19th Month - (It’s a BOY!) NO filter, NO CO2, NO Ferts 5 Gallon Nano Tank

  • This is 19th month update. Turns out, Loomster is a sparkling gourami male. He started croaking mostly at night. He started to hunt the shrimp, but I haven’t seen him eat one yet. The yellow tuxedo guppies are fighting often. I never knew these guys were so violent toward each other. They don't bother anything else in the tank, though. I did see one nibble at the nerite's antennas. The plants are growing very fast. I think it’s b/c the temps are higher these days.

It appears I did an oopsie. The entire video is supposed to be in the 500s, not 600s. The very first scene is supposed to be day 563, not day 663. I go by the date in the camera file. I made a mistake in the very first scene, and the rest became wrong. It'll be the correct days in the next video.

You could make the best of it and start experimenting with alternate timelines - eventually the inhabitants of both timelines meet and exchange information with each other and everybody learns a valueable lesson along the way.

Hopefully you can continue doing this past 600 days! Love this tank. I’m thinking of doing my own. Also, what do you do with all the hornwort and duckweed? You should sell it or make a goldfish tank and feed it to them. Love what your doing!

Your videos are beautiful and peaceful, I love watching them! Your attention to detail and comments make these tiny little creatures so interesting to watch, that I wish I had some of my own. Maybe I’ll just try a goldfish in a bowl first....
