Thank you for the incredible quality training content you share and the positive attitude you bring to each of your videos. As a Christian athlete myself it brings me such joy to see you start your videos with you spending time in the bible and with Jesus. While it may not seem to be the case you are consistently a positive role model.
Hebrews 12:1-2: Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

As someone who has had cancer 4 times, I watch your videos to stay on track and continue to train and live. Your balance and perspective and attitude make me smile. I really admire you and your resilience!

Amanda, this video was ‘exactly’ what I needed this week. Currently in the brick-building phase training for my first 50 mile ultra in July. After the holidays I’ve been feeling exactly how you expressed in this video. Thank you for your honesty and grit! Feeling more gumption to push forward.

Perceived Overwhelm! I love that phrasing! And you are far from alone in it!! But, I have learned once you start working on or attending, etc those things they usually end up being molehills and not the mountains we thought they were going to be! Great video as always!

I love that you showed the highs and lows of training. I feel like a lot of influencers will make it seem so glamorous and motivating all the time.

Love this weeks vlog it's actually good to see you struggling as some influencers make training look so easy. I'm glad you are keeping it real. You could feel the struggle, and I'm glad the following week was better for you.

Thank you for sharing your daily training. I‘m training for my first 100-mile-race in April. Your content is definitely a motivation. Greetings from Germany ❤

It was refreshing to see the actual day to day...nothing glamorous needed or wanted here! And you are absolutely building grit!! Stay strong Amanda... you got this!! 💪😜
I am currently training for my first half marathon at the end of March! 😁💜

I love the “unglamorous” content! I appreciate the realness and reality that you also struggle! I think it’s easy to look at athletes that are so far along in their journey and get discouraged when it’s hard for you because they never show the reality of how difficult it actually is!!Appreciate your honesty and here for all the things no matter how glamorous or unglamorous it is! ❤ also excited for the day that 9 miles is my easy run 😂

10:56. That's why I like Amanda. I relate to this way too much. My thoughts of what could happen, even though it won't, is the thing that prevents me from doing things sometimes.

Absolutely amazing what your doing! Your a miracle, blessing and inspiration. Just a little critic and that might be because I’m from Germany and my English is not perfect but if you could talk a little slower and a bit less detailed it would be easier to watch your videos. It’s a little hectic sometimes and too much information about pasts and numbers. But again I have so much respect for what your doing and I’m very thankful for everything your sharing!
God bless you and greetings from Germany

Really liked seeing your week of workouts, it was really helpful for motivating me in my own training 😊 I'm gonna be slowly building up my running again in Janurary after injury, and I'm just so stoked to be running again 😁👏

Great videos! I live in Colorado so it can be difficult during winter to get myself out in the cold to run but seeing you and other runner/creators do it, makes it less of a big deal :)

Hello Amanda, can you please talk in depth about your experience with "strategically" keeping hydrated and eating before a run in public so you don't have to urinate in the middle of a run when there's not a convenient toilet or bush around? For example, do you have a cut off time for water consumption before a run, etc?

    • @mihaelam8339
      @mihaelam8339 День тому

You must know that all runners pee outside. If it's impossible, you do laps around your home or a public toilet. Even if I don't drink anything, I still have to pee. It's unavoidable.

You going snowboarding reminded me of Chris Hemsworth, in the middle of training for Limitless, went surfing for 4 hours, but it didn't count because it was fun not exercise lol
