I know what you mean but... Its easy to say that and mould it into whatever narrative we want. For instance, you can just as easily say she is looking down because she's in her own little world of fear and confusion over her sons disappearance.
There are photos of the child right on the table which she does appear to be staring and we all react differently to different things, but it does feel off. Obv this baby clip is nowhere near enough, so that’s a thing. I know I look very much like that when I am trying to not cry or even hear what’s being said. It’s possible, but staring blankly at a photo of the source of your sorrow rarely aids anyone in such endeavors either. LE hasn’t said one way or the other as well. Normally clearing the parents is step one. If you can, you do, so you can focus on a larger scale.

Dunno the case well enough but the mom’s behavior appears to be overtly intentional. The avoidance is deliberate. If there’s not a legal history here, surely there’s anecdotal something or other which is why LE has yet to confirm or deny shit.

It struck me what her thoughts may possibly be, she is recalling a memory but under the circumstances the memory would be regarding her missing son, but, for the lengrh of time she was recalling the memory of her son, it should have illicited a strong emotion of overwhelming sadness..thats not what happened so she was remembering her son but not in the way an innocent person would be. Thats just my opinion.
This is a just a major red flag. How can they be sure what happened, if they technically couldn’t know what happened. So this seems they are deflecting blame. If this was my child, I would be saying I don’t know, it could be he was taken, he could have walked away, anything. You would think someone has a door camera in that neighborhood and IF that was the case it would have been recorded. If there are no viewings. It’s likely this is just a made up story.
Looks like the father is the one police should be looking at and the mother is a spineless waste of space. He said “ we have been cleared” , in other words they found nothing. He did not say we are worried and please help us find our son.
At this point the FBI should be investigating this. Seth has made pleas to have the FBI take over this case. It’s fallen on deaf ears. Chris and Katie are probably very relieved that they aren’t taking over this case. Poor Sebastian doesn’t have an eternal resting place. He was mur*dered and stuffed somewhere under the ground. Yeah definitely not adding up and they most certainly are not cleared. The investigation is still ongoing. There is no way that boy walked out by himself. If they did not want him, why not let his father take him. This always happens. One of the parents does not want the child and instead of letting them go to someone who does want them. They end up disappearing and being found murdered or never being found again.

Perhaps the stepfather was the executor, but the mother was the intellectual author (and perhaps also the executor). The stepfather was just helping the mother.

Dad had a different answer because he was not being cooperative with LE. I can't remember the exact statement the police made but it was to the effect that mom & stepfather have been cooperative, and there's no evidence leading them to believe that Sebastian is missing by means of foul play. What is it with that segment of true crime content-watching social media users who have resigned themselves to turning the entire families & circumstances around real missing Tennessee children into a hardcore facet of their own personal identity?
Linda, I follow this case very closely. There have been no new updates. They’re being tight lipped about this. Red Flag #1 was they didn’t call 911 immediately. They called the Sheriff’s office instead. The office that Chris has 2 family members working at. Instead of calling 911 immediately, they waited until the Sheriff’s Office opened which is 9:00 am, unless he called one of his two family members on their personal cellphones.
