Update: since the 0.20 game update, the default world editor has changed when pressing F11. You can still access the 'Script AI Manager' tool by now pressing F11 and going to Tools > Gameplay > Script AI Manager. I cant tell you how much this has helped me. I was doing 99% of what you are doing and I thought there had to be an easier way... but nope... it's a lot of time and effort but oh so worth it. The good thing is that you can save the paths now and you can go back to a project over and over.

I just wanted to mention that since I made this video, they've updated the game to include additional functionality such as adjusting the timing of each of the script paths. This was a super helpful addition (for me at least) to let me time crashes easier. Hey great vid, just a question, how do you deal with the IA doing weird stops or the engine making weird noises when driving slow?
I don't really have an issue with any sort of stopping but I do notice the weird noises when going slow. This is usually caused by it accelerating a weird way... like, not consistently and I don't think there's anything that can be done about it. Usually I just re-do the recording and drive slightly faster which will avoid this.

the "Tools" menu has been removed, or so i think
would love some help! I have File,Edit,View,Object,Camera,Editors, and Lighting at the top. No (Tools), not sure what I need to do.
You may be in the old version of the editor on an older version of the game possibly? First make sure your game is up-to-date and if it's still not working, you can try pressing F10 or F11 and one of them should bring up the editor that looks like mine. Good luck and let me know how it goes!
great video,but im only stuck with 1 thing that doesnt seem to work for me,is when you play it back it shows lights,sirens,on and blinkers,headlights/tail lights on when it plays back,so thats my issue,their on during recording but not playback,so whats the fix to this?
Unfortunately, they don't come on automatically with the playback. But the good news is, you can still turn them on manually during playback. So usually what I'll do is keep the game paused, play back the Script AI, activate the lights/sirens on the vehicles, then unpause which will playback the paths + have the lights/sirens on. You mean like the dashcams? I actually use a video editor to add the dashcam effect (which I created myself). Sadly, there isn't an in-game option to show a dashcam interface :(

How I get into the world editor I press shift and f11 at the same time.

Can you please teach us how to make beauty movies or camera placing angle??
I kind of touch on that a little bit in this video re: placing the camera and that's the basic concept of it. There's also an in-game 'camera' mode that can be accessed when pressing Escape to open the menu and clicking on the camera icon. Here you can adjust things like field-of-view, rotation, etc. Lastly, there is a Camera Path Editor tool allowing you to place the camera depending on the vehicle's position. It's a little more complex but I can look at possibly doing a video discussing this ;) Thanks for watching!
How do you make the replays smoother? When ever I use a controller to drive during the recordings the cars tend to have a very difficult time with smooth accelerations or smooth braking that you can't do with a controller. Unless there is a fix then it kinda ruins the whole feature for me. The cars basically will start spamming gas to maintain a speed or accelerate slow and for braking slowly they will spam the brake button.
Interesting... I think I know what you mean but I find it doesn't happen that often actually. I've only noticed this "un-smoothness" when I try to record at a fairly low speed (it also doesn't happen with all cars either)
Hey quick question at the end of the video you quickly turn the siren on and of how do you keep the lights on when you do that?
For that one I just quickly tapped the 'M' key to turn the sirens on/off quickly. Hope that makes sense & thanks for watching!

@@BNGFPlus bro when I click my F10 key IT doesn't work in beamng drive. But if I dont play beamng drive and just doing something else and then click on F10 THEN it works...

Weird... I wonder if the BeamNG screen for some reason isn't the 'active' window when you're pressing F10? As in, make sure you click on the screen before pressing F10. Only other thing I can think of is if you're using a laptop, sometimes the F keys have a secondary function so you might need to press fn + F10 for it to work. If you still can't figure it out, you might want to try the BeamNG forums, someone may be able to help you there. Good luck!

Since the 20.0 update there is a new editor that is different, which is why it no longer works
You're right, however, the 'Script AI Manager' tool is still there. It just moved to Tools > Gameplay > Script AI Manager. Hope this helps and thanks for watching :)
Im facing a big issue where if lets say i use an armored heavy car with a powerful engine it accelerates into the front normal police car
