I have a 50k in two days and i almost felt i couldnt do it. Courtney-vid pops up, now i know i'm gonna do it! Those last km on UTMB were the greatest sports moments in 2023 and beyond!
Wow. Didn't expect that a 15 minute documentary would leave me so speechless and dazzled! A brilliant film about a stupendous achievement. Just the right size, the best music and the best of cinematography! Thanks much!
I don't even think most people alive today can comprehend the scope of Courtney's achievements, you could mention it in conversation and people respond with stuff like "wow that's so cool" or "that's amazing, good for her" but they don't actually understand it because most people don't train like demons or run at all, or if they do it's like 5-10k a week so they literally have no concept of what Courtney has done, their brains can't understand the scale because they don't have any relatable reference point. This is why she is the greatest of all time in my opinion, to accomplish something so alien that the rest of us can't even understand.
Completely agree! Finishing utmb in 23 hours is literally the craziest thing. 170 km is pure insanity, a normal person doesnt even have the imagination for that!
Returning to this video after completing my first 100 miler this past weekend. You are absolutely right in saying that people cannot comprehend the scope of what she is doing. Finishing a 100 mile race for me was the most painful, mentally taxing thing I have ever done (and the race I did is in Illinois and happens to be one of the flattest ultras in the country😂) Courtney is an inspiration and her achievements are nothing short of legends.
The moment I saw a new Courtney “movie” I got so excited but also sad it was only 15 minutes 😅. Watched the whole thing with a big smile on my face. If you ever need to convince a friend why they should try an ultra race, event or whatever just show them a documentary about Courtney and her outlooks on it and that friend will go right away for a trail run!
I have never in my life seen a man unconditionally support his wife like this! It happens all the time in the reverse but it’s truly revolutionary what Kevin is doing!! He lets her completely shine and steps aside to totally support her, anticipate her needs, mold himself around her in such an unconditional way. I’m in awe!! All people deserve such support
I'm so inspired by her. She's a pioneer, she's so real, she's a beast. I'm running my second marathon in less than a month apart, peanuts compared to her prowess but for me it's this step in my long latter and I'm so happy to see her lead the way.
I just started watching videos of multiple athletes running ultras marathon from sally and now Courtney and even Nick Bare has inspired me to push my limits start and keep going until I reach my first ultra
Seriously so motivational! I am 18yrs old and I just accomplished the LT Heavy Half, I missed podium by 1, but that doesn't mean that I am stopping. I am going to continue to grow and become even stronger. Someday, I want to do the LT 100, not only to prove to myself and others, but for my dad. I know that this is what I want to do and he wants me to do. He's never finished it and I want to finish it for him. Not a lot of people understand the sport of Ultrarunning. Ultrarunning: when you need more f*** this sh*t in your life. Ultrarunning brings us companions, a team, a dream, a goal, and suffering. What would be even cooler is if I was youngest person, female to finish the LT 100. Ultrarunning is my way of coping with life, it's one of the only things that really keeps me alive. 🏃♀💪❤
I raced against Courtney (well, we were in the same race) at the 2017 Pikes Peak Marathon, when she was still an unknown. Even back then, she immediately stood out from most other runners just in her relaxed running style and excellent pacing on her way to 2nd place. She’s an excellent roll model for all of us. Best of luck in your LT100 training!
It is more inspiring than Courtney can possibly know to see her face in moments of struggle and moments of triumph and moments of joy. Thank you Courtney and Kevin and her entire Salomon team for making this film.
So humble. Wonderful human. You’re providing rungs on that ladder for all us dudes too! That pain cave reference has helped me more than anything! This film is TOO short!
I want more.... 15min is too short! But grateful for this film. Thank you..... Courtney needs to be celebrated! Amazing person! An inspiration indeed! Thank you Courtney for being y❤️u! 🐐🍕🌯🍻🏃♀️
I saw my first ultra video in March and it happened to be Courtney. After watching the video I was so inspired I decided I had to try getting into the sport myself! Fast forward to now and I only have a little over a month until my first race, a 50k, and 1 day until my first running vest, Solomon of course! Thanks Courtney and crew, and thanks to Solomon!
Ever since I first heard of Courtney, I knew she was the type of person I want my daughter to learn about and see that limits are purely in your head. Badass going to badass! Keep crushing barriers!
I love these ultra running videos! I am also a morning runner. Running in the morning just sets the mood for my whole day when I am able to get out and run.
super human yet so humble, not seeking fame or fortune just raising the bar and testing one's limit.... this is the definition of sportmanship...chapeau 🙏🙏
Courtney Dauwalter is an amazing influence on as many people who wish to avail themselves to all she has to share. I ask myself during the day 'what would Courney do right now?" Thanks Salomon TV for this! "I don't want to wonder ' what if?'"!!
Courtney, I love your mindset and your attitude. You've even got a team of strangers on the internet rooting for you:) Congratulations on your success this summer. Amazing to watch a strong woman push the boundaries of sport and human potential.
I cried ! I literally cried. I don't want to wonder what if !! Is the attitude of a champion basically Greatest of all TIME mentality !! Western States, hard Rock and UTMB ! In such a short time. So many people run 100 miles races every other month or week but to win all 3 of the most prestigious races ! Back to back and set records !!!!!!!!! and her humility and grace just so inspiring. Shes not like these other runners always blasting stuff in Instagram / social media . Her running does all the talking. So blessed to see Courtney doing what she was born to do ! And having a blast even when it's not so good. I love her hummingbird kitchen window. Love you Courtney !! ⛏️🤖🥞🇺🇸🎉
Pure heart, hard work, genuine, caring, focused, fun, positive, an inspiration for anyone and everyone on who they should strive to be as humans. The only negative thing to come from Courtney’s running career is all of the students she would have taught and shared herself with as a teacher, if only the world was full of Courtney Dauwalters!
Ok we need another hour of this, please?
I love Courtney & Kevin so much!!! I cried the whole way thru😂
Yeah for real this video is too short!
2 hours please
Seriously, how did they cram 3-100 mile races into 15 minutes?!
Someone left way too much on the cutting room floor!
GOAT! As good as the short 15 minute recap was, this should be a 3 part series!!
"I don't have a coach. I don't have a training plan."
Just GOAT things.
Just run mountains she reckons
Federer also used to be your own coach for years..
The trail running community is so lucky to have Courtney in it. Such an incredible athlete and an inspiration to so many!
Enough to make a grown man cry. Truly an inspiration, and ambassador for the sport. Thank you for representing our country with strength and grace.
GOAT TALK! It was an honor to edit this documentary. The Dau Crew is different!
Kudos to you! Such a great edit!!
I have a 50k in two days and i almost felt i couldnt do it. Courtney-vid pops up, now i know i'm gonna do it!
Those last km on UTMB were the greatest sports moments in 2023 and beyond!
Yes you've got this!!
Enjoy every minute of it! Be compassionate to yourself the entire time and keep drinking water!!!❤❤❤
Hope you did it and enjoyed it!

@@spiggott2393 Gratulations for finishing a 100 miler! That's an incredible achievement
That section of Courtney fan chaos at UTMB is hands down the craziest thing I've ever seen at running race. Courtney is the GOAT!!!
"If I get this bib on first try, we take shots" hahaha that's awesome

I'm so inspired by her. She's a pioneer, she's so real, she's a beast. I'm running my second marathon in less than a month apart, peanuts compared to her prowess but for me it's this step in my long latter and I'm so happy to see her lead the way.
One of the most inspiring people on the planet.
