It is a great scene but the two indestructible enemies fighting doing no damage gets old fast. I get they cant be cut or bruised easily but they didn't even get dirty after going through reentry. I'm not sh*tting on your opinion, its just a pet peeve of mine

They did this and people hated it... because oh no! destruction, they want fairy tales like MCU, but i guess is hard to make a fight like this when none of their heroes is even 1/4 of these 2..

When it cuts to Lois as fire rains down from orbit, it really captures how helpless mere mortals are in the face of this sort of power.
Plus, BvS makes that even more so, from Bruce Wayne's perspective.

This is arguably the best superhero fight ever. Both Superman and Zod, with similar abilities, really shook the earth, even fighting beyond the earth's atmosphere. This is a fight scene, not even Marvel comics could match.

That's why the fight scenes of Legend of the Northern blade is so awesome mountains,forests and cities are actually destroyed in their clash showing the immense power of the characters

This was just a MUCH more epic fight, along with the musical score being a masterpiece. Just imagine if marvel got Hans Zimmer to do the soundtrack for avengers endgame. Everything that man touches is gold.. Man of Steel, Interstellar, The last samurai, inception, the Dark Knight, Dune ect..
Also avengers endgame needed the fight with thor/iron man/ cap America vs thanos to be like 5min longer at least.
Endgame's actual final fight is nothing special for sure, it's just the part where everyone assembles and charges at Thanos's army that's amazing because it was built up over the years.
At first, people criticized this movie, and now that the new movies have become just disgusting, everyone realized how much "man of steel" was a cool movie.

Just noticed the for about 2 frames, when zod knocks kal backward with the I-Beam at 1:20, he hits a sign that says "this job has worked 106 days without an accident", and when he impacts the sign, the numbers fall off to change the sign to 0 days without an accident 😂

i like the way they showed how supes always holds back during each fight..how he is always careful about his powers..and how it costs him in a fight
The amount of speed and force needed to create shockwaves from punching and kicking is insane! Just one of the reasons I love this movie is how they show the power and destructiveness God level beings possess.

This is better than anything Marvel has put out after Endgame, I know this may trigger the Disney cult but if you can find a better scene then show me.
Ha, well to me at least, this is better than most of what Marvel did before Endgame as well, and that includes Endgame. I'm not a Marvel fan, but I do think Winter Soldier, Infinite War, and Thor 1 are some of their better movies. MoS on the other hand is such a great movie! Maybe a tad bit too destructive and serious for some people, but definitely what I was looking for.

To be honest, I was in awe when Superman and Zod fought while flying around Metropolis. But as to the ending of their fight, I would have gone another way with the two of them having a heat-vision like duel someplace deserted without any people, and Superman would be the victor while Zod's eyes are burnt out.
That happened on Batman v Superman Ultimate Edition when Zod Doomsday blast the heat-vision with his face.

Movie is honestly extremely underrated. The fight scenes are amazing and how superman should look. And I'm not even a fan of Snyder
kinda felt bad for zod it seemed as if he was somewhat losing his mind and as the fight progressed, he got sloppier and angrier. I honestly think kal might have held back a little for the sake of not killing zod and destroying everything in the process.
