Got a '23 GX460 with OEM electronically adjustable front suspension and rear air suspension. Dont like the rocking back and forth motion at lower speeds turning into a corner or at an intersection witv a road height difference. Theows me all over the seat. Looking to stiffen up and eliminate rhis and get a "flatter" ride. Dont need/want any lift beyond stock. What options would ypu recommend? Thx!
This is a tough one. I haven't played with the newest version of a Luxury package yet. The older version wouldn't throw any lights if you just unhook the connectors. But I'd have to look at the newer stuff.
Nice video Cody, where are you ordering these suspension parts from? Can i get the parts # for the rear coils? i wanna do the exact lift kit thank you.
How do you compare this set up to the Eibach stage 2 pro kit for a GX460? It seems like the Billsteins are a bit larger, but the Eibach has the adjustable collar vs. the static settings of the Billsteins.
Looks nice,Just got a brand new GX but looks like the suspension is not lean,do you know whats the high setup all the way around on the factory suspension?
I'd assume you have a Luxury package with the rear air suspension? The height adjustment is only in the rear on a GX. ua-cam.com/video/ot0Bp-qULnc/v-deo.htmlsi=9_pDByVo7B7LaszY
1, they're built to an application, not a price point. The ride quality changes noticeably without being harsh. The stock shocks are under sprung and over damped. Causes harshness down in the stroke and nose dive under braking. Secondly, the stock front shock is technically a coil-over-shock. Although not an adjustable one. As opposed to a strut which acts as a steering axis and suspension locating element.
@@CodyCrafted that’s super helpful thank you. I thought the Tokicos would be better for normal comfy street driving but maybe enthusiast drive their gx460 more sporty and it feels too sofa like? I understand why aftermarket would be better for trail riding though given the spec they are built to.
Your content is awesome.. I work in my driveway and I am UA-cam certified 😅. I just got a 2012 GX 460 with 85,000 miles. Rust😢.. but I will manage. I have a family so we want a great ride on the streets but we are going to start some forest road camping and then some national parks. I tow a trailer. So many options. Definitely would appreciate help with building a package.
Looks like OME and Bilstien have options available. We prefer to build around goals, not just parts, however. Shoot me an email cody@codycrafted.com I'd be happy to discuss
Great video!
Have 21 GX. At how many inches up, do you need to purchase control arms? Looking at Lexus parts bilstein 5100 for a 2 inch lift.
2.5 it's mandatory. I prefer at pretty much any lift due to ball joint range of motion and overall droop

I like the eibach kit just fine. We had a budget to stay within and this kit was on sale at the time.

Nice overview
Thanks for watching
How is this better than the oem tokicos? Those are great, just because you need coil overs for height?

Sounds good man, shoot me an email or call cody@codycrafted.com
Any snap rings used on the back 5100s or just keep it at the stock level and let the Eibachs lift it?
Rear doesn't work the same as the front
@@CodyCraftedMakes sense, thanks. Any issue with KDSS lean at this height?
@CBoston gotta throw a shim in the rear if so without coilovers. I take it case by case
Where did you get Branick strut compressor stand
It is just a repurposed engine stand.
@@CodyCraftedgreat idea, thanks!!
