  • To kick this episode off, it's time to take a step back and share some success stories from viewers! From there we'll check the damage from what had to have been some pretty serious wind gusts, then it's on to a whole host of odds and ends jobs. Unseasonably warm weather pushes our apple trees into bloom more than a month ahead of normal which is never good on this mountain.

Thanks for the "shout out"! Hopefully your apple trees faired better than most from what I've heard around home.
    Keep the content coming guys!👍

You're welcome.. Thanks for sharing the pics! The apple and chestnut trees took a really bad hit this year. The new growth shriveled up and died in the freeze. It definitely makes for a strange sight now that everything is green EXCEPT them. Not a good feeling but hopefully they'll recover. If not, were taking up shuffleboard and turning the channel over.

Thanks for another great video! Good to see the crew altogether doing the Spring work. I know the to-do list is endless but I also know it’s all worth it for the camp. You have a very special group that’s a pleasure to watch. Take care & have a great summer!!

love your videos. Our work detail in April is some of the best times in camp. We do the work that doesn't seem like work and we joke around and have a great time. It's as fun as hunting season. Please keep them coming guys, it helps us to get through the summer months and you all are always entertaining. I wish you the best of luck this coming season!

Things may not have gone smoothly as you wanted, but at least you have a bunch of people showing up to help. Keep up the good work.

Yeah, good point. How many white hats ya need over on your side of the mountain? We've got a few to spare we'll send 'em over, ha!

Wonderful video, it was nice to highlight some of last year with all the success of some of the community. It was great to see the updates on things. Hopefully the “rainy” season has been plentiful for you. I can say the lack there of played a big part in success of foodplot management. Hopefully better late season weather will help with fall plots. Thank you for putting out the video and keeping us all in the loop. Good luck!

Definitely nice to see others success... Hope to share more of it this year! Rain seemed to be typical for the season in April starting out but then things changed and it's been tough to come by as you'll see in upcoming videos. For sure hoping the summer months aren't drier than normal and the fall plots get adequate rain. Glad you're enjoying the videos. Thanks!

great stuff.... any free hernias with trying to turn those nuts with the pipe wrench... Id be toast lol... to your issues with wind damage...between 3 different wind storms the last 12 months we lost about 16 big trees... too few to justify a timber company getting them but my Amish neighbors pulled out the logs with their horses and built a huge barn addition... pretty cool not going to waste and man as much as those Amish like to wack deer, they are some of the most resourceful and good neighbors a guy could ask for... keep them coming NCPA outdoors ...

16!? That's painful! We've got more content than we know what to do with right now which reminds me... I should probably get back to weaving together the next episode if we're looking to get back on track!
