Code readers are near worthless. Any number of different sensors cause the same problems. What we need is a code reader that tells you what sensor is bad. A reader that you can directly plug each individual sensor and see if it is good or bad. A reader specifically for that car and year. I have two Mercedes. I bought a specific code reader for that car $800 bucks. Still it was not helpful. Dealers, who spend, many thousands of dollars, are the only ones who may be specific to an individual sensor. I can measure ohms in comparison to one sensor to another, but that isn't fool proof either, when the sensor can't be tested under a voltage load.
Get a fixed , it tells you everything. The code, in plain English Whats wrong with the car. How much it would cost to fix it,and where to take it in your area. And if you want to sell it, it will tell you what carfax will give you for the car. Nice gadget. Try it.
@@bobsoto7632 ? I have two specific code readers for Mercedes. But they don't tell you what parts to replace just the system fault. Example. Misfire. But doesn't tell you specifically why there's a misfire. So a person has to apply guesswork and trial and error.

I CHANGED out the MAF and the light went off problem solved.now I can pass my emissions test.😊
I have a stalling in low gear, I cleand the MAF, clean the trottle body, still no change but this problem it occure only during summer time, the shops already check it they found no problem, no engine light. Maybe I have injectors problem not MAF.
Throttle valve positions in a Seat Leon diesel car are dynamically controlled by the engine control unit (ECU) to regulate air flow based on driving conditions for optimal performance and efficiency.

Hi! The P219E code on your Honda Accord indicates a problem with the fuel trim in bank 2. This code is typically related to a lean condition, which could be caused by a variety of issues including faulty injectors, vacuum leaks, or even a faulty oxygen sensor. While changing the coils and plugs could potentially improve engine performance and efficiency, it is unlikely to solve the underlying issue causing the P219E code. If you suspect that the injectors may be causing the problem, it would be best to have a qualified mechanic diagnose the issue further before replacing any parts. This will help ensure that you are addressing the root cause of the problem and not just throwing parts at the issue.
If your gonna keep the car for a long time it’s worth it to have the fuel injectors replaced. Well worth the money to fix and it will run a lot better!
This all fine and dandy, but check this out my friends, my 2001 Toyota tundra threw 2 codes, upper bank 02 and a transmission code, what! The MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor and the MAS (Mass Air Sensor) are both components of a vehicle's engine control system, but they serve slightly different functions. The MAF sensor measures the amount of air entering the engine, which is used by the engine control unit to calculate the correct air-fuel mixture for combustion. This helps to ensure optimal engine performance and fuel efficiency. On the other hand, the MAS sensor is responsible for measuring the mass of air entering the engine, as well as the temperature of the air. This information is also used by the engine control unit to adjust the air-fuel mixture and optimize engine performance.

They are the same component.. some ppl call it mas/mass airflow sensor and someppl call it maf/mass air flow sensor.. the confusion comes by ppl separating the work "Airflow" to "Air Flow" hope this helps. Its the same exact component now there is a MAP sensor which stands for " Manifold Absolute Pressure" Sensor
Those sensors are the same they measure the air flow coming in an example 1.8 liter engine. Should be pulling 1.8 to 1.9 grams per second that is to overcome the parasitic loss of the motor then divide by the into each cylinder to produce right air fuel ratio for each cylinder

what happens if you leave it unplugged?
So then what is a MAP sensor and how do you know if it's faulty?
Would the engine management light show with all the 17 signs?
I am just puzzle about the engine light so good question though.
Absolutely not. The light would come on if certain parameters are met.
Yes
Not necessarily. Just on cold days maybe. Depending on how bad it is
But what makes the car to perform better in a colder rain days ?
