This is a GREAT help! I knew there had to be an "easy" way to copy assets between maps, but never could figure it out. Of course, I was making life much too difficult for myself. Haha! This tutorial helps so much. Thanks for your tips and tricks, as always!
Hey! Thanks for this - glad it helped out! :) I was actually just replying to HighDef that I remember watching some of the videos that you and him did on map making! They helped me understand the basics of manipulating things for a map and, while I'm nowhere near an expert on building a map from scratch, it provided me the foundation for understanding these concepts. Huge props to you guys for doing that and keep up the great work on your tutorials as well!

I used to this same thing when creating my first map. Although, as shown in the video I only used to drag and drop required assets and files associated with it; making task much harder and annoying. This method you showed is much better!

How did i can download zip mods in last beamng drive version?
its much easier to simply move the Buildings folder from Utah to your New level, then just edit the main.materials file with Notepad++ and change the word Utah to your level name, save and your done.

Can this be done with terrain materials? I am desperately trying to get Italy grass and road edge decals into my map and I can't locate them anywhere and it's driving me nuts!
What software do you use to record video and what is its setting? What software do you edit video with and what are its settings?
I use OBS Studio to capture my gameplay and Davinci Resolve to edit. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

Sir, your tutorials are very important for us. But after I uploaded the video on UA-cam, the quality of the video got worse. But your video quality is great. What software do you use to record video and what is its setting? What software do you edit video with and what are its settings? It would be very helpful if you could make a video about this.
I would suggest you OBS, if you have an Nvidia card use the Nvenc encoder if available or else cpu encoder

What graphics card are you using? If geforce experience isn't giving a satisfactory quality, you should try OBS

@@sawonhasan4372 Edited this comment, looking further, apparently Nvidia did not add the Nvenc encoder to the gtx 1650 even though being a turing card. It has an older technology called Volta, I don't know much about this, best of luck!

Hello, I have a very specific problem and I'm hoping someone can help me. BeamNG recently added working gas stations, and I simply want to add the refuel prompt to gas stations in modded maps. It would be amazing to have a huge map to roleplay on with long road trips where I can refuel my car without it suddenly being brand spanking new

im sure ill sound silly asking this question or its been asks many time before but, do you know how to load in many, many assets at one moment (such as an entire map such as italy to west coast usa) ide like to creat a ferry ride map and connect the two maps together by water. A delightful ferry ride!
Both didnt work. In fact, the second method made it worse somehow. Not recommended
