    alright alright, you're twisting my arm. I'll turbo up my foz. I'm upgrading the suspension tomorrow. should be a great improvement.

    Primeran! ikusgarria da.
    Now, all that power under bonnet is going to demand a good lubrication or shorten oil change intervals to avoid oil degradation and future damage to the engine and turbo.
    An oil with the highest viscosity index will provide thermal stability to lubrication avoiding carbons formations.
    As comment, if you are using an xW30 oil you can consider Pennzoil Platinum Euro LX 0W30. It has a very high viscosity index 204, in Europe it's sold as Shell Helix Ultra ECT C2/C3 0W30, same Technical Data Sheet (TDS/PDS), same chemistry formulation.
    Give you a time to know your car on the road with this improvement and I'm looking forward to see the second part.
    Ondo izan,

      + Just a Wagon ACEA EUROPEAN OIL SEQUENCES www.acea.be/uploads/news_documents/ACEA_European_oil_sequences_2016.pdf
      Observe the difference (chemistry formulation) between a street/passenger car engine oil and a heavy duty engine oil.
      One example among others:
      ASTM D6082 ASTM High Temperature Foam Test. First 100 - nil of foam ml and second 200 - 50 of foam ml (milileters or centimeter cubics) at 150ºC. Where can this temperarute be achieved? Crankshaft bearings due to high pressures.
      Ondo ibili,

    Bought the same dump pipe for mine as it’s same model and year, only issue was mine can’t fit due to my forester being a right hand drive, meaning the steering linkage blocks the ability to fit this upsized dump. Truely gutting. Can’t be done on the right hand drive models, there’s a seperate company that understood this issue here in nz, and they make a slightly smalller version of the pipe, but god damn it sounds no where near as good :(

    Use a lighter or heat gun on intercooler piping to turbo for easier install:)

      I think it was more of an issue of cutting, testing, and cutting more on the universal hose to fit that presented the pain. :)

    Thanks for the video! This is one of the best ones I've seen as I'm gearing up for VF48 upgrade. Did you drain all coolant before doing this? Not much came out when you put the pan underneath to catch it. Also noticed you detached the oil drain tube underneath the turbo from the block - genius!

    • @JustaWagon
      @JustaWagon  7 років тому

      You don't need to drain all of it, just enough to get the level below the turbo. Not much came out because I didn't open the petcock up very much.

    How do you get cranking without starting it? Do you pull the fuse for the injectors? If so is there any risk of fouling the spark plugs?

    hi! just found your awesome subie vids! i've not found the answer to this but how long does a typical 2liter 4 cyl turbo last in miles? 100k? 80k? under normal mixed driving... no track nor off roading. Thx!!!

      I should have mentioned that in the video, but if you hold the gas to the floor while cranking it puts the car in clear flood mode and cuts fuel and ignition.

    • @JustaWagon
      @JustaWagon  7 років тому +2

      Full recirc.

    • @TheAJCheetah
      @TheAJCheetah 7 років тому

      Ahhh ok recirculating into your downpipe? and if so, did you have to modify your downpipe or did you buy it as a kit with the up pipe? I'm doing the same project on a forester too and already bought a SARD downpipe as well as other stuff. don't have the headers and up pipe yet though...I'd rather recirculate it too because I wont feel right dumping into atmosphere but just tryna figure out if i screwed up by buying a downpipe before figuring out my actual set up :/
      Thanks
