Oh my goodness, Laura - that is so me. I absolutely always blast my grand plans for boundaries and personal time to get a few more things done. And then I burn out so hard because I never have any down time. Truth is, I'm a workaholic, but now that I have four kids, it just doesn't work anymore. It's a constant struggle.

Please tell us more about how you handle your to-do lists. Also, I accepted your challenge to schedule time daily for my passion. I will try to rotate between reading, letter writing and crafts. Thanks for the inspiration!

I have a lot of distractions that I need to go help someone with. I make a list but know it may or may not get done today. Some days I fly by the seat of my pants.

I would love it if you could go in depth with your planning system. You said something about putting something on the master list if you didn’t get it accomplished …how do you use your master list? How often do you review and change the master list? So many questions
    Thank you so much!!

I have recently become a stay-at-homeschooling Mom who manages a side hustle business and Investment property. My planning strategy involves 1. A Master To-Do list that has been broken up into categories; 2. Each category is assigned to a day of the week. I only have a few hours every day that I can dedicate to my To-Do list because the rest of the day involves taking care of my toddler and/or doing the five core Chores: Cook; Laundry; Dust/Vacuum; Dishes and Bathrooms.
When I was working with no kids my categories (Sun to Sat) were : CHURCH/ADMIN/BIBLE STUDY/PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT/SELF-CARE/HOBBIES/CHORES
    Now I’ve adjusted them as follows: CHURCH/HOMESCHOOLING PREP/BIBLE STUDY/BUSINESS/PERSONAL CARE/HOBBIES/CHORES
I use a note book that has subject dividers, so when a “To-Do” pops into my head, I can write it in a category list. Then on that category day, I review the list of things to do. As a result, somethings that I’d usually do on one day shifts to another so that I can allow for new responsibilities. Over the years, I’ve found that I just have to adjust what sort of “To-Dos” a category may include. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I push myself to the detriment of my health, saying up too late, although I worked hard all day.

I’d love a video on how you manage your to dos and especially master task list vs list for week or day. Mine are always a mile long and I’ve tried multiple methods of managing master to dos/daily to dos and haven’t settled on one that truly works for me.
