Nice idea. Not a shock that stihl won’t sell the handle, but appears like that is a problem of the past.
With the thousands of cases still in service you would think they would have a few handles in stock. But I understand it's probably not a routine item. Personally I'm not a fan of the new case design.
good idea, I've repair various tool cases over the years, but never thought of using a bolt like that I need to get a case for my Stihl chainsaw, are these cases worth it? seems they did the job of protecting the saw other than a dent and the handle breaking.
Atleast you can fix it with now leeway to deal with
A simple solution to keep these old cases in service!
