Man. Finally a video that explains it better than the manufacturer does. I just ordered their tuner for my 18 Griz With their airbox filter and lid and tip. Doing exhaust soon too. Can’t wait to get it
I have a 500 KQ . Great machine. Machined the clutch made a world of difference. I just wish it had the velocity programmer like the 750 does. Great video!
I went with the quiet version HMF Titan w Optimizer tuner. My '19 Grizz is mainly used for trails...on public land. Gains are more low to mid with the backpressure provided by the quiet system. The gains on the loud systems are more in the high rpm range, where I don't need them, and that loud sound would get old pretty quick, especially if Mr. ranger puts a DB meter on it-then writes a noise violation ticket...the minor gain increase you get with the louder systems are not worth it over the quiet option, for my use.
Don't know if your gonna use your grizzly for work or not, but I have a polar 1500 trailer that I pull with my grizzly 700. Very nice and durable trailer for the price, highly recommend. I load mine down with firewood and the grizzly pulls it like it's not even back there depending on the lay out of the land.
@@banshee100 Yes they are. Knock on wood the only thing I had to replace/repair on my 2011 grizz was a battery and a rear axle boot. What do you think of that engine braking on yours? I have pulled that trailer loaded with wood down some fairly steep hills in low range 4wd and that grizz will crawl down it at 3mph without touching the brakes. I think you made a great choice getting your grizz. Take er easy and keep up the great videos.

I just got a 2019 kodiak 700. Black one. The grizzlies must have a lower gear ratio and I imagine they would have to win the bigger tires. But stock I’ve twisted her out many times to a max of 65 and 62 is pretty easy. . I would like to get a little bit bigger tires at some point and have thought about exhaust. It really won’t pull any wheelies in high unless coming up over a bump or out of a ditch caught me off guard. Thought it would do a better job keeping up with my brothers can am commander 1000 but I get walked on bad. Thanks for the video
They both have exa6 the same ratio. Only difference is the Kodiak has heavier roller weights, 30gm vs 18gm. This allows the Kodiak to stay in a lower "gear" longer for utility work. The grizzly rpm ramp up fast with the light weights giving that sporty takeoff.
