My first swirl find was 2023, original UK May Blitz misprint label for $40 Cdn, but my favourite find of this year is the Pink Fairies in near mint condition
My best find was a first pressing of "The Quest" from Mal Waldron, VG+ to Near Mint for 40,00 Euros 🙂 You asked for bragging, so I add Eric Dolphy "Outward Bound", first press, 15,00 bucks, another steal from last week, ....and some other great stuff. I am so with you, when you can add something really nice to your collection, this is Christmas plus birthday at once.
@@SublimMedia I bought about 80 records from this flea market dealer and some other very high grade stuff was purchased. I mention this not because I want to show off, I mention this because there is still the possibility out there to find great records for a great price. I am from Salzburg/Austria, guess how big are the chances to find old Jazz records here? Most people would say, the chances are very low, but with patience and time, even here you can find great stuff.
Great pick-ups 🙏 I've had a good amount of stuff go in the collection this year.. highlights.. Still life UK 1st May Blitz UK 1st Dreamies auralgraphic entertainment US 1st Earth and fire 1st UK Beatles yesterday and today butcher 3rd state.. The list could go on 😁
Hello my best finds 1. Little miss lost - Cynz (powerpop) 2. Songs of Moondog - Kronos 3. Hazed dream - Psychic Ills 4. Inside - Ian Parker (guitar hero) 5. Frank Zappa live at Whisky Shall try Thundertree.....
Here are my best finds since the start of 2024: 11: 3 UK original white albums, kept one and sold other two, bought for 25 GBP each 10: Selected Ambient Works 85-92, UK 1st, EXC; 70 GBP 9: Dummy, Portishead, First UK, VG+; 22 GBP 8: Let it Be, Beatles, UK 1st Red Apple no box, NM; 19 GBP 7: Unknown Pleasures, Joy Division, UK 1st VG+; 25 GBP 6: Paranoid, Black Sabbath, 1970 Repress Vertigo, NM; 50 GBP 5: Are You Experienced Hendrix, UK Track, Mono, NM; 40 GBP 4: Led Zeppelin III, UK First Press Plum, NM; 30 GBP 3: Black Sabbath Vol 4, First UK Vertigo, EXC; 25 GBP 2: In The Court of the Crimson King, King Crimson, UK Pink i First, NM; two copies 20 GBP each 1: S/T, Jackson C Frank, NM/NM; 20 GBP
@@eskeshuus5302 I'd be inclined to disagree. A repress if UK could still be the large swirl logo with no Big Bear credit. 50 spondoolies would be a bit of a steal in NM condition. Even with the small swirl logo its still a good price imo.
RCA Neon is a great label I got my copy of Spring s/t around 1992 for $150. Expensive at the time but dirt cheap now. Fantastic record. I also had a New Zealand pressing as well. Double gatefold, not triple.
Nice list! The only one I have is Shape of the Rain which is massive. Really great, and yes I've listened to the podcast Psychedelic Relics, very good. The first Warhorse has a Keef cover but also Shape of the Rain is done by Keef!
ok, had to check, these are my 10 in no particular order: Beatles, Please Please Me Gold label in vg++ (Australia 1964) My Bloody Valentine Tremolo EP Miles Davis Filles de Kilimanjaro US 1st stereo Ride Nowhere LP+ 2 eps Love Forever Changes early Us press Joy Division Closer 1st UK Pink Floyd Piper, 1st UK stereo VU & Nico, mono US second state (lawsuit sticker) Teenage Fanclub Bandwagonesque Wailing wailers 1971 Jamaica, not first press but early Bob Dylan, 1st US six-eye stereo Not bad when I look at it!
My favourite find is from two weeks ago. Heron - Heron 1970 UK on Dawn for €150 which is pretty cheap hence the median on Discogs is €255. I also got the first two albums by Cymande, first pressings and a NM Japanse copy of Led Zeppelin IV. I can’t exclude Clube Da Esquina by Milton Nascimento, the best record ever to come out of Brazil in my opinion :)
Best finds are a white label promo of the 1st US Savage Resurrection and 1st US SRC. So wish Long Hair did From Books and Dreams! Best I have had a chance to get was a Brazilian press but still way too much!
Intresting… Vol 4, not amongst the 10.😮 One of my oldtime favorites. I have stopped collecting vinyl records. I think it have been to expensive. It would be nice if you could show your stereo equipment👍
Discovered some gems again, thanks to you! Really enjoyed Hard Stuff and Dzyan.
10 beauties there, awesome stuff. Floating Bridge I was unfamiliar with and the Message lp is a definite want.

Oh that triple gate fold is so cool. Never seen a copy. Wish I had all Neons 😀

Ooooo. Nice finds. That Savage is such an iconic record. Ten out of ten. And a promo!! SRC is also a ten in my book!!
Intresting… Vol 4, not amongst the 10.😮
One of my oldtime favorites.
I have stopped collecting vinyl records.
I think it have been to expensive.
It would be nice if you could show your stereo equipment👍
