    2 years in, and I'm STILL in love with these!
    Only down to 8/32, they they're wearing very well.
    2 winters in, and no issues with snow at all.
    When the time comes, I'll be getting another set!

      Jiminy Cricket lol 😂 great analogy ! I do remember those old corvair cars and their reputation for roll overs . It’s a shame the automotive industry doesn’t just put decent tires on the vehicles. It’s like a waste of rubber to make something that is going be replaced and not even used by most people . And really , how much more would it cost them to put the Falken AT Trails on the Outback when they have a contract to outfit millions of these things ? The price we pay for car these days should include a worthy tire to go with it .

    Do you think the wear on your old tires was normal? My 2017 outback with stock tires has pretty uneven wear (though one of the tires is constantly low psi) where the outsides are more worn on some of the tires. Wondering if that is natural or I need alignment.

    • @MTsubfly
      @MTsubfly  4 роки тому +1

      I think my wear was normal. I think its from the AWD system. All 4 had extra wear on only the inside shoulders. Low pressure isn't good. You might have a slow leak. You can get that checked, some places will check your alignment for free, only charge for repairs. My alignment has been good.

    • @MTsubfly
      @MTsubfly  3 роки тому

      unfortunately i never had time to do a winter video. Maybe soon. Our business is consuming any free time. However, both the wife and I have driven over the pass and around town in the snow. It's not as good as an actual "snow tire", but for an all terrain/all season it performs up to my needs. With this tire IMO there is no need to switch out to a snow tire. Install good tread, drive cautiously, and you will do great in snow. I would buy again.

      See my latest upload too. I do 50/50 city hwy, the loss in mpg is mostly in the city, more stopping, and more get up and going eats a bit more fuel, not because of the tread so much, but the weight. They are 9 lbs heavier each. 36 more lbs to get rolling makes a difference.
