Don't rinse it out. When I do mine every day...I follow with oil. My hair grew 1 inch in 2 weeks. No breakage. Try a wide-tooth comb and you won't break what you are growing.
Here’s a tip from a friendly who has used flaxseed gel for three years. When you make your flaxseed gel strain it while it’s hot and let it sit. This will save you so much time and you won’t have to deal with the mess! Also, use a applicator bottle to apply your gel, this will also save time. My last tip is to leave the gel on your hair and braid it or twist it, this will help you retain length. Reapply the gel to your ends every other day for a nice hard coat that will keep those ends from breaking . I hope this helps! ❤ My last haircut was in 2020 and I cut it to chest length and did this routine, my hair is now touching my tailbone. Before I just used the gel randomly but now it’s my bestie!
I just made mine yesterday and I did it like that. I think Bre Hall did a video. But it was so easy I wish I would have boiled mine 8 mins but I did 6 mins because I was scared it was going to be to thick I got the 6 mins idea from another youtuber who might have done the same thing. You know, straining it while still hot.
Boil cloves, fenugreek and rosemary, for 20 minutes, then add flaxseeds to make your gel. Then add glycerine and any essential oils of your choice . Apply it to damp hair, leave it it and your moisture cream and seal it with oil, you really don’t have to wash it out.
That sounds interesting! How should the gel be applied? Liberally or sparingly? Do you use a leave in conditioner first? Would love to learn more about this. Can you share any links to ❤further research this recipe please?
Your results with flaxseed gel are amazing! It's inspiring to see such a noticeable difference in just seven days. Thanks for sharing your detailed process and tips on making the gel. I use it on my ends, but I might try it on all of my hair!
Next time can you take before pictures of your hair before you start your journey... you see growth alledgly after the 7 days but I see nothing to go by.. and be careful of that "rat tooth" comb on 4c hair.. can cause more damage the help..
Thanks for sharing. I eat flax seed almost every day in smoothies. I usually grind it to a powder form so I will try the powdered form to make the gel. Honestly I can’t wash my hair every day. My hair is kept in a protective style so I will add it to the plats and wash it once a week.
same. My hair is almost always in a protective style so washing it out every day wouldnt work for me. I am going to try the flaxseed oil though. And just oil my scalp with that
Please stop using that thin comb. You need a wider tooth one. And be gentle. Your hair is always growing, you're just not retaining the length. I use flaxseed as my gel...no need to rinse.
You want long hair drink black coffee every day , sports, water, smash a garlic put it in a cup of olive oil, apply it on your hair the whole night, wash it tomorrow, do this regularly you will have Long hair
I do. If only in my ends. If I have a "style". But usually my hair is in twists... so everyday. I spritz with MSM/aloe juice then. Coat with flaxseed gel... to with oil. Don't forget to massage!
After I put it in my hair, I oil my scalp and hair. I don't wash it out, when my hair gets dry then I use it again. I wash my hair every 2 weeks. And I mix it aloa vera, I haven't use it straight. As for hair growth I see any differences just less shading.
Most of them are lies it doesn't works so quick it has to be a constant use and I heard other youtubers says using it daily builds residues and grease build up .
I made some yesterday for the first time. The smell is in the pure gel, but after applying it in the hair, I couldn't smell it anymore. Have you tried adding a few drops of essential oils to it? I've seen some others do that to give it a nice scent.
@@brismarter I don't know if my observation is correct, but it seems to work better on either hair that has chemical or hair that has natural curls. But I will admit it makes my hair soft curls no, but thank you I will try your advice
Damn stop thinking negative just cuz it didn't work for you that don't mean it don't work for the next person everything don't work for everybody don't come talking to that lady like that try something else it might grow your hair got damn talking stupid stupid ass peoples out here in this world

Thanks so much for the tip.. it’s really helpful. But one question please. What’s your hair porosity?

My hair had been falling OUT since 2020. I started using flaxseed on my hair the breakage stopped and my hair is growing again👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿🙏🏿
Same happened to me

@@christine1962ful As much as you like, what you feel is good enough for your hair.
I leave it in. I don't wash it out. It works for me. I also added fresh rosemary to the boiling seeds.
Please use a widetooth comb or detangling brush to avoid breaking your hair with the comb you are using.
Trimming your ends will help with the overall health of your hair. Try to put your gel in a squeeze bottle. . Thanks for sharing
great tip!! thanks

Excellent tip, gotta try this on wash day!
Just remove the gel with a strainer while still hot it's much easier and better
That’s what I was just thinking
Nice video. Thanks for sharing. May we have an update on your hair please ❤️
I use flaxseed as well but I leave it in my hair till the next wash day.
I love that idea. Thanks for sharing

If your hair grew 2 inches in 7 days, your hair should be to the floor by now… can we see your natural hair length now?
The violence 😭😂
I didn't see any hair growth, but I do have less shading, after 1 week use.
Your hair looking really beautiful 😍😍

yes gurl!!! I would love to incorporate flaxseed in my diet as well
I used to wash my hair once a week, but because of my job, I now wash it every 2 weeks.
same. My hair is almost always in a protective style so washing it out every day wouldnt work for me. I am going to try the flaxseed oil though. And just oil my scalp with that
Please can I apply it on corn roll hair style?

Plz I want to ask how long can it be preserve without fridge, n also must u apply it everyday
It's the Vitamin D doing the work. You can also strain it through a standard strainer when it is more liquidy. Don't wait til it is more musilaginous.
Mucilage
@elegantpaws01 Thank you!
Made mine with whole cloves and a tea bag in the water for extra goodness
Which kind of tea?
@@lisaacosta5504 I used black tea
So you’re saying that everyday you put flaxseed in, washed it out, let your hair dry, then did it again the next day for seven days?
A pair of pantyhose or knee highs are a good strainer.
Can we preserve it in the fridge?
Yes

Hey there, did the flax gel work for you?
You hair looks lovely I’m getting some
Should you use it on dry hair or just washed can't hair? X
you can wet ur hair before applying but you don't have to. I did not.
Can I apply the gel everyday or is it something you use once a week?

I'm going to try this

do i store the gel in a cool area or is leaving it in room tempt ok?
In the refrigerator, last about 2 weeks.
I put that stuff in my hair and my hair turned white. Even with oil I didn't like it
You have 4b hair
Can I apply it everyday or just once a week
Everyday

Nothing. I use it as a gel
@@cbeautyx8733 thanks for the reply I end up trying it as gel the coils were poppin 🙌🙌

Buy from fraine supermarket kiwatule
Hello Uganda
Curious if you were able to get flax seed ?😁
What did I do wrong bc mine is leaving my hair crunchy
when u leave it in your hair for long it will eventually dry. Remember to rinse. Also it depends on ur hair texture as well.
After I put it in my hair, I oil my scalp and hair. I don't wash it out, when my hair gets dry then I use it again. I wash my hair every 2 weeks. And I mix it aloa vera, I haven't use it straight. As for hair growth I see any differences just less shading.
Can I use in my short hair
yes
No one grows 2 inches in 7 days. Stop it
Ukr lol
Flaxseed does not work on my weiner. Its still only 2 inches . This sucks
Most of them are lies it doesn't works so quick it has to be a constant use and I heard other youtubers says using it daily builds residues and grease build up .
Wtf
You do not have 4c hair
Flaxseed doesn't work for my hair, I have better curl definition with black soap and Vaseline, no one has talked about you handle the smell
