This guy really gets it, as a Muay Thai fighter, and mixed martial artist, i must agree with him on what he said, Thai fighters do have another mentality, the real ones. Mister Morrison my upmost love & respect... - Stay Blessed - - Peace - 🙏❤✌
Great system. I'm always on the lookout for reality based training and I heard of Lee Morrison from Idan Abolnik who complimented this system, Idan is ex Israeli special forces and founder of the Kalah system. Kalah Combat is by far the best combat system in South Africa and his tactical training, arresting and cuffing techniques, anti-hijacking etc are second to none and very relavent to the violent crime experienced in SA. But from a hand to hand combat system point of view, if you like Lee's style, you will also appreciate the aggressive Kalah style. Will appreciate any other such reality based systems if anybody knows of any. Thumbs up to Lee Morrison, new follower 👍
Very good. An honest and very thorough analysis of the often discussed question: How would MMA fighters (without streefighting experience) do on the streets?
John Wayne Parr got into a bar brawl once and someone smashed a steel bar stool over his head and almost killed him. Ever since then he has done everything to avoid fights outside the ring. As someone who understood violence, that terrified him.
The last time I got drunk, I defended someone from a group of bullies and got a steel heavy stool on my head, woke on my knees! 11 years ago.. Morale of the story, don’t get drunk in crazy places!
I can accept a lot of ideas what Le expresses here except about Vale-Tudo. In the old school, original Vale-Tudo, there had no rules, time limit, judges and scores. Even groin strikes, eye gouging, biting, scratching, hitting the back of head, soccer kicking to the grounded opponent, and small joints manipulations were allowed. The only difference of Vale-Tudo and the street was that Vale-Tudo was still a sport where individuals could fairly test their fighting abilities against each others in the one vs one way without using any weapons. When it comes to the street, no body fights to test their fair fighting skills. People would always cheat, and seek for the opportunity what they have and what their prays do not have. Le was talking here about the Vale-Tudo system which was introduced to Japan. Not the Brazilian original Vale-Tudo. We are doing the Brazilian style in Srilanka now.
I saw when a trained fighter got Into a bar fight.. it killed the other guy and Detectives were investigating a homicide.. They saw that the guy that got killed was the aggressor but still charged the other guy with involuntary
I think this whole street fighting thing is well exaggerated، yes there are dangerous criminals out there, but believe me most people in the street don't know how to throw a punch.
But they know how to gang up... the element of surprise ...sucker punches.... using weapons... and no problem with killing someone. If it were only about throwing a punch.. it would be a lot easier.
Fortunately, you are correct. However, and Lee eluded to this, you need to train in the rare event you need to respond against a violent, uncontrolled attack. Prayerfully, it never happens. Unfortunately, while rare, it does.
Well, the UK law is strong as is the Russian one. Anyway, you can find a lot of useful tools in a gardener's shop or DIY. Do carry them at you or at least in your car at hand... You got it? At least buy a regular pen but made of metal or a pressurized dose of spray against wesps or hair lack.... 😘 that will do it in the court when caught crippling the attacker. 🛂

I've often wondered if you tapped out with an MMA fighter in the street, how many would automatically stop.
Great video
Merci

One universal weapon that you can take anywhere is actually a cane walking stick curved one content even take it on a plane

Those r not real street thugs... Convicts are and r opportunist; have to fight to survive in prision...

You don't understand. 99.9% of people are not proficient in knife skills and yet 99% of trained fighters will get cut defending a knife attack.
Man slaughter. He got 7 years...
