At approximately 7 minutes in you'll see PB Blaster sprayed onto a brand new rubber bushing. Why do people still do this? Most penetrating oils contain petroleum distillates (PB blaster has a high concentration) that break down rubber like it's their job! A small amount of pure silicone lube or liquid/spray is one of your safest choices to assist press-in. Using penetrant oils on any rubber bushing will without a doubt shorten it's service life!
Hey, you don’t need too open them and we haven’t had any adverse affects, since we’re doing it on a lift and everything is pretty accessible we can make it work. You can loosen the valves to make it easier just be careful but you can do it without.
Great video! Regarding the first step.......Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question but your not actualy de-pressurizing the kdss system are you? I know that takes a very expensive special tool that only the dealerships and select shops have. I'm not very mechanical inclined but my buddy is and I am just making sure he wont have to do that when he is replacing my shocks and lower control arms.
They’re only disconnecting the brackets that connect the fixed link and the hydraulic link to the rear sway bar. In the front they’re just disconnecting the fixed link. They’re moving brackets, not doing anything with the hydraulic fluid directly.
Does the 2885 coil give 2.5" of lift on a GX460 with no bumper or weight added to front? Also I load up about 500lbs of gear for weekend overloading trips. Which OME coil do you recommend for rear? 2889 or 2898 ? Would I need 2" or 2.5" in rear? I have 285/70/17 tires. any feedback is greatly appreciated!
We would recommend the 2898 as it will be able to with stand the extra weight to the vehicle! Now, without the extra gear in the vehicle, it may ride stiff but it's a give and take.
Best vid out there on strut replacement. Thank you
Glad it helped
Great video! Whwn do you put the lower clamp back onto the KDSS fixed point and how did you do it?
Can you please give me a list of all the components that were used in this arrangement?

what wheels and tires are being ran on this vehicle it looks great.
Does this lift work with air ride suspension on 2023 GX Luxury?
same question.
Ditto
You need to remove air ride to do the lift, so no.
Do you not have to open the shutter valves on the accumulator for the KDSS? Thanks for the awesome video!

with a 2.5 lift the KDSS functions normally?
Most of the times 2 in is limit
Would you suggest the heavy rear coils for occasional towing?
Are the strut spacers mandatory? If so, which side of the front struts should it be installed? Thank you
Would also like answers to the KDSS questions that were already asked.
Ask away!
@@yotamafia you answered them thank you
Do you have to do the upper control arms or can you run stock arms. Also did you lengthen break lines and drop your differential?
Brakelines and UCAs are highly recommended but not required if the lift is under 3". Diff drops cause more problems than they do fixing.
Did you undo 2 screws the kdss valve body? Just received the kit from you guys

Do you torque the UCAs with the vehicle on the ground?
Do you have to jack truck on all 4s to disable kdss ?
Hello, it's highly recommended.
how much more ground clearance did you all add by doing this? and what size tires are those?
285/70/17
What size and offset wheels please?
@@bachakil4388 the wheels are 17 inches (not sure about the width) and the offset looks similar to 0 offset wheels I’ve seen.

Can you please tell me the size of the wheels and tires on this build
This GX460 we used 285/70/17 tires and 17” wheels.
what kind of blue paint is the portly gentleman using?
cross check torque seal!
Portly? I don't know where you are from but where I live that gentleman is skinny as a rail.
Can you just lift it or is there a switch you gotta disable to insure the air ride dont damage
All the air ride suspension and air bags is disabled, we removed the rear airbag suspension entirely.
On the Premium trim there is no air suspension. On the Luxury trim there is, but it generally has to be removed for a lift.
Do you know how to fix the KDSS lean ?
You can fix a KDSS Lean with a spacer or adjusting a coilover!
Do you need KDSS spacers for this install?
We didn’t use any KDSS spacers but I would recommend something like DR KDSS which would help but they aren’t required.
Does anyone knows if there is a lowering kit for a gx460?
Terrible video 😂 but helpful!
Why so terrible??
@@yotamafia prob editing not important stuff.
This is terrible. You actually released this?
What's so bad about it?
