn’t actually put your raisins into the automatic dispenser, because you forgot to close the door on it, so they would of just fell straight through into the bread pan with all the other ingredients. 😂
Would you be so kind to list your recipe in here? There is so much background noise in your video that I cannot understand what some of the things you are saying. Thank you!

Oh my God I love my bread machine. If only I could find a way to make a bread loaf a complete meal. I'd be so happy.

Thank you for sharing wheat flour, made my second batch of bread 🍞 with machine. Following directions do not always state the tricks of the trade.
I’m a vegetarian 🌱 close to vegan 1 year and nice hearing the butter and egg substitutes!
No tengo el instructivo para utilizar la West Bend me puede indicar como usarla
Gracias por las recetas
