The tape dispenser I bought, the rolls of tape does not fit the the roller they are way to big. I had to jury rig it for it to work.

Omg omg omg it's all I have to say I followed everything you did and my cup came out perfect for the first time ever I really appreciate this video and I will never forget it I have the HTVRONT Tumblr press and I do not like it I really like the oven that I got
It amazes me at how many ways there are to wrap and tape these tumblers. I have yet to make my first one. I have been collecting all of my supplies and now I’m just trying to decide what process I want to use to wrap the tumbler. Some people wrap the heck out of it and others, like yourself tape minimally and they come out great. I guess I just need to pull the trigger and just see what happens. I just worry that I’ll screw up a tumbler.
Trial and error is definitely the best way to figure out what works for you!
I was happy yo find you and see you use the Oster oven. I needed to see it in the working mode and also the time and temps. Getting ready to do some things. Husband is telling me I can’t do it without the racks 🧐
You can do it without racks if they are able to stand up straight. Check out other videos using the ovens that are smaller!

Hi! Thanks for sharing your tips! Can you tell me what printer i should buy? I have an HP Office JetPro 8710 and I am getting lines throughout my images. TIA
If you’re getting lines, make sure that you’re printing the best quality setting possible and don’t use the “speed printing” setting (can’t recall exact verbiage. I use an Epson EcoTank 2270 for smaller projects and an Epson WorkForce 7210 for projects upwards of 13x19

hello, I love your video. It helped me so much when I started. I do have a questions of something that I am seeing on ny designs when sublimating with my black ink. after I sublimate around the black ink I see black spots. It is only around the black. Why do you think that happens?
I would make sure that you don’t have the “bleed” option turned on, if it’s not on, I would do some printer head cleanings. Make sure you clean your tumbler with alcohol before applying design as well! Happy the video helped!

What printer setting do you use? ADOBE RGB or the printer drive option….hope that makes sense… my color is faded and I can’t figure out why
I print via photo shop. Ive started using the “printer manages colors” and then under advanced tab, “color controls”, adobe rgb with gamma 2.2
Hey, if I don’t have the heat gun, what else can I use to shrink the shrink wrap? Like can I use a blow dryer?
I’m not sure if a hair dryer will get hot enough, but you could give it a try with protective gloves! If not, heat guns aren’t that expensive.

If you’re OK with the size of your project but just need the black frame gone, you’ll have to physically cut it.

I honestly can’t remember where I got the watermelon background or the messy bun image. I put them together myself to make the final design, along with a “bleach” spot effect

Hello!!!! I loved them!!! I have everything to make sublimated tumblers, but I have a question. Is resin added as the last step or is it not necessarily necessary? Ty 💜 so much
Resin isn't necessary once the sublimation process is successfully completed. The design will then be permanent on the tumbler.

QUESTION: NEVER sublimated before. Can you use your oven as my conventional is not tall enough or can you put your cup lying down on a tray in your conventional oven?
First off, never ever use a cooking device for sublimation, then use it to cook food. Sublimating releases toxins that can stay in the oven and enter your food.
You can lay your cup down in your oven reserved only for sublimating. Just turn it halfway

thank you for this ! I completed a couple successful tumblers, but recently, one of mine had some spots.. almost like there was water drops. or some kind of droplets on the cup. My print was clean, so it wasnt that. Any thoughts ?
Did you clean the cup with an alcohol pad or alcohol beforehand? I do this to make sure there isn’t any residue on the cups.

First time seeing it done this way. Nice method. Why did you use the shrink wrap?
I feel it helps seal up the edges around the top and bottom and the main seam to prevent ghosting.

Question: Why paper do I use to make the designs?
Any sublimation paper should do. I use a brand called A-sub (Amazon)

How do you make or prep your photos
I use photoshop to prepare them, then print them using my sublimation printets
Please I need help! what are your measurements for your sublimation designs. I still haven't quite gotten them right. I get them ready in Cricut design space and then print them from Word but I'm still having trouble I just can't seem to get it right.

Make sure that Word isn’t changing up your dimensions when it prints
Try getting them ready in Canva, much easier and can be saved as a png etc

I like designbundles.net but there are many other websites you can find them. Do a google search for tumbler sublimation prints.

Yes, they are white glossy tumblers that are specifically for sublimation use.

You can use any oven you want HOWEVER, once you use sublimation ink inside it, you CAN NO LONGER COOK FOOD IN IT! The sublimation ink gasses make it toxic

Can the paper not overlap?
I have found that when I overlap the edges, it causes ghosting or the seam to be more noticeable. Some people overlap and do just fine. Trial and error to find out what works best for you!
Is that just a regular oven?
It’s an Oster Digital French Door counter top oven. Keep in mind that once you use it for sublimation, you can’t cook anything consumable in it!! It can make you sick.
Where are you getting your best price to buy the White tumbler
I just started purchasing mine from a distributor and I think she charges 795 or eight dollars per. That’s the lowest I’ve seen so far.

I didn’t mind watching this makes a little bit easier, but if she would’ve kept her hands in front of the camera, it would’ve been a lot easier for us to see position your camera in a different way so you’re never out of camera shot
