Seen this live in Manchester in 88 and it was awesome one of the many highlights of the gig but the sound of it was out of this world thank you so much Obi Wan you've nailed it yet again my friend and made a old man very happy ❤👍👏
I don't know where to start. Firstly - the editing and imagery is better than the PF releases. I was a 12 year old at Pulse, and have followed PF and Gilmour ever since. A few weeks ago I saw him at the Albert Hall. I had all bases covered, and I had seen some of this footage over the last decade in parts. I even bought the Atlanta Omni footage years ago. The new DSOT box set meant I didn't need it though. This was one of the songs that was missing. I have watched this, and just can't believe it. Firstly, I can see how you have filled gaps and have no issue there - admirable. But you have footage, and of a huge quality, that just seems unbelievable. The intro with the lasers is one of the best visual reproductions of this tour I have seen bar none. I am fascinated.
I even didn't know that there is a performance of this song that was also recorded in Nassau that year... ) Thanks, man. You are bringing to life my oldest dreams... )
If you are on a PC check the soundcard/OS settings; sometimes Windows mess up things and for some reason make the sound louder on my FR as well which get solved after a hard restart. Let me know how it goes, thank you for stopping by!
Finally YOU did it Obi Wan! I have been waiting for this so many years, in terms of muldimedia show "Welcome to the Machine" was the best part of the 19987-89 Momentary Lapse of Reason shows, which I witnessed in Dortmund in 88 and in Cologne in 89. I wonder how you got hold of the cans or the digitalized material but it does not really matter the result is absolutely brilliant. An interesting thing would be to see all your remastered versions in a row, in the correct sequence. Could you do the same with "The Wall"-Shows e.g. "Divided we fall" - Live at Earl's Court August 09th .1980 which seem to be the best raw material that survived....?
Good question, in fact, it was never included on any official release since 1987, maybe because it was written by Roger and due to rights thing. Thank you for stopping by!
Hey James, thank you so much for the kind words. By your question I guess you are not familiar with my channel and probably didn't read the description below either. This is an adaptation I made, using the official DSOT 2019 and applying to it some of video edit and some effects I designed matching their live performances back then. I also processed the videos (Gerard Scarfe's background animation and live takes) to improve its quality, giving it more overall realism and also remixed the soundtrack into 5.1 surround, it's pretty much what I usually do here in the channel.
So is the onstage footage from the rehearsal? I thought it strange that it was omited from the 2019 Later Years Box Set Blu-Ray extras dispite Terminal Frost and a New Machine live cuts bieng amongst the goodies. Feels a bit like Genesis with their Invisible Touch Tour Wembley.4 nights, multiple camera angles and nobody thought to record the In the cage Medley?
@@TheForce_Productions ahhh right okay. Well, anyway its excellent and i would have given you a £super thanks if you had one. Still a bit miffed though, remembering the original VHS release, you had the Repise of Shine on you crazy diamond over timelapse from the back of the colisuem, with the crane cameras zipping around and footage from machine is certainly in there. Best use of the fibre optic "floyd droids" were for this tune (as seen on the Paris 89 fan footage) yet it doesnt make the cut,or Another Brick Part 2.

Yeah, I knew about like Moscow performance in 1989, but I didn't know they have this footage from Nassau...
@@davidrawzen8232tune into the outtakes of Delicate Sound of Thunder and you'll find a excellent version friend
Saw it at Wembley in 1988 and again in the docklands in 1989 awesome.
The 5.1 mix seemed very right front dominant.

I was at both of those. The Wembley gig was awesome. The quadrophonic sound sounded incredible that night.
Saw this in Paris facing Versailles castle in june 88, a wonderful and unforgetable evening
Great work. This is probably the closest thing we'll ever get to a pro-shot from this song.
Glad you liked it man, thank you for taking part and the kind words!
Amazing. Never heard this version before and a great video edit too.
Glad you've enjoyed it, and thank you so much for the kind words man!

finally tou did it ! Thanks
I believe I saw the pre-the-Wall 3:22 animation in 76 or 77 somewhere in the Bay Area, probably Oakland. I was mesmerized.
Amazing❤
Wow exellent i naver seen this track made by Delicate sound of thunder 😮
I guess they never released a live version of this song since 1987 due to rights related thing to it. Glad you liked it, thank you for stopping by.
@@TheForce_Productions Can i know how you get this video form 1988 ?
My friend, the information was always in the description below and in the video overlay; I made this video, it is an adaptation i created.
Perhaps this is more satisfate 🎉
You make this work very well i hope i will see next time something from Atom Heart Mother 😂
Gracias Óbit❤

Dear friend, Obi, great job, sound is amasing! Thank you so much for the pleasure. What show is this audio from?
The date is that's shown in the overlay in the beginning of the video; it's August 20th 1988; thank you for the kind comment.
Meraviglioso!!!!
Complimenti!!!
Yup, saw this version in September of '87. Why was this live performance not included on Delicate Sound of Thunder?
Good question, in fact, it was never included on any official release since 1987, maybe because it was written by Roger and due to rights thing. Thank you for stopping by!
Where the hell did you get this? They didn't even include it on the Later Years box set......the video performance that is.
Have you read the description below? This is an adaptation I created reproducing their live performances back then in the tour.
Hola maestros tanto tiempo.
