Hi Chang! Thanks for the video. I have checked it few days back that few general courses aren’t available in Sophia. However, the rest of the general courses and all the 11 electives can be taken from Sophia. I’m also planning to take this route... Hope we can do it well.💪🏻
Yup we can’t find all courses there but there are still a lot that we can study.
Will let you know how much progress I could go in 1 month with Sophia.

Thanks for the video. I strongly recommend you taking other general and elective courses on Sophia Learning. I already transferred many courses (around 20 courses within 2 months) from Sophia and now I can focus on studying major courses

Hi Chang! UoPeople allows you to take upto 4 courses in a single term if you maintain a 3.00 GPA. I hope this helps.

I even don’t remember what I learnt from English composition at UoPeople. I saw it as a subject for me to get used to the study frame at UoPeople and also for adding some good score to my GPA.
I already had experience in speaking English for a long while before I enrolled UoPeople. Don’t expect too much from the English course at UoPeople ;)

I haven’t finished my study yet
I’m currently working for my own business and don’t have any plan working for any company with this degree
But I believe Studying this program could broaden the knowledge of the field im really interested in learning and besides earning the degree is a bonus.

It’s really up to you whether you want to take more time learning the important courses or not or just want to pass it easily for the score

Yes you can
They do send the hard copy to your home. So no worry

Yes that’s what I want to give a review in next videos. Elective courses are also not easy peasy as I thought. Assignments and Exams are big deal too.

Do you think it would be maybe good to make the Sophia computer science and mathematics credit points before starting at UoPeople? I think about applying later this year and until then doing Sophia first because it’s easier for me right now.

Yup it’s possible if you study all general courses at Sophia in short time and finish major courses at UoPeople during 3yrs.

1: is it possible to change your degree of study, say from an associate degree to bachelors degree
Associate program is same as the first 2 years of bachelor. You could study associate, get the degree certificate then study 2 more years to get the bachelor instead of studying again 4 years for the bachelor

I think because you study Computer Science in general they will teach you a bunch of languages. Like I've already done with Python and Java. And I think it will be more after.

Hey, Chang! Say I have been granted with a scholarship and I have already used up all the granted money over 10 courses and I have difficulties paying course fees, do I have the freedom to delay my studies? Also, how do I withdraw from the university before classes start?
You always could skip courses if you can’t pay or manage time for studying. But note that you can’t delay it too long. If im not wrong, it’s better not skipping no more than 4 continuous terms
If you feel that you can’t take next term you need to apply for leave of absence before the upcoming term start. It’s in UoP portal, My course section then click Request Leave of Absence

Can I start some of the courses on Sophia while I wait for school to start? Can I study any courses or start with those for first year. I will be starting next month.
I think you better enroll the school first, pass some basic subjects at UoPeople like English and Online Strategies to become an approved Degree seeking student then you can start Sophia courses whenever you want. It’s better that way ;)

I don’t know there’s anybody yet doing so but in my opinion it’s a yes because it’s a legit accredited certificate so it’s possible to use for applying higher study level mostly in America and also in Europe.
That’s actually my plan to apply for Master in the US campus after finishing this degree.

@@burhaanhajicolaadbk2456 what you mean? Did you already enroll the school? Are you accepted for UoPeople? If you are, you will be auto signed up in some courses for sure.
@@burhaanhajicolaadbk2456 if not I think it’s probably the case you are late for new term registration. You could wait for next term to sign up. There’re totally 5 terms per year you could start in any term you want actually.

If you study more than that, of course the period of time will be shortened. Depend on your capability
