another great comparison review. they are both great in their one ways, i just wish the DJI was waterproof, or something extra, considering the uk is wet/snowy and dark the bulk of the year! the lowlight performance looked brill, just need it waterproof for those people who don't live in glorious sunshine the majority of the year! wishing you a great weekend.
What was your settings for the X3? It look bright outside but your footage look grainy and lesser detailed, which it shouldn't be. It would be nice to see what settings have been used.

I have the Pocket 2 (by the way also pretty stunning for its age) and the X3. It depends on your usage. I like to film versatile. On motorcycle, hiking or just nonsense. I never used higher resolutions than 1080p because i only show fottage on phone or tablet. The Pocket is not recommended during running, rain, dust, everything with water, fast camera movements and Motor sports. The Insta has the lower image quality. Bot cameras are tricky to use in manual mode.I only miss a nice slow motion mode on the insta. If you dont relate too much on the imagequality the Insta is the more versatil choice.
X3 is terrible. I have it and use it often but truth is that image will satisfy you only in good conditions like very very good light or very smooth movement with good settings. In low light X3 make a lot of noise and artifacts. Even in sunny day when you use it on bike and go to forest then you will see that image quality is not good. I use it on bike for recording everything around me, for example when cycling with cars I use it as dash cam. When cycling on trip then use it for some shots when I need two hands on handlebars or to shot something as third person. Pocket 3 stabilization is perfect even in low light because it is mechanical. These two cameras are two different types of cameras and use cases are different. It's like comparing some van car with sport car. Which is better? - Depends what you need.
The X3 doesn't do anything with the selfie stick. There is a blind spot around the camera when close to its body. The selfie stick just goes right into side blind spot and thus becomes "Invisible".
You just slightly mentioned the video quality but on the 4k monitor, it's almost impossible for me to watch such poor quality comming from Insta360 compared to Pocket 3. Thanks for the comparison!
Hello, I watched your cool, good, interesting videos. Please tell me which camera is better in your opinion. DJI OSMO POCKET 3 or INSTA 360 ACE PRO...which camera would you personally buy for video blogging...thank you very much for your answer...
X3 is a no go because in the end its all about the video quality which the P3 dominates. Weather proof the P3? What professional gimble has that, especially when you have a mechanical gimble. Mechanical is much preferred over digital. Comparing the two, I'd grab for the P3 over the X3 any day... Insta360 will be making a debut mid November of a new camera.. let's see what they've done.
I've never returned anything faster than the insta360 x3. You need it to be super wide and it has to be in very bright sunlight for it to look barely usable.
The conclusion is that if you got I phone 15 pro max and if you want to show the world to the people and love visiting different spots and want to capture in unique way then absolutely insta and for a the people who already have a good phone , I don’t think they need DJI at all. 360 is best guys
a phone is to film others and the 3P is to film yourself! seems like you did not look much into the reality of how these cameras can and are supposed to be used
I'm not sure why he got a grainy footage for X3. It look bright where he was walking, so the X3 shouldn't have that bad quality. It almost looks like he didn't have the right settings for it. I've been to Hawaii, very bright most of the time out there during the summer, but I still get great 360 footage.
2 totally different cameras. The Pocket smashes the Insta for video quality but the Insta gets shots others can't.

Both are great videos, but I would stay with the X3 if you already purchase it. It's awesome for creative shots.

Can you tell me how will work if you put your dji osmo pocket 3 camera on insta 360 stand. Will that be stable? It will help me know before buying it
I am trying to figure out which camera to get between these two but I've been leaning towards the X3 because I can then frame my shot later in post.

Depends what your using it for but for me because the Ace Pro is waterproof so it wins

Everything that I see shot on the Insta360 has that fish eye look is it possible to make it look like a normal shot?
Yes it has a standard 4k lens mode if you don’t want 360

i like dji , because dji is good for low light , but x3 is not good.

Great review, but the quality of the X3 footage is horrible, anyway, I would probably also choose that ;-)

Silly review, you cant compare these camera's, coz they are DIFFERENT!
