I have a 991.1S convertible we did our first Porsche tour through the foothills of the Sierras it was beyond awesome the sports exhaust store I tell the other guys I got all seven buttons just like the one you’re reviewing the sound doesn’t really do it justice in the car with the top down or the people behind you it’s just way better than it sounds on your UA-cam but I can tell you’re enjoying it by your smile. When you revit up though that was pretty close. I do enjoy using the gear selector it’s almost like you’re shifting more than the buttons on the steering wheel if you have it an automatic it costs too much and you don’t get any slowing from the gears in the sound so I am shifting with the gear selector is almost like a clutch that I don’t wanna have.
That trip sounds absolutely amazing. How many miles have you done on it? Next time I’m driving one, I will use the gear selector and see how that feels compared to the shift buttons on steering wheel.
@@invictusporsche The trip was about 70 miles + or - the back way from Eldorado Hills to Plymouth, CA 38 cars 2 groups of 18. It was all first year PCA members tour very fun awesome group of people . Using the shift lever gives me the feeling of race shifting before the steering wheel levers. I just like the sound of the down shifts with crackles and pops it does a auto blip that is so cool it sounds like 6 speed. I have not seen anyone use it to shift on UA-cam you should show all those button pushers how much fun it is to drive and they can get more engagement. "Take that free hand off the wheel" in some tight twisty and you will be engaged! Keep showing that Porsche Love it's fun to watch. Total miles around 5K Coast driving, Half Moon Bay, Monterey, New Port CA 2 dy and 5 day to New Port Love that car it is everything I dreamt about for 40+ years! I call it my carrot.
Love the NA sound
Exhaust note 👌🏼👌🏼
The best indeed my friend 👌
Just saw this on your website. Cracking price
I love the 991.1
I think the Carrera S, with a manual box will be worth a lot one day !!
I love the 991.1 too and very reliable.
Do you have or had a 911?

What does it sound so slow changing gear ?
Sounds fine to me. Will feel quicker in sports plus mode
@@mrenigma6274 the first part of the video it was very slow, when he put his foot down it sounded better
Pdk should be instant
@@ianmitchell9102 that’s more the throttle response and the mode car is in makes a difference
