I couldn't agree more with you! I happened, just by chance, to buy a 2008 Grizzley 700 used for $4k. Normally I do a ton of research but it was such a good deal I made a quick purchase. We also have a 2007 Polaris Sportsman 800 X2 EFI and there is no comparison. The Griz is, in every way, a FAR superior quad! And I dare say it's the best used quad there is. I'm currently looking for another one so I can dump the Polaris. I'd rather have this older Yamaha than a new machine.

Great review on your 07 Grizzly 700!! I have the exact same machine, color and all. The Grizzly 700's are one of the best machines out there in my opinion. But one thing I noticed on your machine is that you're running in km/h instead of miles per hour. So really you only have about 6,264 miles on your machine. The top speed on mine stock was 68 mph, but in km/h, it's over 100. I just wanted to point that out in case you haven't realize that yet. It's quick and easy to switch back over to mph. Your owner's manual will tell you how to switch it over if you decide to. If you set your trip meter, it's nice to know just how many real miles you've traveled if thinking in miles. I hope this helps, and thanks for sharing your video!!

@@KennyReviews1 Thanks for your kind words Kenny! Yeah I love living here in Alaska, and I just can't see leaving this place. I moved up here from Nashville TN in 1990, and I just love it here. Yeah, yamaha and Hondas are my two favorite brands on most everything they make. As my job, I fix and repair 4 wheelers, motorcycles, snowmobiles, and pretty much anything with a small engine. I've always loved it, so that's what I do. I've also got some property out in the bush and I want to start building some structures, so I'm either going to build my own bandsaw saw mill, or just order a woodland mills saw mill. I usually try and build everything I can, but their prices are hard to beat for what you get. The prices of lumber and steel products have gone out the roof, so a mill makes more sense now than it ever has. Well you have yourself a blessed day Kenny!!

I just purchased a pretty clean blue 2007 Yamaha Grizzly 700 just like yours! Super excited about it! Mine only has 1,800 miles and 215 hours. Would you recommend I drill and tube the gas cap since it hasn’t been done? No gas boiling issue right now but you never know when that issue could arise. Also how do I know if my CV axles need to be replaced? Just if they break? I’ve replaced a torn CV boot before on my 02 Grizzly 660 but never replaced a whole CV axle. Have enjoyed my 02 660 a lot but looking forward to some new adventures on my new 07 700! The fuel injection and power steering are quite a nice upgrade from the 660.

thank you my friend for sharing this with everyone, now about the gas cap,if its not getting hot i might not do it untill i needed to, but as you know it cound happen, now if those axles start cracking and popping, then i would replace them, otherwise some good lube will do the trick, my rear axles are going bad, ready to be replaced, if you replace them make sure you buy a really good quality pair the cheap one just won't last very long,, i hope this helps you my friend, enjoy your grizzly, god bless,

Yep, bought my 2008 700 efi eps new. I have her torn down in the garage right now for a full maintenance spa treatment. The first year after cracking the gas cap in high altitude the entire contents blew up into my face. Yamaha installed a vent for the fuel tank that is faulty. They will not acknowledge or admit to the problem. I took out the vent and installed a standard small line fuel filter where the vent was. I’ve also had to change the stator which shorted out. I love my red beast, it takes on anything!

I bought a 2008 back in 2008 and road it as hard as a utility quad has ever been ridden, short of ghosting it off a cliff, but still pretty close. They are a workhorse and virtually indestructible. I would never buy or own another quad. After I bent the steering column and frame rolling it down a hill backwards multiple times, I sold it for enough to pick up a 2009 Ducks Unlimited Grizz and still have that one to this day.

Plus my 660 is getting up there in miles and hours and is in rougher shape. I think the previous owners drove it pretty hard. I bought it about 5 years ago as my first ATV and paid under $2,000 for it.
