Understanding the full context of street fighting is half of the success in surviving. The man really knows what is talking about...

Pattern interrupt, deception, misdirection, dodges the street predator uses which we can and must use against them. Understanding the predator is essential to turn him into prey. THANK YOU.

Good advice. Another is to say something like, "Hey George, how have you been? It's been a while." This makes the guy's brain think a few things: "George? I'm not George. But do I know this guy? How do I know him?" etc.

It's amazing what you can learn from the Three (3) Stooges and from the "Master of Mis-Direction" Professor Lee Morrison!!! VERY educational Sir !!! Having been in the entertainment field for awhile I was able to utilize my somewhat limited talent in dangerous situations. In fact, when I was attending a Bruce Lee Foundation Event in Vegas, I couldn't afford to stay in one of the nicer hotels and as I was on my way there a gent was following me and all of a sudden I got into the middle of the street and started arguing with myself, needless to say, he thought I was NUTS and left me alone... Brain engagement a powerful tool to have in one's self defense belt !!! Thank You Sir !!!

Excellent! The brain engagement is required to make the opponent momentarily unprepared so that he is not able to brace himself before the punch or strike lands on his jawline. This will induce a brain shake resulting in a possible knockout.
Thank you for this video and all your other videos! Very, very useful!

In the self-defense pyramid, MINDSET comes first, then STRATEGY then the SKILLSET and TOOLS. Tactics are an essential part of a viable self-defense system. Particularly for us ladies.

I'm always extremely wary of those who act with faux-friendliness whilst giving off very hostile aura, a lot of predatory attackers try these distraction games prior to an attack. I can see this being a vital survival tool if cornered or outnumbered.

Pre-fight is the most important part of self-defense, where decisions are taken in the fraction of a second.🤪

If you start to cry and breakdown it both detracts and takes some of the fight out of your opponent giving you a better counter attack with a less hyped opponent. This requires much practice with your inner self before hand though.
