HONEST??? Clearly YOU don't know what the word "honest" means. The dish this chick is making is "Spicy Garlic Butter Linguine". Nowhere in the title of this video does it state this is a spicy dish. No one will know that until you click on the video. She's a LIAR! She's not honest.

My wife and I loved it. It is definitely going to be a regular recipe in our house. I will be looking at more of your recipes. I am Italian, from Napoli, and I approve. True, ingredients like "soy sauce" and "oyster sauce" are not in our tradition but in pasta recipes we sometimes use things that taste similar. Such as "Pasta di acciughe", that's Salted Anchovies and they have "Salt/Umami" like Soy Sauce. Oyster Sauce has additionally some Sugar in it - a sweet note. Us Italians are not haevy on sugar in our sauces but occasionally we put sugar in Tomato Sauce to correct acidity and enhance the natural sweetness of tomato. That will create a "soursweet effect" that, I will concede, in Asian dishes is somewhat stronger. I think this is a DELICIOUS fusion recipe.

Definitely a winner! I cooked it tonight for my wife and I and added a couple of lightly Asian marinated and sautéed chicken breasts (bite-sized)on the side to be incorporated in the noodles or not by choice. I just found your site a couple days ago and really like what I see! Thanks!

Oh yeah! This is how all the Grecians in Greece make it. It’s delicious!!
Extra garlic, butter and grated cheese, but the Greeks get the butter slightly browned first cause it gives it so much more flavor. Add chili flakes too...Try it that way! So good!! Omit the soy and oyster sauce, not necessary.

I made this twice. First according to the exact measurement of all recipes. My father who is excellent in cooking, commented that it was eatable but beyond normal salty, not too salty though. And that it has so much oil from the butter. Then I made this the next day with less butter (half of the original), and i toasted the garlic a bit, 1:2 ratio of soysauce:oyster and it was divine. Even without the garlic chips and cheese on top, twas perfect for our taste buds.

Yes, this recipe is a keeper! Made it three times so far with my 82-year old Mom she loves it too. My aunt (Mom's twin sister) is making this recipe tonight, her first time trying it.
So glad I found Marion's channel, I've always been afraid of cooking Asian food myself, but Marion's recipes I have tried have all been delicious, and not too difficult (for me) to prepare. I wish I could buy Marion's sauces here in Canada. One last compliment - Marion's videos are a joy to watch.

So yeah, I made this last night ... erm - YUM! It was utterly delicious, used salted butter so reduced the soy to 2 tablespoons and the oyster sauce to 1 3/4 - 2 tablespoons to avoid it being too salty and feel these measurements worked really well as I think it would have been really strong in flavour otherwise but it was one of the best recipes I've cooked for a while. Will defo be making this again!
