"smells like baby robots" is something we need on a t-shirt :P
Sarah's sunny personality and tech detail make me feel better even if my day wasn't stellar.
trooo, I want her to be my neighbour :)
Good work.
Tip for cutting smaller diameter hoses in situ, with restricted access, get a cheap cigar cutter. It gives a nice even square cut.
Its so amazing how over time your garage has evolved and improved to what it is now. Your talent is finally getting matched up with your work area and tools... longtime follower, not too often commenter... but I really enjoy that you keep to your roots and do ‘garage’ style DIY still... please dont change your style... you rock!
I’m a frustrated OCD perfectionist. This is my official therapy channel.
you said ALUMINIUM! 😍
At last a north american who understands the english language, well done!!!!
Yeah now all you need to change is SOLDER - Not SODDER . You must be listening Sarah ? Hahaha
@eggmanwi Tea can be drunk anyway you like, in no known universe can aluminium become aluminum
@@sitrucmit and now we need to convince them that their gas is actually a liquid called petrol
@@sitrucmit err, what do you mean, in the lands of Aluminium, it's solder
Dear Sarah!!! Great Video....watching YOU makes the world seem to be normal......keep rockin' on!!
Sarah: "Smells like baby robots.."
Me: 😂🤣
BABY ROBOOOOOOOTS!!!! 😂😂😂😂
Sarah, please dont ever change !
Love your funny awkward style 😁
Weekend isn't complete without getting a Sarah N tuned Video upload....With the intro...."Hello people of the inter web".....and OCD mentioned at least once... Remember keep calm and maintain the cleanliness....😉
I've said it before🙄I'll say it again 😹your attention to detail makes this the top of my subscriptions. You are awesome.
You are so so so a winner. You are doing such a technical job and still manage to make it so interesting with your expressions, “beeps” and comments. You’re beautiful 😍
I never thought I meet another with my ocd, or my love for modifying everything. This is why I watch your channel. And your humor, and the fact that we’re both veterans.
Anytime you can eliminate potential fail points it’s always a good thing! 👍🏻
With the amount of work you put in, you’ve inspired me to do my own. I’m grateful because I found more than a few things other people have skimped on throughout the years the car was taken for service. I’ve rectified a lot of issues. I’m hoping to get the car back on the road by the end of the month! 👏🏻
Can’t wait to see some of the goodies you got for the gump! 👏🏻🎉
I truly hope your viewers appreciate all the effort that goes into these truly professional-esque videos. The downside of you being the creator is you don’t get to experience the joy and admiration we do as viewers. You have an artistic gift that is quite uplifting.
Sarah you make my day everytime I watch one of your videos you are so full of life and your so much fun to watch. Don't worry about the straight extension it changes nothing. And even if it did it would be so small it wouldn't matter.
Looking forward to your next
My FAVORTIST youtuber!!!! Much luv for Sarah!!
This lady captures the best of Scotty’s and Doug’s channels. Let’s go for the 3 million subscribers then!
Cristián M I don’t think I’ll ever have 1 million let alone that many 😆
Sarah -n- Tuned Why think big when you can think bigger?
Let’s go for those 3 million!
You are freaking awesomeI love your sense of humor. We need more real people like you. Thank you for the great video.
Love watching you work on cars. Something I can't do but so fun to watch others do it
“”clip sponsored by OCD”” lol
Got a laugh outta that one, yep :D
Hey Sarah, thanks for being you! Your jokes ARE fire 🔥, I don't care what anybody says! OCD!
Never been jealous of a camera until now....Keep it up, great quality as always.
First time I have managed to watch a video less than an hour old.
Its 11.10 pm here in the uk.
Keeps these vids comming crazy Sarah 😉😉😗😗😗
No it's not it's 11:25 ! 🤣
I really like watching your channel it is my favorite one of all ! Keep up the great work !
I can't believe theres less thumbs up for likes then views come on people got to love Sarah
Sarah you're so funny with the cute turbo comment, thank you for your hard work I've learned a lot 🚗
I love and appreciate the ocd on cleanliness! Keep up the videos they’re great!
love how you take care of your cars. so much better than spoiled youtubers who buy a C8 and destroy the engine with big turbos within a month or two
I'd be first in line to buy any one of her used cars.
She was trying to sell Teeter Tot a while back. But no one was jumping at the chance.
I’m that used to you cleaning thoroughly that I’m surprised you even mention it , it’s one of your best traits as it’s so much better working on a clean bottom Great to see Gump getting stuff for you 🙏🏴
@@Russpilot Maybe they wanted something for nothing.
yep. under my wrx wagon looks like 2 decades and grease and neglect and here's sarahs XT with an underside you could literally eat off
-cars +slip
Just found your channel and I love it! I am a female who loves to work on anything mechanical. You are a great power of example for any young women that might be interested in this stuff!
i have 159k miles on my '14FXT - bone stock no problems. Never had vacuum leak issues with mine, but I did change out clamps on all the hoses years ago just in case - still holding strong! Still love my car
Looks like the tires are out of alignment. Outside of the tire is scuffed. Love your work. Such a perfectionist. Love it.
Larry Hall that’s because it hasn’t been aligned since I put the coilovers on, no point until I’m done upgrading stuff and put new tires on.
We are in major lockdown in Melbourne so thanks for your entertaining vids. Love the humour.
Samsonite! back to the good ol' days... Also thank you for installing and reviewing the steering dampener, if it makes you grin, my Forester also needs one.
What a chill video. Can't believe I never realized Gump was boosted. Guess Subaru 3 letter badges are beyond me.
Watching this in the future, 11/23/21.
Reminds me of your challenges in your garage at home.
You aren’t pale, you have what musicians call it... you have a studio tan😉
I am so envious of your ocd..that car looks better than new..great video..
Perrin sounds like a good company. Thanks for the video.
9:48- Yeah, I'd be shakey too
That camera shot was quite stable. But is there a pc word for that camera position?
I like your cleanliness! Loved your jokes
Hi from England. Great video. Appreciate you pronounced aluminium correctly.
SARAH you is a awesome lady. days always better with Sarah in it
Just picked up a 2016 XT and looking forward to doing some stuff do it after I correct the paint and ceramic coat it!
Hooray 😁 another Gump video. I can’t explain why but I really like the forester
I could watch you work on cars all day 😍😍
Glad to see Gump get some Love. Cats act as if they Really don't want to be Bothered.
I love ur videos Sara keep being ur funny goofy self and never change
I absolutely love the sound of Gump. I can't wait to put an exhaust on our 2020 Onyx OBXT.
Look at that cat! Love the video of wrenching on your vehicles, keep them coming.
Sarah are you building a track day Gump? That would be something really unique. I don't see how you are able to get your hands into some of the places you work on. I always feel I'm sticking my hand in a vice. I'm glad you are no longer working in a garage oven. Great video Sarah always enjoy watching you work.
Another Awesome and informative video and entertaining, thanks Sarah 😘
Good quality torque wrench doesn’t really lose any accuracy torquing with an extension as long as the fastener remains at a 90 degree angle with the head
The New England accent when you say damper or sand. Great!
47th!!😁
Happy Saturday Sarah!! This is the earliest I've been able to catch one of your vids, as work driving a tractor/trailer doesn't exactly allow for it. Keep doing what you do and stay excellent.
Torque specs are fine with extensions unless by using one, you change the length of the torque wrench. This is why when using crow foot wrenches, you need to mount them 90 degrees to the wrench head.
See, if you take it off road, then you get the joy of cleaning it every time and boy is that satisfying.
Omg you said Aluminium correctly!! 👍👏😄😃
Don't worry about the torque. An extension won't change the torque. Only if you use something offset, like a crowfoot wrench will it change.
Its was a long wobble extension. There is almost zero chance to use it without supporting both ends of the torque wrench. That would change the torque getting to the fastener, thus her comment.
An extension of sufficient torsional rigidity will lose a negligible amount of torque between indicated and applied due to windup of the extension. So use the shortest stoutest extension you can.
@@wayne9518 I like your explanation. You sure sound like an engineer I used to work with!
Great vid Sarah!
That's nice........ Love you Sarah. Don't ever change mate, you are perfect the way you are.
Was wondering? Are there any more of you out there? I want one. You are quite amazing!
You do nice work Sarah !
Subaru uses a Santoprene material for their Air Flow Tubes , Toyota uses EPDM rubber with thicker dimensions. Honda uses different material and thin out the tubes to save money , around 1.8 mm in the bellows, that often cracks
Hello... Sarah of the Garage. 👍🏻
Good to see Garage Sarah back, since I prefer the mechanical videos. I started to feel like we were seeing more of Abandoned Warehouse Sarah lately. 😉
The OCD "PSA" was friggin funny! I also suffer from the same disorder, it sucks sometimes! 🤣
You're going to see more reviews after this, waiting on cage to get finished in the Focus and I need parts still for the Forester.
@@SarahnTuned Yeah, waiting on parts sucks...Especially in 2020 with all this crap going on, that allowed the manufacturing companies to get backed up, and the shipping companies to be borderline useless...As if they needed another excuse to slack off. 🙄
But, It's all good Sarah. 👍🏻 I don't mind the reviews, as a matter of fact, I typically watch them. I just prefer the mechanical videos a little more, since I like working on my trucks, and always have built my own vehicles. But that's all just personal preference. I'll still be around watching all your videos, don't worry. 😉
I agree, that is, always read the instructions, aka "RTFM"
AWESOME. LOVE THE CONTENT AND KEEP PUSHING. YOUR DOING A GOOD JOB...
Saw those parts on insta and was looking forward to this. It seemed to go nice and easy with no hiccups. Those thing-a-ma-bobs are aka barb by barb fittings
Glad that air conditioner is working out for you!
Tony Giraldes it’s not bad as long as I never open the garage door, takes a day nearly to recover.
Great work. Love your videos. Thank you.
Can't go wrong with a bit of Saturday night Sarah!
I too name all my vehicles, currently I drive “Air Force One” 😂 . Love you Vlogs ♥️
That steering dampener/locker is a great idea
Great information and entertainment!
You can use an extension on the torque wrench. As long as it stays co-axial with the bolt, the torque reading will be unaffected. And I am a former Space Shuttle engineer actually :)
Great vid!!!
Nice whip!
Hahaha .... loved the OCD moment ....made me laugh ... :) :) Love your sense of humour Sarah and your doing a fantastic job on your channel ... :) :)
So proud of how you pronounced Aluminium :)
Binged all the videos. There's a tasteful amount of weird. But as a previous automotive engineer. Good analysis on them all
You’re hilarious! Wonderful channel.
Your torque is fine through an extension. The only time torque changes is if you use an offset attachment like a dog-bone and the angle changes in relation to the wrench head. Extensions don't change that angle, you're fine.
Sarah you just get better and better..He said
I come for the knowledge and stay for the innuendoes..😁
What? Italian suppositories?
(I'll get my coat.)
Her awkward sassiness is AMAZING!!!
Binding is the word you were looking for in regard to the steering.
If I hit the lotto I will pay you big $$ to prep my cars for me. Your attention to detail is amazing.
Murder valves, that's what he said and lubing it up.
Killing it with the puns
I was under my daughter's car today for transmission fluid service. I took the plastic covers off and looked there and all of sudden I thought, this is not going to pass the Sara inspection, no sir. Got the cleaners and pressure washer and I actually cleaned under the car. LOL.
reminds me of some playstation screws which have the square, circle, triangle, cross embossed on them... no regular person owning one will ever see it...
cleaning the dirt behind panels isn't something normal people would ever see, but you know it's there...
Woah, I beat the UA-cam notification 😁 When you held the tube up to your face, I expected a "toot! toot!", or maybe a valley girl "totally tubular!" comment. Nice to see Gump getting a little love.
I was expecting something from Mighty Car Mods, thing, alike.
Perrin makes high-quality parts and I wish they would consider making a turbo kit. They did a build for a Lotus Elise, fabricating the turbo manifold, but didn't pursue going further and making a kit. Sad times we live in. Anywho, awesome video. Keep'm coming.
Ms. Monk is a riot, today. Luv ya. BTW, extensions have no affect on torque wrench readings.
Hey girl hey....
Keep up the awesome content
Your nails look great in this video! 🔥
love the videos!!! also was looking to see if you could possibly do a car review of the BMW X6 M competition
I saw what I think was an Outback with BFG All Terrain tires, it looked beastly.
I just bought a 2014 wrx with cobb suspension and cobb cold air intake and a cobb exhaust it's a fun little car
But now I'm getting a
P0021 code
And it's my first subaru
As a fellow QuickJack owner (partly because of your recommendation) I can confirm that they are in fact heavy.
